  • HOW MICRONEEDLING WORKS HAIR
    Looking for an aggressive hair growth solution? 💇‍♂️💥 Microneedling might be the game-changer you need! 💯
    ⚙️ Microneedling Device: Acquire a microneedling device with a needle length of approximately 0.5 millimeters. This tool will be your ally in promoting hair growth.
    📅 Frequency: Use the microneedling device two to three times a week. Consistency is key to see results!
    💪 Vigorous Application: Be prepared for a vigorous approach! Gently push the microneedling device into your scalp, ensuring it creates tiny micro-injuries. 🩸
    😣 Discomfort and Bleeding: Yes, it might be uncomfortable, and you may experience some bleeding. But remember, you're creating controlled trauma to stimulate your scalp's rehabilitation process.
    🔥 Combined with Minoxidil: Boost the impact of microneedling by applying minoxidil afterward. The synergy between the two can magnify the results! 💥
    ⏩ The Big Transformation: Witness your scalp and hair respond positively to this powerful technique. 🌱💫
    Note: Microneedling might not be suitable for everyone, so consult with a professional before starting this aggressive approach.

      I think he said 2-3 times per week cuz its 0.5mm.
      Maybe one time in 2-3 weeks if it was 1.5 mm or bigger. But I aint no expert.
      If i was the one doing it. I would do once a week or once in 2 weeks.

      @ it’s not by minutes. You wanna start by one time covering all your scalp and then make your way up to 3 times. Meaning you roll over the same spot 3 times maybe in a matter of 2-3 months you get to 3 applications but you start with one time

    DO NOT MICRONEEDLE BEFORE TAKING MINOXIDIL.

    If you start using minoxidil
    You have to use it for lifelong
    The moment you stop using minoxidil your hair will fall within a few months .

    • @WilliamGaunitzTrichologist
      @WilliamGaunitzTrichologist  6 місяців тому +4

      You're right that committing to minoxidil is often a long-term decision. Minoxidil is a topical treatment used to stimulate hair growth and is most effective when used consistently. If you stop using minoxidil, it's true that the new hair growth may cease, and you might experience hair loss again. This is because minoxidil works by prolonging the growth phase of hair follicles, and discontinuing the treatment will likely return them to their previous state.
      However, it's essential to understand that everyone's hair growth journey is unique. While some people may need to use minoxidil long-term to maintain results, others might find success with different treatments or therapies. It's always best to discuss with a healthcare provider or a trichologist to determine the most suitable approach for your hair growth needs.
      Also, combining treatments like microneedling with minoxidil can sometimes enhance the effectiveness, but this should be done under professional guidance.
      If you're exploring options for hair growth and maintenance, consider taking our hair quiz. It's designed to help you understand your hair better and guide you toward the right treatments and products for your needs.

    ?

    • @WilliamGaunitzTrichologist
      @WilliamGaunitzTrichologist  2 місяці тому

      For selecting a shampoo while undergoing microneedling treatments, it's crucial to choose one that supports scalp health without causing irritation. Given the increased sensitivity and potential for irritation post-microneedling, we recommend shampoos that are gentle, free from harsh sulfates, and enriched with soothing and healing ingredients like aloe vera, peptides, and natural oils. These components can help in calming the scalp and aiding in the recovery process. Always ensure the product is compatible with your scalp's needs and, if possible, consult with a trichology expert or dermatologist for personalized advice. Microneedling, as described, creates trauma to promote scalp healing, so using a mild and supportive shampoo can complement this treatment effectively.

    2-3 times a week is not enough time for the scalp to heal and produce the collagen required to get results, even at 0.5mm. Once a week is sufficient according to many professionals. 2-3 times a week is just going to cause irritation and issues, as you need to avoid such things as sunlight, heavy hair products, sweating, or things that will create infection. Bad advice!

    How are you supposed to disinfect your scalp though?

    • @WilliamGaunitzTrichologist
      @WilliamGaunitzTrichologist  8 місяців тому +2

      Disinfecting your scalp isn't something most people need to do regularly because the scalp usually keeps itself healthy with routine cleaning and the body's immune defenses. However, there are times when disinfecting the scalp becomes necessary, like when dealing with infections, excessive dandruff, or after certain scalp procedures. Here's how you can go about it when needed:
      Antifungal Shampoo: If you suspect a fungal infection on your scalp, like ringworm (tinea capitis), you can use an antifungal shampoo. You can get these either with a prescription from a healthcare professional or over the counter. These shampoos typically contain active ingredients such as ketoconazole, selenium sulfide, or zinc pyrithione, which help treat fungal infections. Just follow the instructions on the shampoo label, and it's crucial to consult a healthcare provider for a proper diagnosis and guidance on treatment.
      Topical Antiseptics: Sometimes, healthcare providers may recommend topical antiseptics to disinfect the scalp. These can be useful for addressing bacterial or fungal infections. Common antiseptic solutions include hydrogen peroxide or povidone-iodine. You should apply these solutions as per the directions provided by your healthcare professional.
