I never considered myself a baker but now after making several of your recipes I have found that it’s something I enjoy. I just need this chocolate Bundt cake yesterday and it’s amazing. The crème brûlée,and the olive oil cake are as well but the coffee cake and peanut butter cookies are the ones my family asked me to make all the time. Thank you for sharing your recipes.

Briefly the components : A cup and a half of hot water A cup and a quarter of unsweetened cocoa powder We mix them and put them on the side for about 10 minutes Grease the cake pan with butter or oil and sprinkle with flour or cocoa powder In another bowl, dry ingredients: 3 and a half cups of flour 2 and a half granulated sugar 2 and a half tablespoons of baking soda or baking powder pinch of salt We add to the cocoa that we have set aside: 1 cup of melted butter Half a cup of vegetable oil 4 large eggs 1 cup of sour cream or its substitute, yogurt A little bit of vanilla - We put this mixture to the dry ingredients We mix them all up We put the mixture in a muffin mold and put it in the oven at 350 degrees for 55 minutes
I bought a bundt pan November of 2021 to make a special birthday cake. I was going to use an old recipe, but it just happen. Finally, a recipe that makes my mouth water and I am sure will be loved by family! You make all cooking and baking much better for me. Thank you!

I made this for Friendsgiving and it was a hit! If you choose to make the ganache with espresso (recommend), use 30ml heavy whipping cream and 40ml espresso with the 113g of choc chips. Perfect consistency!

I made this cake today for Mother’s Day and it came out so moist and delicious! The only thing I will probably change next time is the ganache. Even though I like semisweet chocolate and used the Ghirardelli chips that you showed in your written recipe, it just tasted a little too bitter even though I didn’t use the espresso. So I may do 1/2 milk chocolate chips next time or a different topping altogether. The cake was 100% a winner though!

Love that there is no need to cream the butter (or use a mixer for that matter). One of the easiest recipes I've ever witnessed. I'd buy a cookbook that features unintimidating easiest to do recipes ever.

Hi JK! Yep, I usually ad a TB of oil to my butter cakes for the added moisture! I am glad you mixed by hand, sometimes the mixer over glutens a cake-I learned that from you!

My favorite thing to do is using almond extract in chocolate recipes. I have made chocolate bundt cakes before, and the almond extract 100 times better than vanilla extract.
Wow! This recipe really takes me back. When I was a kid and we're talkin like 40 some years ago, my next door neighbor would babysit me and we would have a baking day. She taught me how to make a rich decadent chocolate cake and the only difference between yours and hers was instead of adding sour cream she would take a packet of chocolate pudding mix and put it in the batter. Other than that your recipe was exactly the same. Can't wait to try it with the ganache though

Thanks for the extra yolk idea! I also want my cake to be dense, like a pound cake. But still super moist. I hope it works!
