Bringing multiple setups is definitely the way to go ( if it’s in your budget ) pond hopping I’ll typically bring 4 and rig from top to bottom. Love days where you catch em’ on everything you throw !!

I have had lots of luck with the BOYO Spook for white bass. The wacky rig is my all time favorite for small ponds.

Been crushing em on a bubble popper walking it back and forth the last two days then today they wanted it slow popping. Crazy how it changes. Love catching them on topwater and the popper, plopper, and walking bait has been working great! Also, I love bringing 3-6 rods depending on where im fishing. Like having a lighter medium rod, a medium heavy, and a topwater rod either heavy frog rod with braid or MH with 14lb mono. Usually bring em all and just grab which ones I want out the truck. I'd much rather bring 3 or 4 rods and be able to fish everything as opposed to having to retie just to try something for a small spot or small window (cloud cover, wind break, Etc).

Small mouth bass is the best , a 2 pounder fight like a 3-4 pound bass .
I’ve been striking gold w my old spinning combo this week, taught the kid on my newer combo and damn if the “old” fav isn’t lucky. 2 big girls and some dinks, less than an hour of feeshin. 3.5#er for a few casts today!? Heck yes! Plus no more push button reel for the kid. Win win

If possible, the audience may benefit from an instructional on how to use topwater or exposed hooks when around vegetation like you are. I’ve just gotten comfortable with it and it opens up a whole new world of possibilities when bank fishing

What a fantastic pond! I'm saving up for another rod. I bought 3 in 2003 and on one the eyes are losing the inner ring of the guides. I agree though, it is so important to be able to switch quick.
@debo which setup in the topspin are you using and prefer. The 3/0 or 5/0 version and what weight. Im getting more soon but got a 1/4oz 3/0 hook but that hook seems short 🤷♂️
There are other top water walking baits that start up easier and work all around better, but you just can't beat the og spook.

Multiple rigs is the way to go, but you can bring only one rig, tie a clip to the line, that will help with quick lure changes. Great day of fishing Debo!
