She is playing here both Herman’s and Sam’s tracks combined. They are 2 to do the "solo" and she is covering it alone, at the age of 15. When Herman was asked: "Where could she improve?", he responded "Am I even qualified to say something like this about her?" Her best covers are For the Love of God and Altitudes. Both Steve Vai and Jason Becker praised her when the saw these.
I agree with those two picks, though I'd add Moore's 'The Loner' which, I'm unashamed to admit , brings me to tears. Don't know what it is... but it is the way of things. 🤷♂
Herman Li is such a cool guy 😲🤘🏼The video on his channel together with Elize Ryd is just so much fun, or when he came on stage as the "missing member of Lovebites" when they played together 😄
Tina setkic is coming back to UA-cam soon she just recently updated her UA-cam channel cover photo, so hopefully soon and I believe she is in a band now. Can’t wait 😊
Every time I watch her videos my jaw hits the ground. She barely looks at the neck of her guitar. Most can only dream of playing like that. And I’m one of them
She makes all the covers she does look easy. Notice how she is casually chewing gum as she rips through one of the fastest solos. I admire and appreciate her talent.
Locked in is a good way to describe it. Brendan K., The Doo, Tina, Micheal Jordan, Tom Brady, and Tiger W. They all have it. For musicians, when they look up or chew bubble gum while shredding, you know that they got it.
Now that you've gotten through her 2 most popular covers, its time to see the ones that to me are her best: For the Love of God and Altitudes. Not only do they require technical ability but touch/feel/emotion as well. The changes she makes to For the Love of God are very subtle but it takes the song from something I would never listen to, to something I listen to every week. I'm enjoying your reactions. Subscribed.
Out of all of them I find For The Love Of God the best because to control those bends and whammy bar and put the emotion into it -was riding just on the edge of a cliff without falling off -for the whole piece . Had complete confidence in the feel at every point. I thought that aspect was the challenge for her, more than the awesomely proficient sweeps and shredding she has mastered.
she covers those beautifully... her picking, attack and tone are unique . i dont see guitar players picking as hard as she does and yet shes effortless...
Something nice to see is the reaction of Herman Li (Dragon force guitarist). He was very impressed with Tina's cover, with open mouth 😲 and many 💩exclamations.

Just finished watching your two Tina S reactions, which I really enjoyed. I especially enjoyed your perspective as a trained musician. Also, from Canada, thank you for your many RUSH reactions. Respectfully, I have to ask (and even after checking some of the other comments, to see if this was mentioned already), as classically trained, are you familiar with a genre of rock called "symphonic metal"? Pioneered by Finnish band Nightwish from 1996, the original idea was to recruit opera singers to front a heavy metal band. The original singer was classically trained Finnish opera singer Tarja Turinen. However, they are currently fronted by a Dutch singer many consider to be one of the foremost female singers in the world today: Floor Jansen. ("Floor" is a derivative of "flower" in Dutch, and the pronunciation of the "J" in "Jansen" is European, as in "Y", so really "Yansen"). She did some opera herself, but pro singers distinguish between "opera" and "musical theater", and she is more of the latter. The band features a keyboardist, drummer, and lead and base guitar. Interestingly, the band itself put up a statistic a few months back that their most popular song, "Ghost Love Score", has the most UA-cam "reaction videos" of all music videos out there, I believe at over a thousand. As for what songs I would especially recommend to you, there are some which have more of a classical bent, but most people still prefer the more popular "rock" songs: "Ever Dream"; "Storytime"; and "Romanticide". I can't in UA-cam leave too many links, but I will leave them to their two most complex and popular songs, "Ghost Love Score" (10 min 22 sec) and "The Poet and the Pendulum" (13 min 55 sec) in the "Reply" section below. Thanks, and "Happy Independence Day" from Canada!!

I don’t know if you have reacted to the Tina S cover of a Steve Vai’s "For the love of God" but if you have not check it out! This was, in my opinion, better than the original by Vai. That is a bold statement since we all know that Vai is a straight up guitar god! I think she was 16-17 yrs old. She fell off the map for 7+ years and is back and has released 3 songs with her new group ‘Spin Twice’. Check them out brother!
I´m pretty sure she did not went to university to study. She went back to her mothership and left this planet because her mission here was completed! Yes, just a theory but, hello, listen to that play again.
I don’t remember the mans name, but he is a long haired Asian looking man who was the man of Dragon force who played this. He did a reaction video of her. He was waiting for a place where all other would mess up a little, and she was dead on perfect. He said it was the best cover of this song he had heard. And he j no price something I didn’t. She was playing all of that, chewing gum and looking away for most of it like she was bored. Now when she does come back, I am not sure how much she played being in college. She was, from what I heard, trying to get a law degree. Maybe not much time to play. We will see. She left initially due to too many saying it was fake and she was not really playing it. She was still a kid at 16. This one here she looked younger like 14 which is insane. There is a video out there of her through the years. From the age of 4 or 6 playing a tiny classical guitar, then loving up to a stew string acoustic, then to electric. Who ever taught her did it well and she was born with the talent anyway. But she chose to finish school first. We have to applaud her for that. And her parents for guiding f her to study then get back into guitar if she does so this. I hope to see her playing again. She is my favorite player and I am not usually a metal guy. But I love to watch a master at work.
HAHAHAHAHAHA LOL ! ALL IS WRONG !! A long hair Asian is Herman LI ! Tina is never bored, she is focused ! In this video she is 16 years old less 1 month ! From a normal person's perspective, some of Ludwig's music is "meh" while a lot of it is great and has stood the test of time...but some people either forget or just don't know that Ludwig was deaf, so the fact that he was able to compose such music at all is a feat most people just couldn't do.

Now that she's back I think she should market her own chewing gum and tell people it's her secret to success. You did notice she was chewing gum during that 'hurricane on a fretboard.' Hey! It's me the geezer what referred to you as Van Cliburn. As your training appears to be around the piano I was taken by your pick up of her finger placement on the fretboard during some of her power chords.. And you have the biggest "guns' on any piano player I've ever seen. I hope you don't play any Jerry Lee Lewis tunes. That poor piano...
You are wrong again, saying the second mouvement is not good by comparing it to the first and third is missing the point because it is made to not be like those 2, it is a slow transition in the piece. I would be curious to hear if you have any actual musical argument as to why it is not good ? Is it just personal preference (I assume you like fast playing) then cool but you do make it sound like some sort of objective argument against beethoven

Tina S, is one of the best guitarists out there. She is so talented.
That is the proper technique for playing those chords. Tina is classically trained and a Phenom.

Hermar Li reacted to her playing and was blown away! He said he would want to play with her. He put out an open invitation to play with her!
I didn't see a lot of people who noticed her unusual chord position stretching 1,2 and 3 instead of classic 1,3 and 4. Good job 😉
yes, unusual because she started out classical guitar. thats why shes so interesting to watch. shes so unique
I used to hang out with a lot of guitarists back in the day!
With Tina S the reaction is often a long silence, followed by "I dunno what to say".
