- I just want to say thankyou to everyone who has been involved in this incredible journey. My parents, who were always here for me if I have issues, my best friend, who taught me what true friendship is, my grandparents, who would always be there even though they are like, really old and could just relax, my favourite UA-camrs, big shout-out to Jimmy Broadbent, for his THICC and JOOCY Nurburgring laps, life of Boris for his funny Slav videos, and Lando, Charles, Alex and GEOOORGE!, for their hilarious streams, Joona P, for having some memorable moments, also Konig and Eagleizer, the TI Rally School, for teaching me to tame the Escort, Sebastien Ogier, who wished me luck and was a great guy even though he didn't have to, my Dad for getting me into rally, Colin McRae (Bless his soul) for creating the DiRT franchise, and my subs too. it's a trackmania level shortcut lmao, getting the car to jump that high at that specific point isn't easy, it barely makes it and saves alot of time, amasing risk

The gap jump at 5:55 is the most insane shit ive seen so far in this game!

That's what I thought but that's not always the case. Sometimes slowing down 0.5 of a second let's you shave off 1 second on the next section.
Admittedly I'm not smart enough to know if that's the case with him. Or really anyone. I've just implemented it at times with myself and seen results.
@@visibletoallusersonyoutube5928 I think the guy in second is probably faster than him but on the last part of the stage he took insane risks which the guy in second didn't take. In fact, the only thing separating them is when he used voodoo magic to summon the ghost of Colin McRae at 2:25.

They should implement dynamic co driver voices. That would take the realism and fun to the next level. Especially it feels too robotic on the runs like these extreme. Like the co driver is reading it's stuff at home, on his sofa, while dripping his coffee. There is no excitement of the stuttering due to extreme forces.
It's impossible to talk like this after landing from a huge cut jump, or with the gforce of that high speed turns.

It's an awesome run and congrats on the time. But if someone wants me to explain why DiRT Rally 2.0 isn't the best or most realistic rally game that's the video I would someone. That is no where near driving a real rally car.
Its just meant to be a fun representation of rallying , its up to you how much sim equipment you use to make the expiernce more real. Id say it does a good job at striking a balance between fun and realism. regardless this run took alot of skill and a little bit of luck it sure is impressive!

thats what i mean when i say the game strikes a nice balance between realism and gamifying rallying. You can push things alot farther in a video game than real life especially when the damage is so forgiving.
@@nia.d3356 I agree with you, it's a game and all that and I enjoy it as well. I just play more WRC 9 in which a run like this is also not possible.
Go look up clips of old or even more modern but modded 'Richard Burns Ralley' that game probably takes home the cake in terms of best/most realistic sim for ralley racing
Now I know my I'm so far from the record! I made the mistake to keep the wheels mostly on the ground! This was more like plane flight with some touches to the ground.
2:50.250 is a neat number
