I watched this movie endlessly as a kid. I recently picked up a VHS copy online in great shape, and made sure I captured it right away, so I would always have it as a memento of my childhood.
Uploaded for those of you who loved it as a kid, too. Maybe now you have your own little dinosaurs to show it to.
Captured at 25Mb/s DV, 48kHz stereo audio. I apologize for some tracking and glitching from the VHS source. I tried my best to clean it before capture, but some imperfections persisted.

I loved this as a kid. Took me forever just to find the name of it. Even longer to find a good version of it online. Thanks, bro.
Remember watching this back on Disney Channel in the 90's when it came out. It was fun to watch.
This movie is one of my best and earliest memories. I love the song espeacially.
I made it a mission of mine to find and watch old movies I used to rent from the video store back when I was a kid. Thanks for helping me.
ohhh my God!!!! I was obssesed with this movie when I was little, watched sooo many times while I had it on tape, then lost it and couldn't find again until know!!!! thank you thank you thank you!!!!! Brings a lot of great childhood memories.
Trust me, when I was a little kid, I would probably LOVE this move. But now, when you actually think of it as a movie, based on no nostalgia, it's pretty bad. But, it has that cheesiness charm that you can't quite get everywhere.
You're never too old to watch dinosaur cartoons! Look at how many adults enjoy The Flintstones.
Oh my God! I've been looking for this for ages, I remembered it a few weeks ago and I was like "Mum...what was that movie that I used to watch with the dinosaurs and the kids that got sucked into the tv to the land of dinosaurs and the theme song went like "Diiiinosauuurs! DIIIInoSAURS!"? And she was like "Dinosaurs." Yes, thanks, that's very helpful. Thank you for uploading this!
I had the same problem, then I went on a googling spree till I found it. It used to be on the Disney Channel along with other movies that annoying parents would probably complain about nowadays.
Brian Briody I googled search to lol then finally saw a picture and now im smoke a couple and enjoy
This is exactly what happened with me! My conversation was identical!!
just remembered it a while back used to rent this out of the video shop all the time lol
I just remembered this film from my youth, damn its been a long time...
I watched this movie when I was around 8 and I had the biggest crush on the sister! But only when she started wearing prehistoric clothing.
watching this movie about time travel is pretty much like time traveling back to my childhood
I remember this movie! Man this was good times in the day!
I used to watch film over and over as a kid, crazy
I cannot believe I finally found this movie after years of searching for it, and in good quality too! Thanks so so SO much for the upload!
Also... does anyone else think the Dinosaurs cartoon theme sounds a lot like Underdog's theme, or is it just me? Whatever, this movie is great!!
I watched this movie only ONCE! and it was when I found it Blockbuster, that's right BLOCKBUSTERS! And upon finding it again I thank you immensly for bringing back a movie that had been in my mind but I could never ever figure out the title of the movie xD
One of the few things I remember from seeing this on cable back in the mid-90s was that the kids seemed WAY too old to be so excited over a cartoon on VHS. Boy was I right.
Still better than any kid shows that are on nowadays.
having the dinosaurs as the good guys and the cavemen as the villains was a unique twist
Just like the Terrible Thunder Lizards.
@@retroguy9233 but the cavemen weren't bad in that, the dinosaurs just thought they were
I have been looking for this movie for years, thank you, for upload it!
Funny story, I have been writing creative stories since I was fourteen and my first story project was similar to this, but I gave up on it because it was too dumb. Then I discover this movie six years later, realizing what my story would've looked like on film (it was a screenplay when I wrote it). I watched this movie and was grateful that it wasn't accepted and sold everywhere, otherwise I would be embarrassed for life. I'm now writing a fantasy novel, which I'm fully satisfied with and would want to share to the world.
brother had this on video when i was little . use to watch it.. at time i was like 2 couldnt really comprehend what i was seeing so makes more sense now
Well, this is a blast from the past!
So I saw this movie on TV sometime in the mid 90s. And I never caught the title because I came in half way when the kids were already in the TV show. So a few years later I went looking for it and not a single person online (in the very early 2000s could figure out what it was. I swear I thought I'd just dreamed the thing for the longest time.
Hannah Overton I had the same feeling when I saw it on the Disney channel in the mid-90s. It was so weird, so off, and tough to describe. A couple of years ago it popped into my mind and I asked a friend into obscure stuff. Didn't take her a minute to give me the title.
Oh, how far we've come since I was a child. Nowadays, those dinosaur stories would be horrifyingly pornographic and posted on DeviantArt.
I watched this so much when i was a kid, but my mum hated it so she threw it away :(, im so glad ive found it again
Loved this movie as a kid.
It sure beats the Super Mario Bros movie.
20 years later and that orange still looks like the best tasting orange ever
"just to hold his... hand!"
Explicit sexual innuendo in a kid's movie makes me a happy fella.
Oh wow, thanks! I loved this movie too. Best copy I've seen online yet!
Man this movie was AWESOME when I was a kid. I remember recording it to a tape and watching it over and over again. I wonder what happened to that tape.
Thanks so much for this upload!. For a few days I've been thinking of this film and could never remember the name of it xD
THank you so much for posting this. For years the only one I could find was a horrible video transfer!
The music ad the start used to scare me lol and it reminds me off Drop Dead Fred ... the memories from this film give me shivers takes me right back sitting there in the morning with my Nan looking after me while my mum was at work ahhh the SIMPLE TIMES
thanks for the upload i remember chewing the end of my bed watchin this over and over haha
Wow I remember this movie, one of those I watched ove and over...
Dude The Theme song from the show has kept me inspired to look for this movie since I saw it on Disney Channel in 96!
OMG! i've been looking for this movie for forever thank you so much!
being trying to fidn this for years ...thank you!
I nearly watched the movie when I was small. It was on Disney Channel back then.
My grandfather who fought in World War II watched The Flintstones and The Jetsons till the day he died. So the answer to your question is no, there is no age restriction.
just noticed alot of innuendos here and there... BAM! right in the childhood
I was like 7 when this movie came out..god I'm old lol
My first time ever watching this. Was looking for something like Dinosaurs attacking the modern age. Then this popped up.
THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
NOSTALGIA FTW
I remembered that film.
Man, I remember watching this on my crapped recorded off TV vhs haha!
It's weird to think a lot of us are accessing memories that haven't been bothered in over a decade. 0.o
I always thought the coolest thing about this movie was the "Dinosaurs" cartoon theme song, but I also knew from a very young age that it was kind of an "Underdog" knock-off.
They need to remake this...but if they don't(i know they won't) nostalgia never dies
OH MY GOD! I love this movie so much! You ahve no idea how many times I've watched it when I was a kid until.... I've broke the tape by accident....TT.TT That was a sad sad day
ive been looking for this movie since i was like 10 now im almost 19 wow
Oh god, the memories.
My childhood.
This brings back memories... along with quite a few things I don't remember. Seriously, Mick is "almost as handsome as Rex?"
Haha I member watchin this :D I was a 90's baby but my mom had me watch all the eighths movies ;))
omgg, timmmy is ADORABLEE.
Jontron sent me
6:12 Oh look. It's the Underdog theme being shamelessly ripped off. :P
i remember this when i was a kid
omg I remember this movie x)
Ah, memories.
The theme song to the cartoon is catchy.
those nozzles at Blu-Ray.com need to Convert this movie ASAP !
Syrus54 What about DVD or Combo Pack?
I'm fairly certain that Timmy is Max from Hocus Pocus.
This is weird!!! I fucking loved this film when I was a kid. I'd watch it every day for God knows how long. Was trying to think of the name of it for ages. Thank you Wikipedia. LOL
THANK YOOOOOOOOOOOOOU, MeAgen10!
Retrospectively very cheesy as of today (i'm 35), yet i did enjoy this movie a lot myself as a teen when it came out. Plus, the visual effects aren't all that bad for a 90's production with a moderate budget.
Dishwasher, no. Dishwasher, no. Dishwasher, YES.
My childhood
you little horn head xDDDDD best line ever hahahaahah
my nan has this on video, but it was called the dinosaur movie, but this is great
what bothers me the most is that this awsome movie is an 'hidden' movie from disney, and no one knows about it! x-(
classic, thanks
OHSNAP!!!! timewarp to my awesome childhood where me & my frnds would go swimming and then watch this shiz---- @MrAgen10 way to go!!!!
What kind of 16 year old kids would watch an animated cartoon with their little brother
One of these days, people are just gonna get the fuck over the fact that some people enjoy a cartoon that they don't. That day is not today.
Maybe they could make Adventures in Dinosaur city 2 someday ⭐️. Right 🌹?
5:53 the theme song is the best part
Awesome! Thanks for uploading a high quality version! :'D Also...
Why isn't this on DVD yet? :'[
Awesome
Not so great movies from my childhood. Loved this as a kid... What was a thinking? Still fun to watch though.
Sad that the Nostalgia Critic never reviewed this one.
Thank you facebook for guiding me here.
man I had this when i was little and watched it so much some parts were so worn out there was no audio.
So that's how people used to share fanfiction...
I'd rather watch that "Dino-saurs" cartoon.....on cassette even.
HOLY FUCK!!! IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS SHIT FOR SOOOO LONG. I COULDNT REMEMBER THE NAME. this was like my main shit when i was little!! im 22 now
me 2 i loved this movie
hmmm...so the parents apparently made a Multiverse (real and fictional universes) Sliding machine, like from "Sliders".
With a remote controlling the wormhole and everything!
I still get a kick out of this film...although one has to wonder, where did the orange originally go before coming back?
Cool.
2:36 Haa, fanfiction. Even existed way back then.
3:39: "Just to hold his-" please god STOP!
I also agree but it was cool it had fighting in it and it sort of reminds me of the teenage mutant ninja turtles in some ways when I saw this I think I was 9 or 10.
It was on Disney Channel in the late 90s
Why the fuck wasn't Dinosaur City a real animated series??? The premis and lore presented in this show within a movie is far more interesting that the movie itself!
Y'know the only think I remembered about this movie was the cartoon song.
Me too! It was weird, I completely forgot about this movie until today when I heard a song and it the nostalgia bomb hit me! I could hear this song and see the dinosaur in the red jacket. That's all I could remember.
ROAR THUNDER, SPEED OF LIGHTENING! UNDERDOG! ...... wait ..... @_@ they sound so similar, except for the BOOMCHAKA LAKAKA.
THIS MOVIE
@Amoxil500MG
Same, it was so hard to find cause i couldnt rember the name, but found it in the end :)
THUNDERIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING
