This is the cleverest 4WD product I have ever seen. I was looking at getting a traditional winch and bull bar but all up it was going to cost me around $4K installed. For my money this is better. No weight on the front and WAY cheaper. I will definitely be getting one. Cheers!
Make a deep small hole with something like a straight bar, about 2 and half 3 feet if you can get a long rope 25 feet , tie a large knot or weight to one end drop down hole and pack in tight. Its important that you pull the rope flat, it needs to be on ground as much as possible. Then try pulling the rope out. Simmple and easy . You can buy ground anchors but all work on the same principle.
Excellent they used a similar sort of system during the war to pull wagons out of the sort sand as well as sand mats and rails . Soft sand ,like quick sand.
Patrick, what would the scenario be if you had no trees. where I will be going there will be no trees. Could you have used the sand anchors in this case.
Hey, great. Being an ex farmer, I thought of this a while ago, but, you beat me to it. Some improvements? Ok, make a guide ring mounted on the side of the bullbar. Much better than feeding through the moving front wheel! Further improvements? Ok, make a second rope guide in the middle of the bullbar. That way you can use just one rope, (through both guides) centrally located for even pull, AND, you can use just one rope that way. How good is that! You can patent this. All the best. (Now, I want 1 hub kit with just 1 hub please :) Thnx)
BTW, to get my Ford500 heavily bogged tractor out of a hopeless mudhole I used a big fence post strapped to the rear wheel and walked my way out of it.
its a good idea, but it has some serious limitations. theres a reason it hasnt cought on. i see this as more of a diy / in a pinch / on a budget solution than a replacement for a traditional winch. a regular winch is better in every way. would be usefull for getting occasionally unstuck, would not want to use it regularly
An excedllent idea to use in the "road" through the jungle in BR-319 in Brazil. From the city of Porto Velho up to arrive in Manaus (Amazon) is a challenge. See the movies. An adventure of 800 Km with few asphalt but mud for everywhere...
Hello. I would like to inform you. Is this helper bought in Europe also? Tires for pneumatics are universal? I have RENAULT DUSTER. Tire size 216/65 / R16. Thanks for the answer.

There are several problems with this system which he intentionally didn't address. For example, how the rope rubs against the tread on the front tire when the wheel is turned slightly. Rope is elastic. Should the tread abrade that rope, it's going in both directions in a hurry. Very dangerous.
Modern Dynema ropes have overcome a lot of problems , no stetch for a start. I agree with you though. If you know you are going to face such conditions, get the vehicle properly equipped, which makes this superflous.
tollik25 Устанавливается ДО заезда в грязь по стекла, о чем и было сказано. Это называется заблаговременным использованием мозгов, чего тебе к сожалению не хватило.
Genio!!! que idea brillante. Gracias por el aporte. Abrazo desde Argentina!!!
And of course this will work in reverse unlike a normal winch! Very clever 👍
Always dreamt of this type of thing. Well done

Nice try.. it's obvious you're the crocodile hunter in the video
Just back up to the flat part, stand on the gas, and SEND ITTTTTTTTT
Absolutely brilliant.
Sweet. Ill probably make one of my own....
...what are the specifications for the rope ??
Very good idea, why didn't I think of that lol. Usually, the simplest ideas are the best ones. Should work in snow too you would think.
Such simple tools in vehicle should have, so we can escape from muddy or sandy road, thanks for sharing.
¿ Would y’all make em for a 2008 Chevy 2500 Duramax?
Over here in San Antonio,TEXAS .
Where can you pick one up?
great idea. what to do if u don't find any tree or rock?
Sand anchor/

Can you do this on BMW X6 or audi Q8?
Very nice device! Thanks for ideas!
Where can I buy that kits please?
absolutely Brilliant...What would you use as an anchor point in the desert? ..
BRING A SLEDGE HAMMER AND AN AXLE

@@ballardstowingandoffroadre2367 What size boat is your anchor for? And how deep do you bury it?
@@TheRealitarian 25-30ft boat. About 2 feet will pull about any vehicle out !!.
@@ballardstowingandoffroadre2367 awesome...thanks for your time!
Coool system, it's a shame you don't produce them for the UTV market.
Great idea and nice product but I would put a locking rear differential in that vehicle.
looked like a risk of one of the wheels being pulled/spun backwards with the snatch set up if it were open diffs

Donald Roberts Don't go where there are no trees.
Obviously you are still swinging from your tree, dumb joke Desmond
Bury your spare tire or do like me and carry a Danforth Boat Anchor on the top rack!
They don’t deliver where I’m at
Made my own with a spare rim and machined my bolts
Thanks best recovery system
where can i get one
Do you ship and sell to South Africa?
We have got our own version.
Cool idea and concept... but its stud pattern specific, so wouldn’t work across various vehicles...
Only works if you an object to anchor to.

Muito Bom
Used this method, broke an axle. Bought a real winch had no problems...
Good idea but it's an axle and driveshaft killer.
Brilliant
Bom de mais

That’s not a hill I would’ve ever even thought of going up💀
Very cool!
I love a good thick bush winch.
Where to buy it "Einstein" !!!!
Where can I buy one in the U.K.
The best winch

Only half a million problems with these...
Looks way harder than a conventional winch

Wrong vehicle to do that in the 1st place.. Lol..😂
The best
what do you do when all your lug nut break off.
neat product, but in the time it took to get all that ready, i installed a winch on 2 separate vehicles
I prefer a real winch, that takes for ever, before you are out! I rearly want to see how that wofks in mud by rain!
👍👏🇧🇷
Good idea
веревочка уж больно тонкая , бельевая однако
Nice, but too much of a hassle. I'll stick to my bumper winch☺
The air pressure shall be 15 kV
I suggest 12 uF.
A lot of strain on the stud nuts. From bogged to stranded.
That's what I was thinking. You could bend or shear a lug nut.
