If the cake doesn’t taste good then it’s a bad baker. Modern bakeries are as good as they are beautiful. The notion beautiful cakes taste bad is VERY old fashioned.

@8:47 That gelatin flower/stone creation looks super cool! Love how they inject the clear gelatin with colored gelatin (I think?) to create petals and leaves, and those stones looked so real! Not sure how good it tasted, but it looked amazing!

Depending on the cake they can last a while. Also the frosting helps preserve them. That’s why traditional cakes are fruit cakes with fondant. It can last really well. For the new ones I just hope they do the decorating in a giant refrigerator
