This is a very useful feature. Personally, I feel Panasonic made this entirely too difficult from a user point of view. The manual for the HC-X1500/2000 is trash. It doesn't explain anything. But I am thankful for your video explaining step by step how to stream.

Thank you for an excellent tutorial. I've watched a few tutorials for this same topic. I was able to follow this one - not too fast, not too shallow. My stream was up effortlessly. But one thing missing from all the tutorials I've watched: what do I do next? Once I got the stream going, what do I tell my audience where to watch the stream? I try right click on the stream which gives me a URL for that video. Do I have to tell the world that URL? That works exact the URL changes with each each stream and so that couldn't possibly be the answer. So, what do I do?
Great video, it worked for me. I have 1 issue though, my feed is cropped from what i am seeing in the viewfinder, and kind of looks a fish bowled. do you know what i am doing wrong? Thanks

excellent video thank you. Would you consider doing a video on the same camera & functions. There is very little content on UA-cam re this camera ...its a great camera but not easy to use and the I find the functions very different to other cameras

Hello, I'm looking at getting a HC-X2000, but when you stream, can you store a Title page in the camera before you stream, and stream that title then go to the camera? Or is it just easier to do the title as a thumbnail on UA-cam?
2 questions once you do this set up do you have to go through all these steps again? Second question I attempted to stream to the Yolobox device to Facebook and the video stops after maybe 5 minutes. I’m not recording just streaming so how do I prevent from camera shutting off? Thanks
I just bought HC-X200 and setting up for live streaming. Came across your video and it is excellent. One question - How do I set up 1920X1080P in record function? I don't see that option in any of the file formats.
goto, menu, then down to system, to rec format then choose 1080p
Thanks for your video. I got an issue here with my HC-2000 probably you can help me out. When I'm relaying from the camera to the TV (as overflow) via HDMI connection the live streaming (via wireless) to UA-cam stops. And I cannot get it to live stream again (the RELAY Icon stays activated) even after disconnecting the HDMI. My only option is to reset the camera to factory reset. Thereafter is the RELAY Icon deactivated. Thanks in advance as I look forward to hearing from you.

Du you have any stream that was using this setup, i'm curious on how the actual end result looks on UA-cam. Preferable with some moving subjects since we are aiming to use this for live stream sports. All videos I can find is on how the setups work, but I want to see the stream :)

I have the HC-X2000, I use it mainly for real estate videos and the footage it’s always so hazy, I can’t figure out what’s the best settings to film and can’t find information online, their manual is useless. I’m doing it on MOV now because when I try mp4 it turns out trash. Heeeeeelp!!

is it possible to record and stream simultaneously ?
Unfortunately you cannot add graphics to the stream. You would have to use some other software. You are able to record and stream at the same time.
is there a wireless remote to operate this?
i'm curious about using the wifi at an airport where you don't need a password but has a login page that the airport has set. How would the camera bypass that.
Can it stream 1080 at 50 FPS? My h264 hdmi encoder can do this and bitrate is free to set. Thanks

If your Streaming setting is grayed out, you absolutely have to STREAM in AVCHD. You can change this by going to System > File Format > AVCHD. Cheerio

I have that same camera "HC-X1500", I have it connected to a Blackmagic ATEM Mini, its transmission image quality is very bad, I have no idea what else to do.
I just bought a panasonichc-x2000, and try to setup the streaming fuction but the streaming botton isn't turning ON, its off by default, when I touch the streaming botton it doesn't turn on. What can I do?

Is there a way to go thought the camera with out wifi or internet like using it as a webcam?
Yes you would need a capture card for your computer and have that connect to the HDMI port of the camera.
Will it work on facebook?
Have you experienced any hissing issues with the external mic input? I have just received the camera and I noticed when I plugged any mic or any 3.5 cable into the external audio input, there is a constant hissing sound that isn't coming from the mic or cable. It looks like a camera issue and isn't fixable with gain settings.
Your gain might be set too high
I find my clips hiss when played through Windows default media player. Try using VLC.
I followed the instructions and when i hit stream vide at the end the arrow has lines for only a moment then it stops flashing, could you please tell me how to correct the issue. Also would you please tell me how to change the recording format to 1080p it is set at 50hz and on streaming mode 1080 is not listed. Thanks!

I founed something to workoround it but i want to know if there is something i do it wrong.
Sorry for my english i'm greek.
The way i use the streaming function is the folow.
First i setup the resolution and the bitrate i want. Usally 720p 3mbps.
Then, because the stream can not keepup, i start decrease the resolution and the bitrate to 1,5 mbps. If it cannot keeup i do the same again.
Usally at 0,5 mbps it keepups longer. I may restart it couple of times.
After 1 to 2 minutes i have a stable connection.
Then i stop streaming and put the resolution back to 720p 3 mbps. By this way it keepup the streaming. It may stop 1 more time in arount 1 minute but after this never stops again!!!
Give it a try.

I followed this video carefully, over and over to be certain that all the Menu info was exactly as in this video.
Most of the time if I press User 5 (streaming start) the streaming icon flashes for less than a minute.
However on the UA-cam Streaming interface nothing happens except occasionally - 1 out of 10 streams and then UA-cam picks up X2000's stream.
However, the stream ends less than one minute. This proves that the Cameras Wifi is working; and that the Stream must be configured correctly - on my end.
And the whole of what I studied and applied from this video I then get occasional confirmation from UA-cam Server Stream interface. Something is connecting
though rarely, though unpredictably. And yes I have on several occasions elected to start fresh with Menu by Utility/ Network Initialize. It is time consuming to repeat again what I already did - enter the same exact info that would establish Wifi connection, Streaming abilities and then again prove that I can WiFi, I can Stream, and then what happens is what I already stated -
ifif stream if I get a UA-cam stream - and it lasts less then I minute.

Go to system, choose the frequency, choose your codec, under that super slow should be an option. Make sure you have media inside the camera or it will be greyed out.

Super Slow only works with 1080HD.

Is it possible to stream to rtsp port + output to hdmi + record in full hd simultaneously with this camera? Thanks :)
On my HC-X2000 I'm able to output 1080p via HDMI, record the same to an SD card, and live stream. The steaming functionality is basically independent of recording. Unfortunately it does look like you can't go beyond 1080p output to either HDMI or SD when streaming -- since the camera must be on a 1080p mode to be able to select streaming (as said in the excellent video). You can though choose different streaming resolutions while keeping the recording resolution the same.

Hi did you figure out why it stopped streaming after 30 min? I just bought the x2000 model and it would shut off after 5 min and figured the problem I had to take it off the battery eco mode. But reading your comment wonder if it shuts off for other reasons? Thanks
I connected the camcorder via HDMI to the PC to transfer the video files. But the PC does not see the camera. Where did I go wrong? This is my first contact with this video camera.
I am using this camera to live stream a church service via HDMI to OBS. after about 10 minutes, camera powers down. is there an override?
You need turn off energy saving or put cam on AC without battery!

When I go to Camera and then USER5, there is no "streaming start" category. What did I miss?
Did you make sure to set user five to start stream in the menu? The "Start stream" button is not programmed to that button by default.

My streaming for is 1920-1080 224fps 14m says too high. when i change to 6m, the message says not getting enough data. Thanks for any help you can give.

That is not a backslash for the strean key, it is a forward slash.
What is a stream key? And where do you get it? You dont explain 🤷🏻♂️
A stream key is a code you have to obtain from the streaming service like youtube or facebook. They make it easily available if you are looking to start streaming.
When would you use 50hz compared to 59? Nothing in stupid manual
telling you why, when, nothing . Computer can't read MOV files or
HEVC. How do you fix that ? Software for this? Computer doesn't read anything recorded using 50hertz either. Nightmare.
It doesn't work. When I want wifi, there's a red cross in front of it even though I'm connected!
