Thank you so much for this video! Most videos only show how to take apart and clean leaving me confused how to put it back together. Your video is a complete start to finish! Much appreciated!!
I enjoy the fact that you are discussing everything in detail. I'm hoping you'll start showing what cleaning process you use in your films. Thank you for sharing your wisdom; you have gained a subscriber.
hot soapy water (dash soap) a bit of disinfectant (flash antibacterial) and for the bits you can't get wet I use a product called elbow grease multipurpose cleaner. that's all there is to giving it a good scrubbing so it comes up clean. hopefully this helps you out. any other questions please ask 🙂
the battery is the same internal but the case is different across the modles you can buy a 9000mah battery for the v6 and that's what the v8 came with.
Thank you, I found your Video very informative and it helped me strip down my neighbours Dyson 7/8 but there's a displaced red plastic flap in the bin section and I can't work out how it is fitted? can you help with that please
unless it's got something stuck behind it and not opening I wouldn't try to remove it. it's all built in to the part the wand goes into and that's all clipped onto the dust bin with the wires running in for the brush bar. it's all on clips as far as I remember.
The back filter on my V8 Dyson is blue and comes of with a little twist. Inside is a pleated paper filter that doesn't look like it can come out. Does anyone know how that should be leaned?

Thank you very much for directing me to this video, and for for very clear explanation of how to properly clean the Dyson. Works great again!!
Glad it was helpful!

That’s fab. Thanks so much :) Is it possible to upgrade the V6 to a V8 battery also?

had same problem but after looking at it there is a grove that it fits into once establised that all was good
Any suggestions if it’s still doing it after all these steps?
Even with nothing attached to the handle apart from the battery, it’s still stuttering
where's the link to your amazon store with the V8 battery?
Would u know v8 battery compatible with v7 dyson complete
no very slight difference between the 2 but you can get a extra large capacity battery for the v7.
A problem I have with my v8 is that I'm getting shock from the charging port when I'm using it. Is there anyway to fix that problem?
I think you are getting a static shock as the unit doesn't give out enough power to shock you but static electricity will.
@@FINDITFIXITRESTOREITBUILDIT I'd thought so, thanks for conforming.
Ty for explaining it to me
I was looking for the battery link in your description? I am cautious about buying some Chinese piece of junk.

your model has the later hepa filter fitted, dyson released the filter issue and on the later model made it changeable like yours.
Where’s the link to the battery?
