    After doing the potato challenge for 30 days, I can absolutely agree with what you said! It completely healed my food addiction problem and helped my vegan junk food cravings to leave. Amazing!

    Great point about the simplicity of eating mono foods to retrain yourself how much to eat because the hyper-stimulation of taste DOES cause one to become oblivious to the physical signals. I deprived myself, dieted/binged for so long my body totally had no clue when I was hungry or when I was full. WFPB helped me drop half my body weight, but still not where I need to be five years later. Thanks for the insight!

      Char Covelesky yes I imagine in the future I'll do a few days of spuds only every now and then, just to keep on top of things.

    I am so pleased you said this. Every person should eat and drink when needed only. So many believe eating needs to be; three meals, breakfast, lunch, dinner and do this every day. Or five small meals or ....... The way to eat is when hungry only. Some days that will be once a day somedays six times a day. We have forgotten to listen to our bodies only, it is never wrong. I have been wanting to say this from when I saw you first so happy you know this 😊💞xxx

      There is no mention of hunger in the Spud Fit challenge. Eat when you feel like it, whether you are hungry or not.

    Party in your mouth, 'party on"~ side of the brain vs I'm full part of the brain. Good way of summing that up. I think that You can be addicted to anything, I ran out of potatoes, so I was eating rice for a couple of days, but, I felt anxious, not satisfied at all. Tues is when I do the shopping, but, I had to make a trip to town, Saturday, just because I wasn't happy, tells me that I am addicted to potatoes, my comfort food!

    If I could add one thing and I only do because I trust a lot of what I see at Nutritionfacts.org.
    The fact that if you can eat in the morning, then this is a good thing because it starts your metabolism and for most folks eating this way who are doing so for weight loss, this would hopefully help out. And if I remember correctly, the study also said that it didn't have to be a lot. Just enough to get the motor going.

      I don't think it's good to eat when you don't feel like it, regardless of what the well respected Dr Greger says. Being in touch with your own body and learning to trust it is more important than revving up the metabolism.

    after you are done with the year what is your plan are you going to start eating other foods slowly into your diet

      Plan is to eat whole food plant based, starch solution style. A few people have asked me this, I'll try to make a video about it later today...

    When did you start taking b-12 and how much can I taked Melotonin to sleep 3.m

      I just have a spray once a week or so. I'm no expert on Melotonin but potatoes made a huge difference to my sleep.

      I tried to eat lots of healthy whole food plant based meals but I let myself down with too much junk food and I over ate and binge ate a lot. Thanks for your support :-)

    I love potatoes did you have cauliflour or brocolli or onions the first 365 days I was on Atkins since the 90's lost a lot, I am 72 now and can't lose weight been gaining and always sick weak depressed started spud fit already down 14 lbs more energy not depressed but have headaches still after about 3weeks what to do
    I weighed in at 184 lost 14 training for a half marathon that I always do each year. seem so strong

      I was only potatoes for all of last year and then I added other things. Well done! I think the headache will pass but see a doc if it doesn't.

    Man I just got slammed by a gang of guys saying
    You need to be doing the keto and that the potatoes will kill you that all that starch will turn into fat
    Make be feel bad mate what the heck
