For the Love of God Altitudes And then Through the fire and flames Master of puppets and a revisit of (another) Moonlight sonata for her technical accuracy: ua-cam.com/video/xB9l4U2D1rc/v-deo.html
Musicality of the charts, more than You or Gary Moore could reach, in fact more than all of us. Technically Tina has proved BEYOND DOUGHT to match them all, EVEN THE VERY BEST. WHAT DOES THIS ALL MEAN. 1 At this time I believe Tina had some purity of heart. 2 Without intension, Tina has not only challenge us all, she has put us is our place. 3 Tina has brought us all to the point of truth. 4 Even BACH BRAMS LIST MOZART etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. technically THE BEST. Could not show this controlled emotion. 5 The only one I can think of is Beethoven. 6 Tina S. 7 Grace and Much Peace Tina.
@@PJAlphaMusic- I don't think you've done her covers of Vai's 'For the Love of God' and Becker's 'Altitudes'. These are my other two favourites; and run very close to this cover, for the number one spot.
Definitely agree. My favorites because of the musicality are For the Love of God, Altitudes, and this one. The rest are more technically oriented and also help showcase that she can play just about anything.
And she is still a teenager and plays most of that without even looking at the guitar. She has been playing since she was a toddler though and learned classical first. None better than Tina S.
Incredible musicality. The more discerning recognized it and commented on it when Tina uploaded this cover; but, like most of her work the discerning comments were buried in the jealous and ignorant. I'm so happy to experience the new appreciation. To me, this cover is the loneliest "Loner". It is the one that convinced me we were dealing with a very special talent.
It is such a pleasure to have a reactor who knows something musical instruments and how they are played. Most reactors think a tonic chord is something to drink. Yes Mr. Music I agree, this and her rendition of Altitudes have more of 'her' in them.
The amount of feeling she creates with this song is fantastic. This is my favorite cover of Tina's. You can't play a Gary Moore song correctly without over the top feel, and Tina nails it. She is so good at everything she plays, it's unbelievable. Plus, her ability to play across different styles of music so beautifully, and with the appropriate feeling, is awe inspiring! Classical, Rock, Blues, Metal, Progressive, and finger-style, all excellently played. How can anyone honestly not rate her as a top guitarist? She has music in her soul, and many people are addicted to her song covers. Her covers are often better than the originals because she adds a little something of her own to each one she plays. I think she will always be near the top of my list of great guitar players!
That hand position maybe suits her vibrato for this one? We don't have Gary with us anymore so I hope Tina is really back and we get to see her play this live! My favourite upload of hers by some distance and they are all phenomenal.
💯 I agree with you completely. I'm not sure if you have reacted to her cover of Steve Vai's 'For the Love of God', but if not, you should. Another amazing demo of her musicality and incredible 'feel'. Mastering technique, is not an indication of musicality. Tina S has both
Tina S. has just resurfaced after six years completely off the grid. Fans had been speculating what happened to her. No new clips yet but we are all hoping. She appears to have a band. And yes, this is one of her best; my other favorite is her Jason Becker cover.
Tina SETKIC INTERVIEW : ---- QUESTION : Why did you choose the french VIGIER Excalibur Special Mysterious Green? *** TINA : I chose this guitar because it suits me perfectly. The Excalibur Special meets all my technical criteria in addition to having a dream aesthetic, with the neck, pickups and woods combined, it's just the complete package. ---- QUESTION : What are the biggest changes from your Excalibur Custom? *** TINA : For the neck, the huge difference lies in the feel of the fingerboard. I have indeed opted for a rosewood fingerboard for my Special and the sensations of touch are very interesting. The bridge is also changed, the tuning stability is simply brilliant, the ease of use is also a winner compared to the Floyd Rose of my Excalibur Custom. The big difference is in the microphones. My Custom is mounted in Seymour Duncan while this new Special Mysterious Green guitar is mounted in DiMarzio. These are more aggressive microphones, which punch more and I like that. In short, a lot of things have changed between the two models! ---- QUESTION : Why Vigier? *** TINA : Vigier is above all a brand of guitar of exceptional quality. Each model produced has specifications that we cannot find anywhere else. If you really want to perform well, you have to have 100% reliable equipment, that's what made me choose Vigier.
Only old cover with her 'Mysterious Green' guitar. Since about early 2018 the other two guitars have not been seen including the few images of her reappearance. There is speculation of what happened to them.
That green guitar was made specifically for her from Vigier and after months and months of testing, they just gave it to her. She calls it "the green meanie".
When doing a cover, you should never play note for note, always make it your own. She did exactly that. I personally like it better than Gary Moore's original.

Tina is back . Look at her Channel. Her new Band is Spin Twice.

It may not be as spectacular as some of her other covers, but it's still my favourite. Brings tears to my eyes, every time 🤷🏼♂️
She played it so well
@@PJAlphaMusic- I don't think you've done her covers of Vai's 'For the Love of God' and Becker's 'Altitudes'. These are my other two favourites; and run very close to this cover, for the number one spot.
I love her

Her pitch harmonics are incredible. She barely looks at the neck of her guitar, which blows me away. Nice job!
I agree the musicality was definitely off the charts. Just amazing emotionalism!! Tina S is the best female guitarist in the world IMO.
And she is still a teenager and plays most of that without even looking at the guitar. She has been playing since she was a toddler though and learned classical first. None better than Tina S.

whats funny is you haven't even played my favorites from her yet, its only going to keep getting better 🙂
Yes 😂

Je suis d'accord avec vous. Tina fait chanter sa guitare, il y a quelque chose de plus. Musicality, yes.
Tina S 8 Years of Practising Guitar - ua-cam.com/video/vXotdh-nwAU/v-deo.html
Agreed.
And at the time of the video, she was just 15 years (and 2 months) old...

Such a good piece and tina nails it. My top 3 still to go tho. I'll keep tuning in see if ya save the best 4 last.

just wait til you get to For the Love of God and Altitudes.
One word ❤🎉perfektion!!!!!!
désoler pour les vieux guitariste mais Tina surclasse tous les autres c'est un autre monde....
say more about it, more analysis, please! =)

With her Vigier Special, color Mysterious Green, with micros HSH DiMarzio and carbon in the guitar neck.
Personal choice, not my fav TinaS, would never listen to this one as it does not stir my soul. Still a beast of a performance though!!!

Too much vibrato. Gary’s touch and silky tone is hardly duplicated.
Tina said in an interview that she loved doing vibratos, with or without the whammy bar !
