I’ve seen a lot of ‘cheat’ fault line cakes using 3 cakes on boards. Honestly your fault line cakes show real skill. I love them!
This is brilliant. I suddenly want to try is but use dinosaur bones to make like a Jurassic Park fault line cake. My cousin wanted a dinosaur cake for her birthday last month, and it was cute, but this would be great for next year. :)
As a medical student trying to procrastinate and avoid all the studying i need to do, the bones bit was a surprising and unexpected moment of revision especially when you said the hands are quite hard cos theres so many bits and my brain just went "nah not really, just the carpal bones, metacarpals, and phalanges!"

Made it today. Red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and this decor. Came out divine. I have put a fondant grey scull and 5 fondant roses (3 red, 1 grey, 1 black). It looks absolutely incredible. Thank you for the recipe. This is the second one of yours I have made.

I like this, I might make it, but I would leave out the red dripping if you don't mind, I loved how elegant it was all white, and I might put tombstones on the top just so the bones are the skeletons to those graves ;-). Never made a fault line cake (yet)

Well Epic cake Jemma...but please be careful darlin...things do get rather intense there around Halloween! I've heard there's a rise in werewolf sightings in London recently and even MORE walking dead in your area. Please be careful. I would hate to have you ill again from a Zombie bite again! BTW, I heard a rumor that there is a ghost in the storage area where you keep all the boxes for C&D cake transportation...is there any truth to these rumors? Be safe Jemma....it's a scary time of year! :P
