In this case, it makes sense since it’s wet compacted dirt. Also, it’s worth mentioning that the physics doesn’t match the visuals you see on the screen. In other words, the tail swings a lot visually but in the physics engine it still has grip

Yes this is why I have uninstalled it ! I haven't the remember of this kind of sensation on dirt 3....
There's nothing more satisfying with a racing wheel than driving an old rear wheel drive car where you spend more time counter steering then actually steering into the turn.

My favorite car in the game. The sound-and the RR layout. It’s dead stable going straight, but managing that back end is such a glorious challenge-the pendulum right on the edge of snapping around!

What's harder to control than Group B rally car? Group B RWD rally car, like this one!!
For me AWD ones are harder to control, because of their insane power they have. RWD ones are still more reasonable, but in AWD category they well full madness. Lancia 037 is relatively easy to control compared to AWD monsters.
@@Janshevik Lacia 037 is very easy to drive, but Opel Manta 400 is the easiest (for me)!!
@@madmatt9946 yeah, although lancia was almost impossible to drive with keyboard in DR1. Manta may be easier because engine at the front and maybe less HP

@@madmatt9946 Yeah I genuinely think tha Manta is one of the best cars to try for people who are looking to ease into RWD really in this game for the first time. It has such a long wheelbase which makes it very stable and easy to catch slides.

This is first I've seen this game. Looks amazing; most realistic looking racing game I've seen. At start I literally thought it was a real life video and thought I misread/misunderstood title, but then saw the peoples' animations were just a bit jerky for real life, then looked closer at their faces, and realized I was fooled!
Must not have seen that many racing games then lol I can name 5 right now that look better in terms of environment, cars, weather, etc.
You must have overlooked the UI and the top right camera view aswell. Doesn't really speak much of your attentionlevel to the detail :D
Truly is a fantastic game. Looks and feels like no other

@@Fakumanygy it's possible to play on a controller fairly well, but I find it harder to stay straight with one that driving on a wheel

The 911 was the king of sound in Group B IMO.
Investing in an awesome racing sim setup like this and then playing with an external camera view is like training in French cuisine and serving your food with ketchup.
Its like serving Lobster with Brown Ketchup.

Damn good run! I don’t have a steering wheel or pedals. But I put up a damn good run ( for me ) in an Opel Adam R2. So far my major demon is the real wheel drive cars. If you’ve ever used a controller on this game before I would appreciate any pointers and tips you could give me concerning settings. Thanks for the video!

This game is difficult with a controller with all assists off I couldn't even imagine a wheel it would take me more time then I'm willing to give to be great at using a wheel in this game. Although it would be fun

Pro drive sim
How can you enable "parking"? Like in Dirt 4. My game takes away my car control as soon as I reach the finish line, I don't have the slow down part :(
Make sure you don’t do it in time trial mode. I’m pretty sure it only takes control away in that mode.
Use the Custom Championship mode
