it is also notable that the parasol has a few similarities between carbuncles (no like seriously get two images and compare them side by side), for example take a look at the coloration of not only its hands being around the same fleshy pink but also that bluish green hue around the outer rim of its dome, it even has comparable tiny red eyes which look similar to that of the carbuncles (for a good image of the parasols eyes look at the announcement teaser for the parasol) my head canon for the parasol is what a fully matured carbuncle could become and this idea of mine stems mostly from the existence of how other known parasites can effect their hosts within the world of deepwoken, as you don't just become a mudskipper from some random disease but rather a parasite that is usually implanted (example of this is with squibbos) an example of the parasites progression could be mudskippers > brutes > broodlords and its not like carbuncles don't already grow and change, just look at the infected divers and their progressed (or rather regressed) forms

If they keep trying to make conquest a MOBA their just gonna keep shooting the game in the foot. Its just dumb, no one wanted a conquest gamemode, everyone wanted world events, and they decided "Hmmm, yes, lets work on conquest" like???? Devs are fine to do as they please but if they put it up for a vote on what they players want and STILL want to do something else why even vote? Me and many people feel that deepwoken could be a great game, and it has high expectations because its problably gonna be one of the few games that are actually worth playing on roblox, but the devs just seem to not care about it and would rather just do whatever and hope it works out. The game has had its ups and downs, but at this rate the devs keep sinking it without giving it any time on the surface.

new theory: based off gameplay, ermesmetal might secretly be Kiori

splinterblade instantly made me think dormant splinter, possibly a new variant that will be granted along with the new oath similar to the saintsblade. my guess is that you will have to use the dormant splinter to allow yourself to get three murmurs and the soulbreaker at the same time and then the soulbreaker will have an innate weapon called the splinterblade

The theory that the depth is ever changing actually ties very nicely with the great drownings and the tides as a whole What we know as the "first layer" is Celtor itself, however Celtor was once part of the overworld. This means that before the Celtorian horror the "first layer" would have been completely different. my personal theory here is that the eternal gale--which has tons of different buildings we see on our trip to fight chaser--was actually the world before the tides which would make sense do to its immense size in comparison to Scyphozia. If this is the case I'm very curious what the deeper layers of the depths are--if of course they aren't just more parts of the old world. I just stumbled upon your channel recenlty and it's grown to be one of my absolute favorite Deepwoken channels. With the gameplay eating itself from the inside out the lore is one of the few things the game does right, and your videos help us dive deeper into it perfectly. I'm excited to explore more of the lore as this world progresses further!
