What about Horsetail silica? It’s very popular where I come from, my close family members swear by it, and I take it myself, but I’m not certain if it does anything. As I understand, it dopes you up with the stuff hair is made of. I’m thinking, there is no reason not to give your body in abundance anything it needs to grow hair. But maybe I’m incorrect?
I used to take horsetail but saw no results. The ingredient you mentioned is called silica. But bamboo root extract contains a lot more of it than horsetail. And horsetail contains small amounts of nicotine btw. I take bamboo root extract just for skin and nails as I do believe it has made my skin clearer and nails get stronger. Exactly the same thing is happening to me. I was taking finasteride and it worked very well but after 4 months the hair is flying like crazy, about 300-400 a day. Also, I started taking creatine. 2 weeks ago I changed from finasteride to dutasteride but so far I don't see any change.

@@im_that_guy Abstract Peppermint (Mentha piperita) is a plant native to Europe and has been widely used as a carminative and gastric stimulant worldwide. This plant also has been used in cosmetic formulations as a fragrance component and skin conditioning agent. This study investigated the effect of peppermint oil on hair growth in C57BL/6 mice. The animals were randomized into 4 groups based on different topical applications: saline (SA), jojoba oil (JO), 3% minoxidil (MXD), and 3% peppermint oil (PEO). The hair growth effects of the 4-week topical applications were evaluated in terms of hair growth, histological analysis, enzymatic activity of alkaline phosphatase (ALP), and gene expression of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1), known bio-markers for the enhanced hair growth. Of the 4 experimental groups, PEO group showed the most prominent hair growth effects; a significant increase in dermal thickness, follicle number, and follicle depth. ALP activity and IGF-1 expression also significantly increased in PEO group. Body weight gain and food efficiency were not significantly different between groups. These results suggest that PEO induces a rapid anagen stage and could be used for a practical agent for hair growth without change of body weight gain and food efficiency. Just google ncbi peppermint oil vs minoxidil...note the study was done with mice

can you make a video on if dmso for hair growth! since msm is very popular for hair growth and dmso is practically the mother of msm
Doctor, can you recommend a product for hair regrow
What is the product that you showed in the video?
It is called U Gashee
@@TheHairLossShow that's one of the better products I've ever seen. A bit expensive though. There needs to be more minoxidil products that have all of those great natural additions. Thank you for the reply!

Thanks for the video! Could you make a video about scalp massages? Are there any studies that show that they work?
Don’t even think about thinking about it. Scalp massage is a waste of time
@@Aleph6 So there is this channel called HairGuard, they say that scalp tension correlates with male pattern baldness and that it may be one of the causes of hair loss, so massages may help. They have a video about it called Scalp Massage For Hair Growth: Mega Guide 2020 . They show scientfic research about massages. So it would be great if the doctors talk about it! Cheers
What are your thoughts on Batana oil?
It can help, high in fatty acids
Hey doc, I'm facing severe hair fall on finasteride (MWF) + still having high sex drive! Should I increase my doses?
Or try dutasteride
I like this channel feels like your not selling me something.
can you combine minoxidil with oils ?
I apply minoxidil once every day, microneedle once a week and then apply a mixture of pumpkin seed oil and rosemary oil twice a week. The oils are quite nice since I found in the first week of minoxidil after about 6 days my scalp starts to feel a little dry so applying the oils twice a week stopped this
Is it okay to split a 5mg finastiride pill 4 ways and take 1.25mg monday, wednesday, friday, saturday?
I had to do thatbsince I had very bad side effects from finastride. Eventually I stopped after 1 month.
What is that product you are holding up. Can't see label.
It is called U Gashee
Very nice.... Everyone should try these remedies to keep their hair long and strong... but along with theses currently i am using Go richh hair oil by PLanet AYurveda

I will try them thanks
Thanks for videos on Natural remedies.
Please do help me with my query
Why didn't Saw palmetto breakthrough into your list ?
Doesn't taking a lot of 5 alpha inhibitors affect the systemic DHT levels which are used by many other body sources ?
In such a scenario topical or scalp level 5 alpha inhibitors compared to systemic are better ?
If so do we have any options for that now ?
If you watched the video properly, you would've heard him say that he's already covered saw palmetto previously, and that this list is in addition to that. 3.18😉
Edit, in response to your second query, the natural DHT blockers are not nearly as strong as finasteride, hence you will experience minimal if any side effects taking the natural supps.
For your third query, I would like to hear his response, from what I know, I'd say systemic is more effective than topical, but more potential side effects.
@@imaginova88 thanks for the reply mate

What is the solution he talks about that might help?
If DHT is the real cause of hairloss, how come a lot of teenagers arent bald with enlarged prostates?😮
Inquiring minds need to know.
I was on finasteride for seven months. I ended up getting gynecomastia and had to stop it. After a year off finasteride, half my hair gains went away.
Currently, I'm on minoxidil + microneedling + redensyl + topical saw palmetto + rosemary oil + ketoconazole shampoo. I kid you not, this regime has grown more hair in one and a half months than finasteride grew in seven months! No sides, nothing. I've never been happier.
What micro needling device do you use ?
One of the sides that i'm afraid of, is gynecomatsia! so please can tell me the first signs that you get of gyno ? and when you stopped finasteride, does the gyno go away or stay ? and is there any specific blood analysis that i can take before starting finasteride to make sure if i'm vulnerable to get gynecomtasia from taking finasteride ? because i remember someone tell me that taking (estrogen and endrogen blood test) can help to know if it's safe for you to try finasteride without getting gyno as a side effect

What about baatana oil?
really good information. Thanks for your share.
Could you please do a video on effect of finasteride on beard growth?
Nothing dude. Finasteride does not afect beard. I good or bad terms.
But as far as hair goes, I don't think it does much if anything.
natural therapies are mostly rubbish - the word natural implies its good, but remember DHT is also natural and thats killing your hair
Fin is gods gift 😂 I might dangle around with ingesting castors oil I’ve heard many testimonies of growing thicker hair, but also thicker and coarse body hair

Hi everyone,
i have a question that i want some advice on. I started taking finasteride and minoxidil about 4 months ago and noticed amazing results and a lot of regrowth. after the 4 months mark which is now, i have noticed when i shower or rub my hair a lot of hair falling out a lot more than normal or more than the first 3 months which was virtually none. is this normal or due to something changing in my lifestyle? the only difference i have made was i began to take creatine as i exercise daily.
Exactly the same thing is happening to me. I was taking finasteride and it worked very well but after 4 months the hair is flying like crazy, about 300-400 a day. Also, I started taking creatine. 2 weeks ago I changed from finasteride to dutasteride but so far I don't see any change.
Have heard the creatine can cause hair loss which is one reason why I am choosing not to use it
I've read that your hair goes into a shedding faze after 3-6 months after using finestride and it should stop and get better after 2 weeks
@@milioner55how is it now it happened to me when I started finasteride
@@Kingofkings955 Dutasteride helped. It stopped my hair loss completely.
I recommend that you switch to dutasteride as soon as possible (it takes like 3 months to start working)
Also look into these easily obtainable DHT blockers:
Pumpkin seed oil, beta sitosterol, stinging nettle root.
Definitely add micro needling to your routine, some studies showing its more effective than minoxidil alone. I've recently started using a 0.5mm dermaroller, looking to go a bigger needle size once I'm used to this.
You’re wasting more money trying to make a natural minoxidil. If you want natural than go bald since that’s natural.
What do you use after you have done the microneedle?
@@annan3904 do microneedle with minoxidil, not microneedle alone
Yes your remedies are very good and also chopped onion oil really works with coconut oil
But as doc said, derma roller not for hair loss

@@im_that_guy Abstract
Peppermint (Mentha piperita) is a plant native to Europe and has been widely used as a carminative and gastric stimulant worldwide.
@@charlescook9052 thank you!
I’ve been using peppermint for 2 weeks now, already noticed a reduction in hair loss. On top of that, it feels so soothing resting on my head. It’s like an intense cooling sensation, makes me happy knowing that it’s also providing blood flow to the head. Use in conjunction with pumpkin seed and castor oil and it will work wonders
saw palmetto?
Are you allowed to mention that product? It makes no sense to show it but not tell us. What about Nutrafol?
Nutrafol doesn’t work for hairloss. Is just biotin, saw palmetto, zinc. Just a multivitamin.
If it did work you’ll see people talk about it other than sponsor videos. Not to say it won’t make your hair look healthier but it doesn’t stop Male pattern baldness.
It's BS. Natural remedies are only good if you're still on the fence with Finasteride and still have a good amount of hair.
