Processing Diagnosis: Photography as a Lifeline

Photographer Torrance York shares how her latest body of work acted as a lifeline following her diagnosis with Parkinson disease (PD). Torrance takes us through the process by which the images were created and published as a collection in her book, Semaphore. Through this project Torrance explores her shift in perspective and draws connections between the visual world and her internal experience post-PD diagnosis.
