I was literally just playing this game yesterday in preparation for the new movie. It is such a fun game, especially because you get to play through these awesome movies (except for Thor The Dark World, because that movie was not good, but the Lego level is actually better than the movie).
I never get tired of the bits where Brett screams in the background. Never fails to bring a smile to my face. I just picture Jirard in the middle of recording audio turning around and facing Brett like, "Seriously? You wanna do this now?!" Another quality episode, TOVG crew. Keep it up!

My first ever completed game was Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga on the 360. Ever since then I've 100% on a good number of all of them as a tradition of mine. I love these games so much!
I was mad this wasn't God of War but after hearing confirmation at the end of the video I realized that it must have taken some time to complete this great game! He must have enjoyed the ride! I'm looking forward!
There are so many Lego games out there. I picked up Lego Marvel Super Heroes last year just to see how good/bad it is. To my suprise i even finished it. There is so much to do, maybe even too much, but had a great time with it. Great video as always!
Liked the video before even watching because of all the positivity and engagement in the comments. Plus it's always touching to see a large channel that still interacts with the fans this much! (Also low-key liked because Hawkeye has always been an awesome character starting from the comics and seeing him get the love he deserves is bomb)
Dreaming in Lego? Haven't done that yet, but I have dreamt in pixel-based sprites after binge gaming during my formative years. The first time was with Final Fantasy on the NES. ...because the Marsh Cave is evil, and it took me several solid DAYS of playing before young me realized that grinding in RPGs was a thing. It was my first RPG. We all have to learn some time.
Recomendations for the future! Star ocean 2(ps1 or PSP) Halo wars, final fantasy 8. not that these are a priority, but theyd be huge for me personally.
Good show as always! I might just pick up this game now. Also, if you wouldn't mind, could you complete crypt of the necrodancer? Its one of my favorite games
I love that Lego has perfected product-placement. Yes, it's a 3 hour advertisement for Lego play-sets, but who cares? There a lot of fun. Now where can I buy the Lego Avengers Tower?
Bought this and the season pass before even finishing your video. Dont know why, but it snagged my attention way more than a lot of the lego games recently.
I played a LEGO Marathon last year, completing all the titles on Steam (I have them all). And I will have to agree you with Jirard....if you've played one LEGO game, you've played them all. xD
I've played a few of the Lego games as a youngun on the DS. Man, were those some good times. I remember playing Lego Star Wars on the Wii with my brother and laughing hysterically as we failed to do the voices and beat each other up in the elevators.
A bit late but ... I got to the part in the first mission where Ironman flies around that fortress while Captain America is on the roof and they're trying to get in to get Lokis cepter. After half an hour of trying to figure out what exactly the game expects me to do, since smashing stuff and killing enemies didn't seem to do the trick, I just went "F*ck this BS" put the game away and never looked at it again. Does it still count as having played it?
@@Tatokat Since you are commenting on the channel called The Completionist, it is only suited to say that you have played it when you have completed it. Also, I dont remember Loki's scepter being a part of the story mode. Mind elaborating?
@@derekhofstetler3998 First off, that I'm subscribed to this channel does NOT mean that I'm also a completionist. It just means that I like to hear professional opinions/reviews/analyzes of games. In fact I'm one of the people who find it ridiculous when completionists force themselves to play a game to the point of hating it. And the concept of "finishing" a game, "playing" a game and "completing" it, have very different criteria. And if you bother watching any of these videos to the end, you'll find that the games are not being ranked at how good or bad they are to complete, but rather how much time is reasonable to investing in them. You know since that is what "finish it" or "play it" and all the other ranks mean. So simply picking up a game, playing for a bit and then never looking at it again if you don't like it, is obviously still acceptable on this channel. And now for your actual question. Remember the first scene of the second movie? When the Avengers break into that bad guy hideout to steal Loki's scepter? For some reason it's the first level of the game. And in that first level is a part where Captain America stands on the roof of the bad guy hideout while Iron Man is flying around it, and you have to somehow get into it. Well, I've spent half an hour fighting bad guys and breaking stuff, but couldn't find anything to build to get into the building. So I gave up. And I don't really have the motivation to try again.
A LEGO game that I would like to see on this channel is LEGO City Undercover. Because it is the first modern open-world LEGO game and the devellopers really nailed that game in my opinion (even if completing the 100% can be boring at times and frustrating if you don't follow a guide)
Lego games are 100% always about the journey than the reward, and if you're ok with that, they are amazing. If you want that reward, you won't really get it.

Finally, in Marvel's Agents of Shield, part of the cinematic universe, Coulson is slightly less dead than you would expect and is currently located more than 70 years into the future, after an immortal alien called Enoch sent him there through a Monolith to prevent an extinction-level event, which is occurring in a timeline where agent Daisy Johnson (also known as Quake) has destroyed the world (getting her the name of Quake, Destroyer of Worlds) and the Kree are in charge of the remnants of humanity in the remains of the Earth. The completion of this came sooner than I expected. The One and Done was a month ago, but I know it was done for Infinity War. Still awesome because LEGOs are tight, especially the games.
Who's your favorite superhero and why is it Hawkeye?
The Completionist cause he is arguably one of the most relatable MCU characters.
hawwkeye is the best hero! im with ya!
The Completionist Batman. Because he's batman.
Hawkeye is the best Avenger. Not the strongest, or the smartest or the most talented... but he's the best.
Spider-Man due to his witty jokes and his alter ego being very relatable
I actually like Hawkeye, he is my favorite avenger. (Thanks for the heart Jirad, that really makes my day)
Don't worry Jirard, I got your back. Hawkeye IS freaking awesome. You're not alone on that, man.
Green arrow ftw
Agreed during the first avengers, he was easily my favorite, not anymore but hes still high on my list
No, he’s not.
Got an ad for Lego Incredibles on this vid...that ad algorithm is pretty darn accurate sometimes.
Exept the other thousand times im watching something like Zero Puntuation and shows an ad of a russian... Ice scream? or one of those weird indian comertials. Like... why?
You get a like just for saying Hawkeye is your favorite.
Hawkeye actually had quite a few abilities in the game that I used him a lot when i 100% the game myself
I was literally just playing this game yesterday in preparation for the new movie. It is such a fun game, especially because you get to play through these awesome movies (except for Thor The Dark World, because that movie was not good, but the Lego level is actually better than the movie).

the DS version is glitched so one collectible is unable to obtain period.
Xevins Jaegernaut Awww, That sucks. I’d only played the Xbox and PlayStation versions of the game where it only glitches some of the time
