Mindset is everything. I've had a hard time lifting lately because I haven't wanted to. Then my 5 year old son comes up to me and says "mom, we gotta lift to be strong and get big muscles" 😂 it's amazing how much he loves it and how fun it is for him that he doesn't even have to talk himself into it🎉❤

When Adam talks about his childhood it absolutely breaks my heart. There was an episode where he talked about having the most dirtiest bed sheets growing up and how he appreciates having clean sheets now. You have become a role model and amazing dad/husband despite what you went through! I have a 4 yr old so it hits me when you talk about your childhood.

Setting examples for others is a super power too. You do it for each other, your kids, and all of us, so we can turn around and set examples for our families and friends too. We might never know the extent of the impact that our inner strength and light has on others.💗

I have always hoped to be an example to my friends and family.. been working out for decades and have never been able to get my family and friends on board.. except for my daughter .. she recently got a gym membership and is showing interest.. so good luck trying to set that example.. most people really don’t care 😢

I’m one of those people who started strength training in my 20’s and now I’m in my mid fifties.. I didn’t even realize what a huge benefit I was adding to my life back then when I started.. now I see my friends that I was never able to convince to join me, not being able to go sledding with their Grandbabies and I realize exactly just how beneficial this has been to my life.. I’m going sledding and walking up that hill just fine.. i havnt always been great with the diet but recently decided to not to buy things in a box.. that felt like a sacrifice at first but I’m discovering just how great real food is.. it no longer feels like a sacrifice. It feels like a reward! Appreciate you guys and have learned so much from y’all over the years

Relate to Sal 100% as an immigrant myself. We went through those times, and as a kid it made me so much stronger now and can relate to Adam as well. It made me grow smarter and I took it to grow. Was able to work hard and purchase my own house at 28 without any help. This episode really hit home. ❤

Yes 🙌🏼❤… so relatable about the “privilege” thought process… me and my siblings grew up in a single parent home, poverty (had to work from the 5th grade on- even for school clothes, home didn’t have AC/heat and could see the ground in some places), abuse in the home, etc. We ALL have overcome our childhood and are doing well. Unfortunately, I tried to give my kids better than I had and they are struggling. I’ve always said it is mindset and resilience!! I am so grateful for my childhood and wouldnt change a thing. It’s because of my circumstances that I am where I am today.

The most darkness part of my life was a game changer for me, I had never become a person I'm now if I had not passed through for my fall and consequent hip replacement. I was an ultrarunner, I was running away of myself to not face with my stuff. Now I appreciatte this moments more than anyhting else. The downsides make you stronger when you learn how to learn from them.

I promise you guys… sometimes the topics you guys cover, vibe so hard! It’s like, just what I gotta hear when I’m feeling some type of way.
I feel like I’m on the cusp of my experience feeling like a sacrifice and it morphing into something I enjoy. My parents just got back from Chile and brought back so many treats. I was gifted a bar of sanenuss chocolate. (If you know, you know 😅) in the past I would have eaten the whole thing in a day. I ate some of it, of course it was so sweet and delicious. The next day I woke up with swollen hands. A reaction from the sugar. I had a moment of clarity: I’m sacrificing a healthy me for a moment of enjoyment. NOT WORTH IT!! Even for a delicious bar of Chilean chocolate!! I am learning to apreciate the journey. Thanks guys!!

Finding positive role models willing to pour positivity into him and to be a great role model has been challenging. I am trying hard to be the best support to him and role model as possible. Watching Mind Pump has taught me so much. Sharing the videos and information that you teach helps me to encourage him and support him with solid factual information. I am certain he appreciates that it is from grown, successful, knowledgeable men instead of more stuff from other middle aged moms/women. Hahaha. I have seen him watching a few of the videos separately so I know he is listening. Thank you! ❤
