Finally realistic wing flex since the one of the 737 looked ridiculous. One question: Why did you turn off that lower screen before take off? Great video, thank you!
The wing flex is super! I turn off the lower screen because it isn't used for takeoff, no information on it is used. Like on the 787, we turn off the 'secondary' engine instrument displays after engine start. Thanks for watching!
Non-flush rrivets are just cheaper during manufacturing as you don't have to sink the metal to make space for the rivet head. It`s an extra step that costs labor or machine hours (this part normally is a typical part to be assembled by hand). There is no weight saving. In fact he opposite as more material is there. But we are talking very very very small amounts.
Never worked on them or around them but always been my favourite aircraft. Just such a mean looking beast of an aircraft, cant wait to fly it in the sim and hopefully get a chance to work on them someday.
Having flown LHR to Toronto numerous times on 777s (both BA and Air Canada), I have to say this addon is gorgeous. The PMDG 737 is really good, but they've definitely upped their game here. I don't know if I could compare it to the Fenix because it's such a different plane, but it's definitely approaching those realms of awesomeness. The sounds in particular are a big step up from the 737 ones.
Wish the flaps shake a little bit for its large size. Right now it looks too static compared to all the real life wing view footage. Maybe add that in the later versions
Hi @320SimPilot just want to know if the engine sound authentic to you? Is bit weird during the takeoff roll in the cockpit. What are your thoughts on 777 sound?
