Kingquad Pre-Ride Check

Dukeboyz garage ep 1: Kingquad pre ride check, Just a quick video of what I check before going on along ride or trip. In this case I was going to Minden, Ontario Canada. I know i said i was going to change the wheel bearing, but found out later that the rim was a little bent. the wheel bearing still has a little play, but i took a chance and rode it anyways. I also changed the oil and diff fluids.
Things I check:
wheel bearings
a arm bushings
front and rear brakes
front and rear drivetrain
air filter
oil
diff fluid
wench
tires
snorkel
rad and fluid

I used to do the maintenance/servicing every 6 months, now I do it just once a year. Front diff oil, (75W90) rear brake oil, (Kubota UDT) Rotella T6 Syn 5W40 motor oil, Dot 4 brake fluid every 2 years. I also installed the ZERK mod on all the suspension components and grease up once a year. Zero play in the bearings now. No water can get in there to rust out the kingpin and sandpaper your nylon bearings. 10,000KM on both my 2005 Kingquad 700's. Frankford Ontario.

Nice to see videos like this. I just got back into atv's and picked up a 2009 KQ 750. Trying to free up some time to do a really solid overhaul on the bike. It's 10 years old and most people don't care about their machines so in sure it will appreciate it. Thanks for the video, I'm in Ontario as well. Hope to find some good trails in my area this summer.

Drennan Rutherford congrats on your purchase. Wish there was more of an aftermarket for kingquad parts, oem parts are soooo expensive. If your looking for some good trails the hatva have some pretty awesome trails. Thanks for watching and the positive feedback 👍👍

I do have a question. Have you even changed the fuel filter on your Bike? I want to do mine but I'm having trouble finding the right one to replace the little tea bag that comes with it from factory. Hard to find apparently.

Drennan Rutherford I haven’t replaced mine yet, I found one on eBay www.ebay.ca/itm/Fuel-Filter-Suzuki-LTA-450-500-700-750-King-Quad-2008-2015-/143219919413. I’d check the dealership to see if there is much of a price difference.

rzl07375 thanks, the rims are msa battle and the tires are pit bull growlers. The tire do well in almost everything except deep mud.

Fronts are 26x9r12 and rear are 26x11x12. You have to add an inch and a half for the lug.
