i wish they added a feature that lets you write down the important entries and you could have a notebook of sorts that you can check on anytime with every important thing youve read. still, i love to see that an update like this has come to existence and i feel like your content is one of the reasons they even thought about making this as you have currently the biggest lore community on youtube. Love your videos and im excited to what you have to reveal to us about deepwoken. :>

The moon eye is probably where people of the old world went after death before they discovered the song and were punished by the gods by having all peoples souls anchored to the depths It’s also probably why Yun shul wants the moon eye, because the remaining souls that were not consumed by the depths are in the moon eye

The second I saw the glossary in the patch notes, I knew you'd have a field day with it, this is in quotes in my guild server: "I'm also interested in the glossary system Maybe it'll add more lore clarity If so then ermesmetel will have a field day with this"
I feel like their clarification of yhe ability to go straight to the third layer without going into any other layer, and the prominence of red sharkos and the ability to get the simmerbloom diadem from the saramead hollow are suggesting this is how you will reach layer 3
In 5 years? After conquest, maybe. But the devs really would have to lock in for a LONG while, practically the central luminant would be verse 3, with entire new luminant, probably 5+ oaths, maybe a new magic, atleast 2 origins(authority, hive) and so many more, probably dungeons and even bosses. But most of all A LOT OF LORE. Like diver base, new content for divers, ignition base, authority base.... It would really be difficult to grasp how MUCH content they'd have to add and lore. I dont expect it anytime soon... if ever.
@ funny thing is the 2 oaths and lifeweave are already done some dude leaked them however i totally agree with the new areas but didnt they leak the markor cidatel in that twitter post? it can definitely be done and probably much shorter than we expect

Just spit balling here, but with the idea song stirs the drowned gods.. why can't that mean the song is a product of the drowned gods made by the drowned gods. Wait wait, hear me out here. Use of the song is something that is inherently, well, bad. It stirs drowned gods and allows the world to sink deeper to allow monsters and the like to crawl up and terrorize people on the surface. Now the origin of song is very likely never going to be confirmed. But, why can't it be the product of a drowned god. A god who realized the power of song, perhaps in their own world and made song well.. part of the universe. This means the world drowns, which means they gain power. And as the world becomes worse people start seeing song as less and less of a tool and more of a necessity. And as people use that song, the world drowns more, etc etc. Again, nothing to back this up. Just a thought.

i took the passage to a 3rd layer of the depths without ever going to the first or second layer as a hint
