I was always curious if the needles in dermarolling/dermastamping splits and duplicates the hair follicle. I've plucked hairs that have come back double elsewhere on my body and was curious if this was possible.

Mine own hair growth progress and success, I followed this daily regimen:
Take early morning sunlight daily for vitamin D. Consume vegetables of various colours. Applying paraben-free and fragrance free hair shampoo and gently massaging twice a week with hair oil by litttleextra cooconion. Imp. to keep in mind that hair growth is affected by general well-being as well as circulation and nutrition.

I used a derma pen, and for a few months now, my hair in one spot seems thinner. In that same spot, I once penned myself to where it hurt for about 48 hours, but with no bleeding. Just the sting of inflammation from the jab of the automatic pen. For there to be permanent hair loss via scarring or otherwise, is bleeding a necessity? I have heard that traumatized follicles can come back after many months, which is fine with me, but scars disallow this from being possible.

A derma roller with 0.25mm needles is generally considered too short for stimulating hair regrowth in areas with significant hair loss or a receding hairline. These shorter needles are more suitable for improving skincare product absorption and enhancing skin texture.
For hair regrowth on a receding hairline, it's typically recommended to use a derma roller with longer needles, ideally in the range of 0.5 to 1.5 millimeter.

I bought a Koi Beauty stamp. I stamped my entire head and I only saw some blood up at the front of the crown where my hairline used to be. Sadly, very little is left of the hair. This is the only place I saw any blood. Also, there's a dermatologist recommending a depth of 2.5 ml. That channel is MD Pen Microneedling. I can't even be sure what the depth is on the cheap Koi tool. It spins about .05 before it does anything. Reviewers say that when you push down with it that the needles push back into the base. I didn't notice this myself when I used it. I'm surprised the needles are so fine to where I can barely see them even when they are out. The needles are like the bed of nails that people lay on and then have people walk on them. Or that is what it reminded me of.

Also doctor a question that you could answer to your next video. You said that finasteride at 5 years the ratio falls to 64%.. What if someone doesn't take it for a whole month which is the period required for our body to completely wash out finasteride, will the ratio go back to 89% once start taking it again? If it's the case, would it help if we stopped using finasteride for a month once per year? Another question, let's say that I have a very slight recession on my temples, and judging by my family tree, none goes beyond norwood 3 until very old age. Will taking 1-2mg weekly of finasteride would be any benefit for me? I am personally using minoxidil only daily the last 2 months and my doctor told me that my hairline got better than it was two years ago, I didn't lose any ground. So what would be the best way to maintain my hairline? Topical finasteride + minoxidil, or some low dose of finasteride like 1-2 mg weekly plus minoxidil?

After finasteride stopped working for me, I started using dutasteride once a week and finasteride the other six days. It didn't slow down my hair loss at all, so I discontinued finasteride entirely, and now I use 0.5mg of dutasteride every day. Maybe the once-weekly dose of dutasteride helps some people, but it was too small of a dose to do anything for me.

Are you joking, even a mosquito has a 1mm needle length. Get an adjustable derma stamp, start with the 0.5mm and continue until you see very little dot bleeding, then you can switch to that size of derma roller so the procedure will consume less time and the product is cheaper as well. If you can't tolerate pain, then go with 0.3mm-0.5mm 3 times a week with minoxidil daily for only absorption.

But I've became a bit paranoid after watching a video of a youtuber I'm suscribed to adressing this topic on a personal level. I really can't tell if I'm receding because I've always had this saw like pattern that had random hairs growing separatedly and stuff. My hair shedding is at a total normal rate I'd say even below average. And 95% of my family have pretty good hair genes. But I'm still worried. What should I do?

.50 is a good starting point. In my opinion dont go above 1.5. I did .50 at first and now I am on .75. In a month I will try 1.0. Stay there for a month then try 1.25 for awhile. If its too much I will go back to 1.0. If I can handle 1.5 I will attempt. But in the literature .60 depth once a week. Or when people go above 1.0 its done less frequently like once every 2 weeks to once a month since its deeper. But 1.5 is the needle depth max I have seen for scalp/hair loss studies.

I've been derma tillering 1.5mm for about 6 months sometimes drawing pinpricks of blood not running though.. I've been doing that 1-3 times a week with Minoxodil and also sometimes alternating that with 0.5mm on other days and sometimes just Minoxodil without rollering. Is 1.5mm do you think too deep given I'm getting some pinpricks of blood and the day after can feel like it possibly is scabbing for a day or so slightly.. I continue to massage the scalp daily and apply Minoxodil, I've been applying it just once a day at night after derma rollering as 1ml is not enough to cover so I've been doing 2-3ml once in the evening and massaging thoroughly in scalp after derma rollering or on its own. If I've used 1.5mm needles I won't derma roll for a day or 2 afterwards, (unless it's with 0.5mm needles). I've also not noticed a great deal of change would you advise fenasteride also!?

At 1.5 mm you should only be derma rolling once a week. That's all that's needed also you have to give your skin time to heal. Wait 24 hrs after derma rolling before applying Minoxidil or anything else to your scalp... even shampoo. Just rinse with water if you have blood to wash away.

My hair isn't as thick as it was two years ago, but it's presentable without any cosmetic products. That's a big improvement from six months ago, when my only options were to use Toppik or maintain a guard zero haircut. That's how bad my diffuse thinning was.
