Not a very useful video. It just shows what visually appears to be a rather messy conglomeration of parts, an this is likely to be more confusing than useful to neophytes. The component values are given without explanation or any notion of how to arrive at them for new 'designs'. Also, many of the values given are ridiculous....that one resistor is NOT 1 '1W' part (looks more like a 1/4W), and there is no need whatsoever to use anything larger than 1/4W. The diodes are given with very high '6A' when 1A parts would work, and the more important voltage ratings are not given. And there are more significant issues that I won't go into.

Bad circuit. No output feedback resulting in VERY POOR voltage regulation.
