mr delete comments that are helpful to people but don't follow your stupid and dangerous suggestions of lifting a 175KG+ bike by its carry rack with ratchet straps slung over a roof purlin...you even admitted you don't how to do the job of changing the linkage position which is a simple job for anyone who knows how to work on bikes; you've admitted you don't know much about working on bikes yet you offer all kinds of advice to others...even as in this case, dangerous to people and the bike; stick ya cancel culture where the sun don't shine outie; its obvious now all you want is attention and to make money from the channel....bye bye little boy.
just as a suggestion Baz; i would fill in the holes left in the seat where the rubbers once were with an epoxy of some sort; it will save potential wear on the mounts and outies replacement rubber down the track...i still haven't got any news about my MT so i've decided i'm going to wait for the next model; i loved my 04 R1200GS and as fate would have it, looking at the 'net the other night i found an 06 GS with just over 30,000K's on it, just had major service (receipts) and new tyres 2 weeks ago with factory vario (expandable) panniers fitted for less money than the 450MT; 30,000k's on an air-cooled boxer is only just run-in and this one has never been on dirt; i was looking for over Two years for a low mileage, affordable GS that hadn't been abused but gave up and (thought) i decided on the 450MT; so now i'll sell a couple of my vintage/classic MX bikes and get the next version of the 450MT for the shorter, more dirt oriented rides and use the Beemer for the longer rides...and you blokes can let me know any of the problems you might encounter with your 450's....nah, i very much doubt you'll have any issues just thought i'd poke the bear a bit.
@@bazz6670 i deleted my comment because i will not support someone (outie) who is an arrogant cancel culture man child...he's deleted a few of my comments and the last in particular when all i was doing (and all i ever did) was trying to help him and the people he was giving stupid and dangerous advice to...lifting a 175kg+ by the plastic carry rack with ratchet straps slung over the roof purlins of a kit shed....i suggested buying a bike lift for anyone who is planning on working on their own bike(s) as it makes shed life much safer and easier...i can remember the days when helping BEGINNER/NOVICE riders and novice mechanics was appreciated; not the case anymore apparently.
Brilliant Bazza! Outie is giving his MT a decent going over & developing these parts will go a long way in making the MT robust enough. I dare say, hopefully CFmoto will redesign the holes in the seat base so those rubbers stay in place. Subsequently, they could just buy Outies part & use them in place since they stay on the frame! Are you also waiting on crash bars?
thanks for making this, but i wanna ask you, How can you stand hanging jackets and jumpers in the shed like that, i had to gap seal my shed and vermin proof it here in Ballarat cause the amount of spiders and mice that want to turn my jumpers and jackets i had hanging in the shed into their new homes was insane,
same here in the Pyrenees; the spiders don't worry me as much as the mice and rats who make a complete stinky mess out of anything they get into....all the gap sealing in the world doesn't stop 'em out here.
Nice job Barry! Great job Outie!
thanks for the shout out video Bazz, and it's good that its solved the problem for the 450MT. Nice sticker placement too!
@@outie555 they work well, I didn't realise how much my seat was moving.

Looks like a great solution. Nice job Outie555
Thanks Ian they really helped .
Cheers Bazz. I haven't lost my seat rubbers (yet), but it's good to know there's a solution for when I do!
@MalHanson yes great backup to have. Thanks for watching.
You can use rectangular furniture feet sliders!
@@barrysalmon9892 you could do that.

@stevesanelli90 Thanks Steve, I can't see them changing design so Outie will be a winner here, still no sign of crash bars.

LOL, I don't ever see spiders in the shed. I guess don't don't like me.

Or glue them on when you purchase bike.
@barrysalmon9892 I don't think many realized they would fall off , I didn't even know mine were gone until I watched outies video.
manchild outie thinks he is a genius of some sort because he can bolt on accessories to a bike and make a simple part on a 3D printer.
