Daughters and I had to ship our rocks back home when our family car broke down on vac and we flew home....we love rocks, too. Riding off road opens up another world of wow. We are lucky enough to be in summer here in New Zealand and three of us are doing a mainly off-road ride this Tuesday through some back country high country farms. we are really looking forward to it. We have one novice coming with us. She has always shied away from gravel even though she has an Africa Twin. Looking forward to the next episode.

I've been riding Harley's for over 20 years (Sportster xl custom 2000 and Dyna Street Bob 2007) and this year I bought a Honda CB500X. It really is like learning to ride all over again. A totally different world. But I like it 😁

I did that ride a few years ago ,while on vacation. but in a car and the whole time all I could think of was I wish I was on a bike . I also LOVE ROCKS !!!
I am just learning to ride an ADV after being a sport bike guy. I was riding at maybe 20 MPH on gravel until I followed my friend on his dual sport. Now I am able to push it to 50 MPH and get the back wheel to slide into turns without freaking out. It was definitely a new experience but I am loving every minute of it.

I love Utah and have rode through there twice and this last time did the Muki Dugway on my way back to Alberta Canada on my Road Glide. I would love to go back on a Pan America one day, until then i will have to be content watching you 👍

Yay! Yeah it took way too long to get to this series but I’m excited to finally publish it!!! Would’ve been great to take rawhyde training courses before this adventure that’s for sure but hey, it proved their worth, tenfold!!
Great video! As always. I totally get you. After 11 years on 3 Harley-Davidsons I switch on Ducati Scrambler and discover dirt roads. Totally different ride. But I love it. :) Ride safe!
@@ridetofood It is a real fun! Compared to enduro bikes, scramblers are very light. But after 3 years on the Scrambler I miss the H-D so I'll have to have two bikes. :) Because dirt rinding and camping is something I love. :)
Left Tennessee for Vegas in October to rent a Suzuki V-Strom to ride the same route through Utah all the way to Monument Valley and back. Wow! is all I can say. Thanks for the video!

I haven't ridden in Utah yet (other than when I rode in a circle around the Four Corners Monument), even though it's only a day's ride away, but Zion is definitely in my future.

That Pan America is a sweet bike. Looks much better in person than in pictures or videos. I had a BMW R1200GS for a few years. Trouble was it was not the best two up bike compared to my Road King and my wife enjoys riding with me. Being the practical sort I couldn’t justify the expense of two bikes so I sold the Beemer and kept the Harley.

My bagger sits in the garage now after I got my Africa Twin. I maybe put 50 miles on it this year and the African got 14k it's just so much more practical for the touring I do nowadays. And I can't bring myself to sell the victory off so it sits waiting for one last ride to Niagara falls.
Just depends…but usually between 150-200 is where I’m comfortable stopping. It’s a 5.6 gallon tank. Depends on wind, gas quality, riding style/type, and other factors as to what the range will end up being

I have a 2015 Dyna wide glide that I thought I would never part with. But I think I would trade it in for a Pan-Am. Looks like a great bike.
I’ll sell all the dynas in the world for a pan am 😂 but that’s just me!!
My bagger sits in the garage now after I got my Africa Twin. I maybe put 50 miles on it this year and the African got 14k it's just so much more practical for the touring I do nowadays. And I can't bring myself to sell the victory off so it sits waiting for one last ride to Niagara falls.

Just depends…but usually between 150-200 is where I’m comfortable stopping. It’s a 5.6 gallon tank. Depends on wind, gas quality, riding style/type, and other factors as to what the range will end up being
