Highway 50 across northern Nevada is an amazing ride. Most of the area is desolate, so be sure to have enough fuel, a reliable bike, and ride with a friend. Totally worth it though.
We have been to Vegas many times but the limit of our riding in Nevada was thru the Valley of Fire. A beautiful ride but the Street Glide we rented left something to be desired. 🤷🏻♂️ Thanks for showing us so much more of this beautiful state Staci. Well done once again. 👍🏻
This video was fantastic and probably my favorite one of yours to date, It was just so entertaining and informative. I've ridden Highway 50 but not all of it. Thanks again for all the work involved in making these.
Thanks for the vicarious trip, I got a giddy type of high from seeing the love y’all shared. My father and I had over 35 years of riding together. He passed on @ 88 but was riding at 85.The great southwest was our stomping grounds. From a mini-trail 70 to a Ducati Hypermotard (I call the ThunderCat)I thank my dad for an awesome life from scuba diving to skydiving riding over a dozen different bikes, at one time owning 5 at once ( I was that guy )sorry never owned a Harley. But Love em!!!Two Wheels make transportation more than transportation. You get it!! And I ThankYou for a helping me decide on my next ride.Heck it’s even on the way to visit my daughter in California.Be safe out there👍❤️💪
Another amazing video! The production is outstanding! With so much information and suggestions for places to visit! It will take me a life time to do what you had showed here. Your channel is another underrated channel here in UA-cam. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Nevada is a gorgeous state once you are outside of Vegas. The Great Basin Highway is awesome, but the roads that parallel much of are even better. And Great Basin National Park is an under appreciated gem. 😃
Your channel is amazing and has become one of my favorite motorcycle touring channels. Thank you for what you do, I love the history and especially the food stops! I live in southern Utah and will definitely be making this journey in 2024!
Was just out there at that Eagle Rider for trip to Denver and back for the last Dead & Co. show in Boulder. Amazing trip and included some stuff in Nevada that wasn’t covered like Valley of Fire and Virgin River Gorge (technically Utah). Thank you again for an amazing destination ride video!
Loved the video, some great places and roads! Mental note: Do not skip lunch and then watch a Ride to Food premiere. You will eat twice as much. And all those good roads make you more hungry.
Great episode, I have been through Nevada a bunch off-road racing and doing the loop you did on bikes has been a bucket list for sure! Also thanks for the shoutout on IG for the beer donation on your East coast trip!
Staci Wilt you have topped yourself AGAIN!! This video is outrageous. Ride to Food and Daughters of the Road (Kristen and Brandi) what a match up for a ride!!
This should be used by Nevada Tourism to allure travelers. Always enjoy your commentary and videography. Chuckled at the in-room Jet Boil coffee prep! Thanks for sharing.
Know time is limited on trips, but stops in hawthorn, Tonopah, Goldfield and Betty are also fun stops, made the trip several times that you just did, it's fun and historic.
Fun whirlwind trip around my home state, outstanding video. I learned about a couple of places for good food that I didn't know about. C'mon back sometime and we'll take you around - there's a lot more to see in Nevada... the Alienburger is calling you!
Great trip Staci. I’ve watched a lot of other vids on Nevada, but I learned something new watching yours. And that pizza looked to die for. Larry in Fort Worth
Nice job Staci, I just don’t understand why people just can’t watch a video, and quit with the criticism. You really have a great voice for narrating. I really admire a young woman who can ride, and enjoy history, and explain it. I don’t know if you have an affiliation with Harley? But the Pan America would be the only Harley I would consider. Are you able to give your likes and dislikes of the bike? Thanks!
Looks like you were having entirely too much fun! I loved your drone shots.Great video! Thank you so much for sharing it with us out here in UA-cam land.
Another awesome video sweet the way u get to see the country heck just other day u were up here in the north east where we do most of our ridding ride safe girl as always
Great video! I love "The Loneliest Road", also rode it in May, but it was 2016. Rode it as part of my first "Iron Butt" ride. It was a pleasant surprise for scenery good riding. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks a lot Staci! Just when I think I'm making some progress in roads I have to ride, along comes this video!😂 Now I have to add another one to the list! Seriously though, great production as always! Just got back from a 23 day ride from the southern Canadian prairies up to northern BC, the Yukon and Alaska. Thank you for helping to lessen the post trip blues😊
@@ridetofood thanks, yeah it was for me, 10,300km about 6400 miles, did a big loop and tried to stay away from riding the same road twice as much as possible. Crossed the Arctic Circle on the Dalton, met a lot of cool people, some on adventures much bigger than mine😊
Love your content and concept! Through out the whole video I kept hearing Neil Young in my head - somewhere on a desert highway she rides a Harley Davidson - lol, couldn't help it.
That Huge Burrger would feed me for a week..lol True.. Great Vid as always nice to travel with friends.. cheers from Down Under |& Knee's in Da Breeezzzzzzzeeeee........
I am always looking for great weekend trips not far from home. Thanks to your video Im heading out this weekend only in reverse starting at the beginning of HWY 50 in West Sacramento and ending in Ely and making all the stops in between. Can not wait to see what Nevada has to offer on two wheels.
Great Video Staci! Perfect timing too. I'm riding out to ADV Fest in Sturgis next month from LA and will definitely be hitting up Great Basin on the ride out
Staci. Off subject but we just returned from three weeks at Yellowstone and the black hills. I had saved and watched all of your videos on both areas. Thanks for the insight! We took advantage of a bunch of your stops and interesting place.
Now I have to add Nevada to an Arkansas trip… you find the best scenery, history, and food in all these places - what a great ride. Only thing missing was some camping, but you had the Jet Boil in the hotel room! P.S. - please look at the lens and not the flip-out screen :) Great video…
Great content - useful information well presented. Love your editing and camera work - with just sparring use of action cam/go pro stuff. 50 (and 6) are a bit of a Time Machine/riding on the moon experience (especially during a snow storm) - the number of hills/valleys is fantastic for riding. I must return and now I have a date with a Monster Burger . . .
That definitely refreshed the memories from last years ride. I rode Hwy 50 last July going the other direction. We got on around Fernley and rode it until it met HWY 70 in Utah . Unfortunately my camera mount for the bike broke while rolling into Reno and I didn't get a replacement until we until we were in CO. So I do not have any real video of that stretch of road.
I did most of that ride five years ago. However I left from Reno and went to Tonopah, from there to Ely. Then 50 back to Reno. Late this summer I am going to do it again but going lower to ride the Extraterrestrial Highway. You didn't mention the railroad in Ely where you can take a ride on the railroad pulled by a steam locomotive. Nevada is an under-rated state with much to see. It is much more than casinos.
