Watch Green Bay Packer linebacker Clay Matthews train with Jay Glazer to enhance his game. Several NFL players are turning to MMAthletics in the off season to learn the skills and techniques and apply them to football. The training is intense and is now available to the publish through Jay Glazer's Perfect Punch Training System.
I certainly hope Clay does an even better job and puts everything he's learned into this up coming season
does jay glazer have any qualifications to be training him? serious question
@fitedude I will always watch football over mma any given day of the year.
Well, I think it's just his honest opinion. Honestly, I KINDA agree with him, because I find MMA to be somewhat more exciting to watch, aside from all else. But I'm still rather fond of football. Or at least, of the Packers.
imagine if football players like Clay Matthews did ufc?
oh and that 200 million was JUST in the u.s., there are a lot that watch it also in canada, mexico, etc.
Clay is my hero
Hope it does come here
i agree!
I find it funny how the debate on whether MMA is better than football is such a huge deal here, if you want to go by most popular sport then neither mma or AMERICAN football can touch soccer. I am not a soccer fan so don't think i'm pulling for that to be a better sport. I think that each has its advantages and disadvantages. So imo they are both great sports that are both very popular. And for the record American football has a fanbase in many countries just as MMA does.
@ blackakuma
Football is not only in the USA we had it in europe some one i know lives in australiä and gues what the have american football and yeah MMA is also world wide so what one does likes the sport and another one does not who cares let them like what they want so no more fighting about what sport is cooler then the other and that also counts for.
@ StraightCash081
body on body work......sounds like fun. 52 rules!
MMA is better than the NFL. It allows smaller guys as small as 125 lbs to be successful because of weight classes. Also athleticism isn't as big of a factor. In football if you aren't athletic you can't play most of the positions. MMA allows technique and skill to overcome athleticism.
2:45 damn! Clay is hung like a Dinosour!
MrPoochsmooch lmao
🤣🤣
@StraightCash081 Well i havent really posec arguements but look - there is a reason NFL players train MMA to stay in shape - its he best sport out there. Even Tim fuckin Tebow is training now so gtdo
That man is a beast! He's smart and I'd hate to have that freight train coming torward me with full force!
MMA > NFL
GO PACK GO!!!!
Good stuff! :)
they dont suck at it, its just football isnt interesting in other countries, thats why its not a olympic sport
if i want to play better fotball do you recommen braziliam jiu jitsu??? or kick boxing? i play linebacker
+Daniel Mora Learning how to grapple ie wrestling will help you more than just about anything. Many of the great lineman were once great wrestlers. Great for linebacker as well. You'll learn how to control the person line up against you much better, maintain your feet, strip blocks, and tackling will be much improved, especially when having to tackle with little velocity.
not the point. just saying that the nfl is popular in many countries. ufc is a lot easier to have in other countries with smaller ring/stadium and only 2 fighters
i think you been hearing bullshit from other people that talks shit about mma but there will always be haters!
and if you think mma is garbage then why is most nfl players using mma?
@StraightCash081 or never have been a football player, let alone seen an MMA gym. your insults to others show insecurity and immaturity and ignorance and intense anger. this coming from a middle schooler. im a str8 A student and i train 9 hrs a week. Im also an amazing football player for my size. my Dad is a colonel in the Air Force with a phd in social and cognative psychology with 4 masters degrees - graduated 29th in his year at the Air Force Academy.
probably because that guy was tired and couldn't defend himself...try to learn the mma rules instead of hating on it because its rising over the nfl...
clay just destroyed that heavy bag
mma is already relevant to america smart guy.....
whatever say
thats my point, i dont hate on it its fucking gnarly. But they might as well just knife fight to the death.
MMA is not more exciting than a regular or postseason NFL game
Maybe not to you. Ever consider it might be a matter of personal opinion?
tell me how its better than the NFL?
MMA could be more popular than NFL...if you'd think outside your own POV and think globally. for example, they're not playing american football in DUBAI...but there is MMA and grappling tournaments there.
for the record, if you think a football player like clay would be successful at mma...stop it.
motherfuckers are always looking at size.
there's a reason why special force personnel aren't oversized action figures...there's a reason why even heavyweight boxers aren't all massed out.
LOL at the NFL right now.
@StraightCash081 Football(soccer)>American football as far as world popularity goes
is. mma>nfl
why mma is bigger than nfl? well mma is the fastest growing sport in the world. mma is all over the planet earth. football is only america's sport. in other countries they dont give a shit about football because it dont make sense to them. there's my explanation, nfl fans ain't got no explanantion. CHOP
yeah its for training. doesnt mean its the best sport out there.
Fuck yeahhh!!
let me know when its on another channel besides Versus. LMAO
clay matthews is beautiful *drool*
LMFAO!!!!!!!!
I wanna be the bag. I WANT TO BE THE BAG.
yea there will always be people brutalizing for sport, and there will always be people making jokes about how senseless it is i guess.
just to get in shape. doesnt mean its a good sport to watch
how bout you explain why the nfl is more better than mma?
mma is great...but if you go look at the numbers, american football has more fans...almost 200 million people tuned in for the superbowl,,,not so for any mma event. I love mma so don't get me wrong, it's an awesome sport, but football is still a bigger draw
Awesome athlete, but horrible penetration step, obviously never a wrestler
not. nfl>mma
you mad bro?
im a dumbass? let me know when mma is relevant to america
Nope
Jay Glazer? What a joke lmfao!!!
its actually from a randy moss quote. do you know him? probably not. and are you taking shots at people that are actually victims of sexual abuse as children? wow thats pretty low. didnt think you would go there..just pathetic. grow up
won't pass soccer...
lmao your on drugs the day MMA ever challenges football is the day Hell freezes over smh MMA still hasnt passed boxing yet last time i checked boxing fighters and BOXING ppvs still made more money than MMA
nice joke
speaking the truth about what? you arguments are terrible. get out of here
a fat girl? give me a break
