Love my new Low Rider S. Smooth ride. I did get rid of that heavy breather first thing. It was in my way. No regrets for me. Like you said I was coming from the Street Bob and the 5 gallon tank was a biggie for me as well as the motor and the inverted forks. Love it.
That stupid akward looking breather is the only thing I don't like about the new 2022 version. Everything else is awesome. Does it make any difference preformance-wise without the breather?
@@tinman3586 they put the screaming Eagle on mine as part of the deal to sale me the bike. That breather is definitely in the way. Can’t stretch out with it
I owned 2017 Street glide 2020 Lowrider S 2021 Road King special 2021 Road Glide special and now 2023 Lowrider S . I feel you on the weight and size. I'm happier now with my choice.
I own a 2019 HD RK and the wifey rides a 2020 Sport Glide. Both bikes are tricked TFO. Both have their pros and cons. You can check them out in a video I did. I traded a 2016 Street Glide in for the Road King and have zero regrets. I’m an old school kind of dude but only 42. I like the wind in my face and don’t really care for all the wiz bang stuff. I don’t need my bike to tell me where to go. Defeats the purpose IMHO. Nice bike bro. Congrats!
I dig your transition in Bikes. It is quite interesting that you have a separate page for guns, because I am rebranding and was contemplating whether to merge bikes and gun content or not. U kinda helped me there also, so thanks. The low Rider is a good choice, I've really been thinking about the Chief Bobber Dark Horse, but.... We will see.

Awesome video .... change to forwards control's & exhaust ... make's the 100 time's better I've got same but in black saddle bag's ... leather pros panniers ... there soft but quick release and can lock them to the bike
Congratulations on the new bike. I have a 2020 Lowrider S and I like it. But since day 1 it has had a transmission issue when downshifting slowly and my local dealership refuses to even admit that the problem exists. I hope that you have better luck than I have.
@@HegshotRides When down shifting slowly it will fail to engage the next lower gear feeling like I'm pushing down on a marshmallow. It's only when down shifting and lifting my foot off the lever quickly that it will engage the next lower gear.
This really caught my eye. I’m currently riding my Kawasaki 636 that I love but I’m kinda ready for something that is more comfortable on longer rides and commuting to work. I’ve been looking hard at the street and road glides then I saw the 22 low rider S and thought damn, that 117 on a nimble but comfortable bike could give me a bit of both worlds. It looks like such a awesome bike but I haven’t been able to find one at a local dealer that I can sit on and get a feel for.
I have a 2020 Street Glide Special in River Rock Denim just like you did, and I enjoyed watching your videos for exactly that reason, but it will be interesting to get your opinion on making the switch. I love the new Low Rider S, but I don't think I'd make the trade. I'll be tuning in to get your long-term thoughts on it. I also watch your gun videos. Keep putting out great content!

That looks like the factory Sport Glide seat. Fits on the LRS perfectly. Have that seat hanging in my garage. The Sport Glide left a year or so ago for a 2020 Road King Special. Seat is available if you are interested. Take care.

I'm 5 ft 10.. I put mini floor boards on mine. Helped me be able to change footing a bit. 6ft plus I would do forward controls though. I'm very happy with it
@@mikeessary4925 I am 6' 1" and just test rode the 2022 lowrider ST Today.. I felt extremely cramped. I then test rode a road king that had forward controls and it was a night and day difference in comfort. Perhaps if the lowrider ST had forward controls and a better seat it would have been a much better experience for me. I took the bike up to about 60mph or so and could still feel a good amount of wind as well. Perhaps it was just because I am tall. But I didn't feel the love for this bike that others have expressed.
I traded in my road glide for the 22 lowrider also it's just more fun at the end of the day lol do urself a favor check out thrashin supply handle bar bag off revzilla its the perfect fit n holds keys phone wallet insurance etc
Not a fan of the bags that come on them and the radio can be added but not stock. So, I add my own storage setup, get the fairing and a radio setup for cheaper considering the markup on bikes right now.
It is a Compact amplifier, no radio, Connects to your mobile device via Bluetooth to play stored or streaming audio through a pair of built-in two-way speakers.
Nice decision. The LRS will be much more enjoyable for commuting. My Road King Special is my go to for long distance rides. My Indian Scout is my commute choice. It is much more enjoyable to handle a 600lb set-up in day to day traffic. The nimbleness and the power to weight is a lot of fun also. Take care.

I was stuck between a low rider and street glide last year, I bought the lrs. It just fits my riding style better and I love the look.
Commuting/Touring: Road King Special. Nimble, lighter in the steering than the glides, retain your bags. Great bike.

Yo I ride a softail with a 128 and similar enough setup. Bro a sissy bar setup and duffle is SOOOO GOOD for commuting and touring 😊

For me the low rider s is the perfect bike. Its faster you can make it a touring bike with RT fairing and bags. Good choice!
