EVERY time i tried to tell someone about this movie, they'd look at me like i was crazy. thanks for confirming that i didn't imagine this whole thing! i used to rent this & the Prehysteria movies over & over. gooood times.
Prehysteria descriptions get me very similar looks
...okay, but, while we're here with movies no one's heard of: the Super Mario Bros. Movie? Warriors of Virtue?? Mom and Dad Save the World???
That one movie about a tiny world under a kitchen sink that I will never remember the name of and will haunt me til I die??
Thunderen !
Yo same. I’ve been talking about this for a while. I was starting to believe I imagined it.
Me too 😅
I'm so glad this exists and wasn't just a crazy fever dream.
honestly same XD
I almost freaked out when I came across this, honestly. I completely forgot about it.
Right this and story book I have them on vhs I remember they all were like made by the same company and were not bad movies really good as a kid and still not bad
You beat me to it
Fun fact for these folks, the man who designed the dinosaurs in “Adventures in Dinosaur City” (John Criswell) also went on to do “Theodore Rex”, “Dinosaurs”, “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie.”
He also has done some horror and sci-fi films like “Re-Animator”, “Bride of Re-Animator” and “Predators.”
i'd almost chalked this up to a dream and stopped believing it existed. thank you /b/ and youtube for making me a believer once more.
tHaNk YoU fOr MaKiNG mE a BeLIeVEr OnCe MoRe. 🤡😂
I only remember seeing this film once at daycare during the 90s growing up. The 90s was unforgettable, precious, it was forever. Back than, the whole dinosaur popularity craze was at it's highest. Everyone loved dinosaurs. The 90s, dinosaurs and growing up as a kid back than is something that'll be in my heart forever.
Holy cow, I watched this on the Disney channel as a kid. I could never remember the title of the movie, until today. Gosh, does this bring back memories.
Use to love it. An amazing time to grow up.
PrincessofBirds357 So did I. I even used to rent one of those on one of the once standing Blockbuster stores. Rumor has it that it was released on DVD as an uncut version on EBay.
Finally found this! I was about to go crazy. Now my head will just explode from nostalgia.
"Way before turtles" gee i wonder what are they referencing
I kno right? Turtles existed in the time of the dinosaurs.
Not teenage mutant ninja TURTLES
And the dumb thing is that turtles were around a LONG time ago. Turtles existed at the same time as some of the dinosaurs.
I cant wait to get stoned and watch this movie.
Grow up moron
grow up moron
I just got stoned and watched it. Farout it brang back spin out memories 😵
dude I remember watching this on the VCR!! Haha I used to love it!
What the hell is a V.C.R!?!?
James Goobs Its like a dvd player but instead of playing dvds it only played vhs cassetes, they were mainly used in the 90s and early 2000s
whats a VHS????
Miriam Lee and in the 1980s they had VHS cassettes back then!
I'm totally being facetious also. :) I'm a 90s baby..Well technically 89, but I was congnitive throughout the 90s.
YES! YES! I'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR THE NAME OF THIS MOVIE OR YEARS! I can finally sleep again.
OMFG the top two comments perfectly describe the reason I looked for this movie and the journey I've taken to get here. GLORIOUS!!!
lol, my pops was an extra in this movie......
The shaggy haired cave man in the center, time code 2:06 lol
That's awesome. This was one of my favorites as a kid.
@@kmn4200 you’re famous dude
I knew I didn't imagine this weird storyline
I could never remember the name of this film and I would watch it all the time as a kid! Pop the VHS in the VCR, popcorn, candy and sit on the floor with pillows and blankets. I used to use twizzlers as straws lol
I used to rent this movie all the time when I was a kid!!! Great memories =D
I was so entertained in the 90s I swear good times
I believed this movie to be a meth, a figment of my imagination thank God I found it 😀😀
Holy cow! I finally found it. I remember watching this in elementary school.
I wish I could get this on dvd. I remember me and me sister watching this in the living room of my parents old house. Warm memories.
Dishwasher? Yes!
Holy Crap! I've been looking every where for this trailer! Brings back memories!
Believe it or not bit as i was a kid, i owe this on VHS! An original VHS! And i fucking loved evry minute of this hilarious movie! Who brings me back this old feeling of loving evry stupid shit just because theyre dinosaurs in it ?
i have been looking for this movie my entire life. anytime i brought it up to anybody, they never knew what i was talking about. now i know it wasn’t a fever dream
This was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid, they left the end open for a great possible sequel and yet they didn't follow through with it
Good. Lyle can rest now.
I woke up today with the theme playing in my head, I have no idea why, I’ve not watched it in years.
It’d odd but I can still remember the music to this movie haha.
I may still have it on video somewhere; I may root it out & watch it for the nostalgia factor.
haha, she's looking for somebody who's supposed to be "getting off."
Yeah we got the joke, you moron
"Do you want to see dinosaurs or not?" is such a great refutation.
It was a biggest hit, by any measure.
"Long before there were....*turtles*"
And the lamest line of the year award goes to....
"Destined to be the *biggest hit in 50 million reptilian years!*"
Not with that trailer its not!
+Grant Milham
And then Jurassic Park came out two years later. :P
Jeez, they were greenlighting everything back in the 90s. I wish I had been a struggling screenwriter back then... could've gotten my teenage guy and talking psychic dragon pal road-trip coming of age comedy to the big screen.
unlike today when there are no big movies based on a original idea
Honestly, why have they ever stopped making '80s/early '90s movies? ;-) Maybe you'll get your chance one day. I'll keep an eye out for that story.
NeologicNinja I’d watch it.
Shut up and take my money
Omg, I LOVED this movie growing up 😃
Still own this on vhs. I watched this movie over and over and over when I was about 5
reminds me of the tv show dinosaurs and never heard of this film
My childhood was awesome. I remember watching this on VHS as a kid and all this time . I couldn’t remember the name of it until now. 🙏🙏
I love those '90s trailers, and '80s trailers, and 70's trailers...
Yeah.... That's it.
:)
I'm born 1986.
:D
OH MY DAYS!!!! I have been looking for this for aaaagggeeess!!!!!! Huge child hood memory. We had it on tape but then someone taped over it 😑 So happy 😂
I used to love vhs tapes and recording movies and shows but it did suck when someone would record over stuff lol
I miss the 90s so much!
I used to have this on VHS. Absolutely loved it as a child.
Took me an age to find it, as it was released as "Dinosaurs: The Movie" in the UK.
I tried Google, but searching for '90s dinosaur movie' only ever returned Jurassic Park lol.
oyy my brothers and i used to watch this a lot when we were kids... brings back memory! hahaha
I finally found the title of this movie. I googled movies of dinosaurs. Then google came up with "top 10 worst dinosaur movies of the 90's". I loved this movie as a kid. I'm going to buy on dvd.
I've spent years trying to find the name of this movie, I was starting to think it was a fever dream I had when I was a kid, lol. Finally found it!
this literally looks like something you'd see on tv at 2 am on a Saturday night
I can't believe I was addicted to this movie as a kid! This is such early 90's cheese!
Oh the sweet memories with this movie! I remember watching this all the time whenever it would be on TV. I wonder if they would ever remake this movie?
Oh the innuendo at 1:45..... lol
Man I loved this movie as a kid!
Had this on VHS. I wish I still did.
Man, movie trailers sure have changed.
Used to watch this daily with my vcr i still remember the box art lol I was like 5 but yea haha
The thing that hurts the most is that the memories of these films are really cool. The 80s and early 90s had a lot of great fantasy movies with cyborgs and dinosaurs and barbarians (which have something to do with the nipple bleeding muscle head. The closest resemblance I know would have to be the Barbarian Brothers or the Guitarist for Alice Cooper). I almost want to plagiarize the stories so that the real filmmakers can sue me, and then I can finally track down their films once and for all!
I know this is old, but I legit think this is a great idea and hope you are having a great day if you ever see this xD
I was OBSESSED with this movie when I was younger. Haha. Always remembered it but forgot what it was called.
Oh man, I actually remember watching this so many years ago. And this got a video game adaptation as well! How about that... Couldn't at all remember the name of this until this video.
I played the SNES game at a friend's house, and for years I had no idea there was a movie until I found it in a video rental store in like, 1996. It was so bad I never even bothered to finish watching it.
I own this on VHS! Imho, the best movie ever aired on Disney Channel.
Childhood memory unlocked
I use to have this movie on VHS, I still remember the dinosaur prostitute asking if they are looking for action lol
Oh Man. I forgot about this movie!!
Oh my god! I have been looking everywhere for the title of this movie. I finally found it! Yes!
fuck yeah this movie kicks ass, i remember my mom randomly buying it from Costco yeaaaars ago
i was always somehow attracted to rex when i was younger
Well, he is attractive.
O.M.G!!!! i used to loooove whenever this movie was on TV like on Disney Channel! yes! Disney Channel! hard to believe i know! they actually played some good stuff back in the 90s!
Man, this movie was so awesome when I was kid.
I used to love this movie when i was a kid, along with the series Dinosaurs.
I had dreams about this movie whenever I thought to hard about this. Could not think of this. FOUND IT FINALLY YES!!!
Oh my God, I totally found it! And I miss it something fierce!
i loooooved this movie. i wish i could see it again!
The Whole Movie in One Trailer!!!!
Cheap 90s movies in a nutshell
@@pepepepinazo9694 More like every single movie trailer in the past decade in a nutshell, there’s tons of trailers from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 2000’s and 2010’s that pretty much spoiled their own movie.
1:41 - "Y'know, for kids!!"
Dinocity is a game!!
I remember when I thought this was the best thing ever and watched it all the time. Isn't that the kid from Eerie Indian? nostalgia overload!
Sweet fancy Moses! I can't believe anyone else remembers this movie, but I guess there were plenty of people buying abominable straight-to-video movies back in the 90s.
Brings back memories
Turtles has been around since the triassic.
For years I didn't remember the name of this movie or knew anyone else who had ever even heard of it, and the only thing that stuck with me and drove me insane trying to remember what it was from was the one stupid line, "Great, I'll bring the marshmallows!"
It took me over ten years.
I love this movie
hahahah I did the same exact thing, I honestly started to believe that I imagined this movie.
holy shit! i had forgotten all about this!
Brings back so many memories. Also, there is a good song right at the end credits that I cannot find ANYWHERE
Exellent.
Motion seconded dude,count my vote!
Dinosaurs really knew how to party.
i remmber this....it was wierd beyond weird....but one of the fun ones to watch :)
yea same here, except I had the theme song stuck in my head, and didnt know where it was from till now XD
I’m so happy I remembered this I had dreams and memories of this and I was dying to figure out the name😂😂
I had memories of this movie as a kid and I could never remember what it was. Now I feel like i have completed a unnecessary part of my life. Thanks youtube. I'm also looking for a old movie where a kid finds out his parts are creatures or maybe bug creatures and maybe eats people idk I just have a memory of a really weird movie like that in my head. If anyone has any idea what it's called let me know. Thanks
+Brad DaddyBastard heres some movies u might remember , munchies, prehysteria, there was 1 movie where his step mom is a creature or something, its called my stepmom is a cant remember the last part, and meet the applegates or w/e they were aliens that ate people, the name is something like meet the applegates. I was born in 88 i miss all those movies. If you like horror i loved puppet master movies as a kid but gthe my stepmom is or the applegates movie might b the 1 your lookin 4

Metal220 I know this is 7 months old but the first movie you were talking about it's called stepmonster I remember watching that movie when I was little

same fuckin' here! last time I saw it like 15 years ago and couldn't think of the title :)
childhood memories
OMG i used to own this movie on VHS XD i wounder if i still have this...
Funny story, I have been writing creative stories since I was fourteen and my first story project was similar to this, but I gave up on it because it was too dumb. Then I discover this movie six years later, realizing what my story would've looked like on film (it was a screenplay when I wrote it). I watched this movie and was grateful that it wasn't accepted and sold everywhere, otherwise I would be embarrassed for life. I'm now writing a fantasy novel, which I'm fully satisfied with and would want to share to the world.
Oh shit! I had this on VHS at the time. I've been racking by brain all week to remember what the fuck it was called and eventually found it on a Google hunt.
I thought this was a fever dream.
This movie was corny out the wazoo, and every self-proclaimed "movie critic" that has seen this movie has called it a load of s**t, but in my prepubescent years, this movie was ectasy, and awesome enough to keep my attention for an unheard-of 88 minutes. I saw this more than I saw all the Star Wars movies combined, times three.
ok, someone, anyone. send this to the nostalgia critic fast!!! he has to review this!!!
I remember watching this movie as a kid and realizing, for the first time in my life, that a lot of time and money can go into a film, and it can still really, really suck. Woof.
Still though: dinosaurs. Dinosaurs always help.
I never what this movie was called until now. Of course, I had a feeling this seemed familiar when I found movie clips of this.
I came here because a SNES game is apparently based on this film.
Hey! Same reason I'm here, SNES drunk did a review of that game, and someone on the comments say it was related to this movie.
That’s how I got here.
THIS MOVIE NEEDS A DVD
all the kids like be it has scared
80's you so cray-cray
im thinkin of it...
Oneyplays?
