Check for recalls for the transmission, had mine done a few weeks ago and the bike runs a lot better mow.
Had issues with getting into gears 4 to 5 to 6 on the up shift also getting into neutral.
But it's a free repair so no stress.

I’m not familiar with A2 (as we go by different things here in the US) but I think that’s the beginner license?? If so, this bike is really perfect man lol wether stock or modded. Highway or city. Slow or ‘fast’...this bike gets its done!

Hi Dale. Hope your'e well and no more falls. That's the bike on my mind. I watched your video a while back, and I'm happy that I found it again. Motorcycles are an addictive hobby. I have questions, if you don't mind. Do you still dig the CB300R? Or have you fallen out of love with it because the lower engine power? And people say it's okay on the highway. I want to be able to ride the highway. I tried my Z125 for shits and giggles (less that 2 miles), and it was exhilarating because I thought I was going to die by semi.
The fact that it’s exhilarating is what most ppl don’t get when they say it’s not safe for the highway. They’re relying on their bike too much in my opinion. Confidence and assurance in your skill is a big part.
I used to ride a grom before the 3. On the highway too 🤷🏾♂️
I love my bike. I love it a lot. You might want to try a dynot tune and power commander tho...just to give it more spark 👺

How far are you thinking? I’ve traveled for about an hour on the highways with. I issue. Highway riding relies (I believe) more on your confidence then the bike itself
Mr300OG I’m from nyc looking to be able to take trips upstate or Long Island as well as city commute I’m considering a cb300r or a CB650R there’s about 5k price difference and don’t wanna spend the extra money if I don’t have to
Oh bro you’ll be fine! I live in jersey and work in the city. I initially wanted the 650 but the price was an issue for me too. You’ll be fine with the 300 bro. I also DynoTuned mine and put an power commander so that makes it able to handle higher speeds then stock

No issues with it at all! They deserve every penny they make, it’s a high quality product.
Is the power commander worth it & did you program it yourself or the dyno people did it?

Yeah unfortunately they can’t 🤕 or at least I haven’t yet. My fastest was 98!!! And that was like all conditions in my favor 🤣
I also dynotuned my bike so that’s what made the 98 possible
@@Mr300OG 98 is plenty fast for me! But does the Power Commander get you up to speed quicker?
It’s pronounced Ah Crop Oh Vich and pull the baffle if you want the deeper sound. Allen screw on the inside. Power commander is a must on this bike.

Mate did you change your air filter before or after your dyno tune? If it was after then it might need another tune to get the most out of it...

Hey there, thanks for this video. Thanks to you I upgraded my CB300R. Quick question, did you had to do any adjustments or modifications to the Biltwell Grips? I bought mine from Revzilla, and they feel a bit big for the left handlebar end like there is space between the metal and the grip.
I honestly wish I knew man. I took mine to the professionals and they took care of it.

I wanted to make my CB300R have the same black plastics you listed. I followed the exact link you listed and ordered from that exact page (there's no pictures or anything), and it ended up unfortunately being pretty expensive because I'm in Australia.
The package arrived today, but it only contained the left plastic guard (not the right or the headlight). Are you able to point me in the right direction for how to get the black headlight and right guard? Thank you so much!

The left side should be the mostly the same code for the R. Make sure it also says SHROUD SET L
When buying the headlight, make sure it says MATTE AXIS GREY

So in reference to the Akraprovic exhaust, If I just buy that same exhaust for the same Honda you have, simply for sound, I don't need the power commander or Dyno tune correct?
Nahhh you don’t need a dynotune or power commander. The AKRO will def give you the sound you’re looking for 🤣

You have to look up:
2020 shrouds
Left and right
It’ll say matte or matte axis black or something like that.
Use the picture guide the site provides to find the section of the bike that is the shroud.

I plan on doing a few mods, gear selector indicator, pegs, levers, fender eliminator, Rizoma retro reverse bar end mirrors, Rizoma Club signals, and later on exhaust.
I sold my 2017 FZ09 for the CB300R, had a Grom before the FZ09 and I missed the fun I had pushing a small cc bike to it's limit. The FZ09 was fun but too much for my needs.
Got a question for you OG300, when you've installed your bar end mirrors, how did you remove the inner sections that the oem bar ends screws into?

Have you had any issues with the bike at all? There is a recall on the 2018 and 2019 but I am not exactly sure what it has to do with.
Adrian Boddie luckily no I haven’t. I actually have to bring mine into be serviced for the recall. Google it, you’ll find what it’s for

Helllo! I got my bike in January and there were no US made eliminators so I bought one from ZeedSports which is a Thailand based company

There’s not a whole lot. I believe 20 comes standard with ABS and the colors scheme is different.

Not sure what the equivalent to that is in mikes but the bike can handle anything man. I’ve ridden on highways during the rain. This bike is capable. The question you have to ask yourself is are YOU capable? The bike is only as capable as you are.

Nahh. Just take care of the oil, put the right gas etc. take care of the bike and it’ll take care of you

What kit did you use for fender eliminator/tail tidy
lombanaface1 I got one from overseas seeing that when I bought the bike back in January, there weren’t any reputable fender eliminators.
Here in NY I’ve gotten two tickets bcuz the police don’t like how upwards they point so I’m looking to get the T. rex gender eliminator. Has some good reviews

I ordered the Yoshimura fender eliminator for my CBR300R from Amazon. Easy to install and it came with solder butt connecters for the license plate light.

Nah. This is the first time I’m hearing of it!
When I put mine in, K&N was the only air filter at the time.
@@Mr300OG what I've heard is bmc has got more surface area and allows for more air intake compared to k&n but on the flippity flop it's also gotta be cleaned a little more often to keep it from clogging.

You don’t HAVE to tune if you put on an exhaust. I tuned mine AFTER my akrapovic

You don’t have to bro. You’ll be fine with just an exhaust change
Its NOT just some Harley asshole thing or some Vtwin wannabe Harley guy thing. Loud pipes do save lives! You have to understand at all times when your on a bike people DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT YOU AND THEY WILL KILL YOU WITH THERE CAR! People arent trying to do that however complacency kills! Loud pipes have saved my bacon more times than I can count fingers on my hands!
You’re right man, you’re right. Sometimes I don’t like how loud it sounds riding through closed streets but that’s just a side effect. Wouldn’t go back to a stock/quiet exhaust.
How much did you pay for your stock cb300r?
5k! I bought in NY at NY Honda Yamaha. No setup fees and all that extra stuff
Top speed stock and now? Considering this for my first bike instead of grom
I’d suggest just going with this bike. I started out on a Grom. Fun, but use your $$ wisely yano?
Stock top was like 85 (with a real struggle lol) and my top modified is 97 in a tunnel.
Mr300OG preciate the info I got my eye on a red one for the same price as a grom brand new

I paid around 5.5k but that’s bcuz I added more warranty. The spot I bought it from also doesn’t charge for the fees which really came in handy.
Never sell it. Unless you're ready to throw cash down the toilet. you'll lose what you spent on the mod's and on the bike as a whole because of the fact that it's used now. Mod's will never get you more Cash when you tried to sell it. I talk from experience. I lost $5000 on my MT-09; add to that almost $4000 on mod's and install😖
