Very very helpful! I just acquired my first Miriam Haskell clips-on earrings. I found a photo with Joan Crawford wearing similar!! The distinctive fine filigree work on the backs was beautiful!!

Loved the lower price class of this video. It shows me brands that I have a real chance of finding near me at a reasonable price.
Most of the higher end names in the high dollar have lower pieces you can find the higher ones are just the rarest but definitely remember the names!

Zandra Rhodes is an awesome English designer. She was in her hay day in the 70s. She is actually now Dame Zandra Rhodes. She is probably in her 80s now with hot pink hair. Her clothing is gorgeous. I found one of her books in a thrift store and discovered her that way. Her jewelry was sold in English pounds which is much more money than our US dollars. Your videos are always fabulous and very much appreciated. 😊🤗😚😙❤❤

Did some research on jelly belly: jewelry containing large, unfaceted stones made of lucite. Popular in the 40s. Many were whimsical creatures with the stone forming the belly.

Hey Kat, here's a quick pronunciation tip for French words: in most cases, the last consonant is silent. So, for Yves Saint-Laurent, Yves is pronounced "eve" (no ess sound), Saint is almost the same as in English (a bit more nasal), but without the "t" sound at the end, and Laurent you got right: "low" + "rrren" without the "t" sound at the end. Typically when genuine amber has an insect, it is insect parts and difficult to make out.
Resin or plastic "amber" has complete bugs.
It often costs in the hundreds if genuine amber with insect part inclusions. Genuine amber without bugs tend to be inexpensive. If amber is green it has been heated.

When prices have the "L" in front of them it means "pounds" and not dollars. Depending on exchange rate may be more than dollar.
Yves Saint Laurent - You have the Laurent part correct. But Yves is "eve" ("s" on the end of words is silent in French), saint is "san" - and it's more a sound "eh" - you don't put emphasis on the "n" like English.
