Negroni Sbagliato Cocktail | Jamie Oliver & Giuseppe Gallo
Вставка
- Опубліковано 8 вер 2024
- We're in the Italian city of Turin with Jamie and Giuseppe to make this classic cocktail of 'aperitivo' - the Negroni Sbagliato. Originally created as a delicious mistake, it's a twist on the classic Negroni cocktail, switching out the gin for Prosecco. Combined with Martini sweet vermouth and bitter liqueur, it's a perfect, lightly sparkling cocktail to awaken your appetite before a meal. Created in partnership with Bacardi.
Give it a try and let us know what you think. Do you prefer the Negroni Sbagliato or would you rather stick with the classic Negroni?

I‘m actually here to hear an example how an Italian pronounces sbagliato, and it confirmed my suspicion that the g is silent like lasagna.
With Prosecco in it
You said I could've had anything, I want Rhaenyra
Stunning
Stunning 🎉
I love dressing up in drag on Sunday and sipping cocktails!
Just learned about this cocktail in Milan this week. It is delicious and now my favorite !!
The Negroni Sbagliato is the greatest mistake ever made by a bartender.

I love to see those videos! I get inspired to have my homemade cocktails!!!
Hey guys, loved the drink. Definitely a must try.
Also I got a a beautiful bottle of Peruvian Pisco, I would love to see a drink inspired by this liquor. Thank
TikTok and Emma brought me here 😂
That was another fun video, and I have another place to put on my to do list to visit! That drink looked fantastic! When we get some vermouth again, I would LOVE to try and make it. The only drink I could think of with a paired food item is irish coffee and coffee streusel cake. I haven't tried it myself but it sounds like a good pair. What do you think? Of course a good alcoholic hot chocolate is good too. (I love using either whipped vodka or marshmallow fluff vodka in it :D )
great video!!
Wild Mushroom Thanks
What would be the difference between the bitters liquor and something like angostura bitters?
Danielle Williams Angostura Bitter is a concentrate aromatic bitter with high ABV made with spices and herbs and It's regularly use in drops (e.g. Manhattan Cockt : Whiskey with Sweet Vermouth and a drop of Angostura)
- MARTINI Bitter Liqueur is an Aperitif made with grain alchool, sugar and herbs & spice extracts and can be drink neat or mix in cocktail with large measure, similar to Amer Picon, Pimms or St Germain liqueur). I hope this help...Salute!
Great vid as always! Actually I knew that Negroni Sbagliato was invented by Mr. Mirko Stocchetto at Bar Basso in Milan... :-/
I'm Italian so i can say that actually the translation of Negroni Sbagliato is Wrong Negroni or Negroni Mistaken, just to clarify XD
Great video. I have one question though, is the bitter liquer you are using the same as aromatic bitters such as Angostura Aromatic Bitters? If not can we and how do we either substitute or make our own out of the aromatic?
Michael Hinchey No, Angostura Bitter is a concentrate aromatic bitter with high ABV made with spices and herbs and It's regularly use in drops (e.g.
I hope this helps.
Jamie Oliver's Drinks Tube Thank you. That is a great explanation. Looks like I'm on my way to the liquor store. Again... Haha
Can you make a cocktail for kingsday !! In the netherlands
maulo zanichelli KINGSDAY! We forgot about that. Will have to have a think....
Jamie, what a stunning drink, but could you give an example of bitter liquor? Which brand? Thanks for sharing your knowledge !
Mary-Jo Zilveti In this video we used Martini bitters from our pals at Martini.
Campari is always used in a negroni
Mary-Jo Zilveti Campari
When he says drinks tube, he it sounds like drink chube
Negroni... sbagliato... with prosecco in it. 😏
what's your drink of choice?....I was gonna say the same thing....oooohhh...... oh, stunning 😊
badum tsss :D
Would love to make this but i cant find the bitter is there an other bitter i could use?
maulo zanichelli Use whichever bitters you are able to get hold of (but obviously not Angostura bitters :)
Haha thank you, I will definitely try this cocktail !
Is Martini bitters different from Angostura bitters?
IcemanC130 yes. you wouldnt be able to drink 50ml of angostura bitters, you only use a few drops!
IcemanC130 From Giuseppe: Angostura Bitter is a concentrate aromatic bitter with high ABV made with spices and herbs and It's regularly use in drops (e.g.
What brand of bitters do you use?
Sam Jebus In this video we used bitters from our partners at Martini.
Jamie Oliver's Drinks Tube but Martini red WAS a vermouth !! atm it isnt !!
I know this is now sounding picky but … wouldn't it make more sense to call it Royal Americano? Sure, the Americano is a variation of the Negroni, but since the Americano already has soda in it and with it a sparkling texture it's closer related to this one, isn't it?
+diotough It's a fair point!
It-s called that for reasons of historical legacy. Many words come about in nonsensical fashions and are not adjusted to fit logic. Just happens to be called that.
it even has prosecco. lmfao
Stunning
Come and visit my dads distillery in the city of London, he'd really benefit from your help!!

***** Thanks Amy. Sounds ace.
You should try mixing Jaegermeister and Sprite, tastes like gummy candy
Cynical Penguin Never tried that. Sounds... interesting!
I find jäger and red bull even better
Vracass Vancini Jagerbombs! A university classic haha
Under 301
oh so when my parents say I was a sbagliato they just mean one of these
peterl161 No they mean you were a mistake -_- sorry
en.wiktionary.org/wiki/sbagliato
Kinda looks like aperol spritz
Y Aperol Spritz = This drink with Aperol (instead of Campari) minus the red vermouth with a splash of soda water on top.
I came here to hear an Italian pronounce sbagliato properly because the absolute bastardisation this poor cocktail has gotten recently hurts my soul
Oh you poor thing. Are you usually this neurotic or is this something new?
Can we all finally agree that Jaime Oliver is, at best, a glorified home cook.
Dude didn't get anything authentic and it has been proven time after time. YET, people covet him
