Your daughter is so well spoken, has a very appealing nature about her delivery narrating your videos. I could easily see her on CNN, MSNBC, FOX News etc etc or doing work narrating documentaries. She's a natural!!! Love your videos and your focus on family, that's what really matters!!!

For the past couple of months I have been toying with the idea of upgrading to a Jeep Unlimited and do a lot of camping on my long weekends and I have to say that your set up is absolutely amazing. I’ve never seen a side awning like that, nor have I seen such a quality rooftop tent. I will certainly be watching the rest of your series. Cheers!

One day I plan on opening a wrangler. I've wanted one ever since I've been like 4 years old. They're just pretty expensive. And obviously you could use it for multiple things such as how you guys use it as a house

I’m sure that at 17 I would have thought this was cool too but then I grew up and realized how silly it would be to live in a system like this with my wife and children. Lmao. Camping for a couple of weeks - sure. “Living” in this..... grow up dude. Get jobs and provide your family with some real shelter and investment. Give your children some real schooling with social interaction with other kids. This is hilarious for a guy at this guys age.

Hi, thank you for sharing and opening up a world of overlanding possibilities.
I live in Norway (looks like New Zeland) and I also have a Jeep Rubicon 2013 JKU with roof top tent mounted with ladder and opening towards the back of the car, I am werry happy with thats solution.
I want to follow you further, but I have a tip for you.
Don't use that much music in your movies, and remember to smooth out music and speak sound level, so I don't have to use my volume control all the time.
Good luck on your trip and it's really cool to follow you :)
    Best Regard
    Tom from Norway

Folks couldn't clearly make out the winch recovery you did on that van so not sure if you secured the cable to the tow bar itself or the tow ball. Tow balls can become a flying projectiles with a number of folks killed by them over the years here in Australia when winching or snatching and using the ball as a recovery point - so for anyone reading please never use a tow ball for recovery. As I said, I couldn't see clearly on the video but if yours was secured to the bar not the ball, then hopefully this little bit of info may help someone out there get home to their loved ones at the end of the day. All the best with your adventures.

Great work on the build, really epic stuff and a model for anyone trying to get in to overlanding. I wish I could get it all at once, but it will have to be done over time as I save up for pieces of it. I'm struggling where to start though, did you do this in stages? If so, what do you recommend starting with, the upgrades to the off-road components or the overland gear? Also, ball park, how much was the overall build? Thanks, and love the content!! Oh man! we had the same experience with our ARB awning. We had our first major rain while traveling through Mexico and even though we had both legs lowered all the way in pooled up too much and snapped a pole in like 15 minutes. Keeping one leg up and one leg down is necessary. We fixed our awning with a mop handle and it held up to many more bad rains as long as we lowered 1 leg.

When you're cooking, doesn't the smell or smoke get into the tent? What about the bottom of the tent, doesn't it get dirty from cooking?

Hey guys! Love your videos! I have a JLU and I can't wait to get a RTT for mine. With that being said, I have a few questions. Are you able to open the tailgate of your Jeep when you have the annex connected to the Tepui RTT so that you still have access inside of the Jeep from inside the annex? Does the annex have a floor? Are you able to leave your bedding inside the tent when you fold it up for transport? Thanks so much and I look forward to more videos with your new JLU!!

      Joshua Briles -
      1. When the Annex is on the tailgate has to stay open, the way we have it set up. A lot of people have their tent mounted so it opens up on one side of the vehicle or the other.
      2. Yes, the annex does have a full floor.
      3. Yes you can leave your bedding in as long as it’s not too thick. We have a sheet, blanket and two pillows, and that works fine.
Hope that helps. Thanks for watching our videos!

@@EFRT Thank you so much for the reply. I just wanted to be sure that if I purchased a Tepui Ruggedized Autana 3 that I would be able to access inside the Jeep from inside the annex. Thanks again and take care!

Would be interesting and fun to see you trying to sleep in the Northwest Territories! Do you have a small space heater for when it gets much colder than you're accustomed to?
