I make all my own swim jigs, pitching jigs and football jigs. Like you said there is nothing like catching bass on a bait you make yourself

My son younger son Nathan was excited to hear a shout-out to another Nathan. He wanted to watch a fishing video and now wants to make his own lures. How about a red and glittery one? That is his idea for his first one. He wants to be able to outfish his brother's Crickhopper. Time to learn a new facet to the hobby I guess!

Love the swim jig. It’s become my go to. Lately I’ve been carrying swim jig, arkie jig, and a Ned rig. My go to baits when going to a new pond or lake. The jigs plus 3/4 different trailers and you’ll find fish.

Swim jig is about the only thing I can consistently get bit on here lately. The water is a thick funky green at my favorite lake.

Alright man so I am a big swim jig fisherman. I really enjoy throwing them. Always looking for something new that looks good. I’d love to get my hands on one of those ones you make. It looks really good. Not sure if you ever do that often with a swim jig. But let me know man!
Looking forward to the Shimano rod vs Daiwa rod. I have the older model of medium heavy baitcasting slx. Seems way heavier action than mh. I use it a lot for jigs, carolina rigs and topwater. Wasn't impressed honestly. Thankfully got it 49.99 at bps

Sexy Shad 1.5 KVD square bill crank is a awesome crank. Caught 43 Largies in 1.5 hours on Sexy Shad squarebill. I believe it's as good as a Green Pumpkin color lures.

I literally can't catch a fish on a swim jig and I live on a grass lake, can catch them on a regular jig and a chatterbait but put on a swim jig and nothing
Hey man. I see a lot of people running straight braid for swim jigs. Whats your take on it? I have heard and read, braid helps with coming through the grass.
Swim jig is my favorite sometimes to a default where despite bringing maybe 4 other combos I just end throwing it the entire time. Why do I even spend money other lure?
