🚨 Be sure to check out my list of favorite pickleball accessories in the video description. Lots of super fun things to add to your bag. Plus, discounts! 😁😁😁
I have one par of those. Are really different coming from Asics, the shoes protect better your toes and the sudden flexion that can create injuries there. Also the pivot it is really helping for the split step on toes. What I notice it is that they are so stable too much, so no slide, and sometimes I feel that that sudden break could affect knees as per the impact goes there. It is like you are running and suddenly stop at kitchen, it really stop no sliding as other tennis shoes.
I want to try to see if this will be better for my Achilles tendon, as I have a tendency to overstretch them when playing pb. Thanks for reviewing them.
The giveaway will be in about a month. I will contact you via email and announce the winner in my channel's community tab as well. Be aware of scammers. I will not reach out to you via a comment before chatting with you. And I won't ask you to ever spend any money for shipping or anything else to get your gear. Good luck!
Currently have the Babolat Mach 3’s and my soles are starting to wear down thin, been looking for new shoes and so grateful you posted this review! Can’t wait to try em on!
I’ve been wanting to get me some court shoes for a while now and I’d love to give these a shot. I like the high stability factor and ankle support. Thanks for the review!
Thanks for the review. I have a tendency to roll my ankles a bit, possibly because I lean too hard on the outside of my feet. Having some tanks for shoes would definitely help.
I have owned several different pickleball shoes and the soles have only lasted around 3 months. I'm not impressed with PB specific shoes and was advised to get tennis shoes instead and the soles will last longer. Also one first started playing PB I had a pair of babolat tennis shoes and they lasted twice as long as any PB specific shoes that I have owned. So would love to try a pair of these and see if they stand up and last longer than other PB specific shoes I've owned. 🏓
Matthew, thx for the great video, very helpful in choosing a pickleball shoe. After trying literally over a dozen different pairs over the last year, I would be thrilled to try a pair of Winners Edge P-38s... it sounds like someone finally got it right. 😊👍👍
Thank you for the review. These shoes sound great and I'd like to try them. I recently tore my calf muscle playing, and I think shoes may have played a part, so I'm looking for ones better for short bursts of speed for when I'm healthy enough to play again.
I definitely would like a pair of shoes that have durable treads. I enjoyed my Asics Gel-9's, but they went bald after 3-5 months of play. Thanks for spotlighting this shoe!
Glad to see you branching out with gear for pickleball. I usually just wear Hoka's when I play. I have been looking at pickleball shoes but haven't made to jump yet
Have been playing there sport for the last 5 months and I’m hooked on it. Currently I’m using my old basketball shoes and they’re definitely heavier than I would like. Just want to win them to have the right shoes for me to get better at pickleball.
I love seeing non-paddle giveaways, honestly! Do you ever do pickleball bag reviews/giveaways? These shoes are smooth. I'm all for winning a pair! Thanks for the intel about their monthly giveaways on their website. I'm gonna go sign up for that, too👍
I sometimes talk about bags in my paddle review videos. TMPR has one I like, and I show it in that vid. I am thinking about doing a bag round-up sort of video as well. Just super behind right now because I was out of commission for a month with some life craziness.
I just began my pickleball journey over the past weekend. Definitely the shoes I have are not pickleball worthy. I know nothing about recommended gear. Looking to find out what is good for a beginner player. The P-38s seem to be the ones I need. This channel is definitely getting a subscribe from me.
I highly recommend getting something with good support and good traction, especially as you’re starting out and learning footwork. The side stepping can be a little dangerous in walking shoes/sneakers once you get into it.
i was literally just thinking last night i am going to get on UA-cam and find some shoe giveaways instead of paddle giveaways, because the shoes i'm using are worn down. Thanks for highlighting these; they are perfect for what i'm imagining using!
Show reviews too?! You just have all the essentials for us to thrive out here! I never thought about a second pair to alternate in between shoes with. Appreciate the video!
pickleball shoes absolutely elevate your game, coming from someone who started playing in running shoes. correct, tennis shoes are a bit 'bulker' in their padding and construction while PB shoes will retain the padded heal and substantial toebox but lose weight by having a lighter midsole and less superfluous padding. I have the jetmach 3s. very well made. the stock insole is not so great so i use the move gameday pros. its a great shoe for singles. for doubles i switch off between it and the Skechers Viper Pro -which might be my favorite as I find they play slightly lighter than the jetmachs and are slightly better fitting/comfy for my wider foot with their regular size being 'relaxed fit'. I consider price in shoes and both can be purchased for about $80 with sales/deals. interested to see if the p-38 can dethrone them. interested in how they compare to the montis shoe, similarly touted.
My feet deserves the comfort and stability. I recently rolled my ankle playing singles in PB. Hopefully these winners edge shoe would help to prevent that.
I like your suggestion of alternating PB shoes. I would like to have an extra pair to help with the rotation of my PB shoes. Hoping to win a pair of P-38 🙏🏻
I am going to be ecstatic if you do more shoe giveaways! Those Head brand shoes look awesome, too! I am going to love trying these out. They look cool, they're durable, and they're specifically functional for the game we love. What else could ya ask for!
Hey there, any reviews on the horizon for the Fatboy, Apollo and Monarch paddles? I think it would be cool to complete a breakdown on standard or wide body paddles. Thats definitely the trend at the moment.
Like you, I'm getting really tired of burning through shoes. I'd welcome an opportunity to test the durability, specific to pickleball movement that they have built into the shoe.
These sound like some top quality shoes. Too bad they do not come in wide widths. Thankfully I've found the Skechers Viper Court Pros and Kswiss Hypercourt 2 Express 2 both come in wide widths that are very comfortable. I highly recommend those to anyone with wide feet. Especially the Viper Court pros. The arch support is beyond comfortable and I can't think about how bad a court would have to be to rough up the treads. Would love if more companies helped out us wide feet players.
Thanks for the suggestions! I will say I sometimes wear wide shoes, and I think these had a good fit for me. But def hard to speculate. Everyone’s feet are so different!
I have been playing in a pair of Mizuno volleyball shoes. These sound like a great upgrade for me. I’d love to win a pair! Thanks for another great review!!
You had me at "long-lasting tread." My shoes' tread went bald quite quick playing pickleball, so these are going to be a welcome change in that department. Thanks for putting this giveaway & review out.
I would like to win these because I'm tired of burning through shoes. So far have been disappointed in Prince shows and find K-Swiss so-so. Thanks for taking the time to do this review - it's appreciated!
Can you weigh your jet mach 3 and the p-38 and share both weights? I like jet mach 3 because they are pretty light and fast. Other shoes that are built like "tanks" slow me down so I'd just like to know that weight... Thanks!
This raffle slipped through the cracks, but you're the lucky winner of the Winners Edge court shoes! You can verify in my channel's community tab, and please be on the lookout for an email! Congratulations again! 🎉🎉🎉
Sorry. If you're a new brand of shoes, $150 retail ($135 after discount) is a no go. That's the same price as flagship shoes from established brands that provide a 6 month outsole warranty and for which you can find many reviews online. If you're a new shoe company you should be coming in

For sure! For me, I really couldn’t deal with asics after they changed their sole warranty program. Had a really frustrating experience with them.
I want to try to see if this will be better for my Achilles tendon, as I have a tendency to overstretch them when playing pb. Thanks for reviewing them.

@@MatthewKPickleball I don’t know if email is the right approach because I haven’t gotten any “winner” emails from you yet. 😉
@@MattyRut2922 Haha. Be sure to check your spam folder! 🤣
I would like these shoes because my current shoes run out of tread too fast and never last. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these.
Currently have the Babolat Mach 3’s and my soles are starting to wear down thin, been looking for new shoes and so grateful you posted this review! Can’t wait to try em on!

Thanks for the review. I have a tendency to roll my ankles a bit, possibly because I lean too hard on the outside of my feet. Having some tanks for shoes would definitely help.
Thank you for the review. Definitely need a new pair of shoes to replace my old ASCIS tennis shoes which I also use for pickleball.

Prince Women's Cross Court Tennis Shoes
Thank you for the review. These shoes sound great and I'd like to try them. I recently tore my calf muscle playing, and I think shoes may have played a part, so I'm looking for ones better for short bursts of speed for when I'm healthy enough to play again.
Get well soon!
I definitely would like a pair of shoes that have durable treads. I enjoyed my Asics Gel-9's, but they went bald after 3-5 months of play. Thanks for spotlighting this shoe!
I'm very interested in this shoe because it's made exclusively for pickleball players, and isn't a modified/dual purpose shoe made for tennis players.
Glad to see you branching out with gear for pickleball. I usually just wear Hoka's when I play. I have been looking at pickleball shoes but haven't made to jump yet
Ooh, love this review. I've had my eye on these shoes for a while, but hadn't seen anyone talk about them.
Have been playing there sport for the last 5 months and I’m hooked on it. Currently I’m using my old basketball shoes and they’re definitely heavier than I would like. Just want to win them to have the right shoes for me to get better at pickleball.
These came right at the perfect time. I tend to toe drag while playing sports, so these long-lasting shoes seem great for me. Cool review.
These shoes would be an awesome fit for me… I’ve struggled to find good supportive shoes for my wide feet.
I love seeing non-paddle giveaways, honestly! Do you ever do pickleball bag reviews/giveaways?

Yes, these really are top notch IMO…And I’ve burned through a lot of hard court tennis shoes prior.
I highly recommend getting something with good support and good traction, especially as you’re starting out and learning footwork. The side stepping can be a little dangerous in walking shoes/sneakers once you get into it.
I bet these shoes would be good for disc golf, too! And I play disc golf, as well, so... Also, those look pretty sleek.
Thanks for the great review! These seem like very nice shoes.

Rotating shoes is key!

Left gel line for those one. You will feel a huge difference
Great review. These shoes look great.

I think they would!
I want P-38s for that side-to-side support!

Finding shoes that are comfortable and last are tough to do. I would like to get these and try them out
Thanks for the opportunity i like to try them out.
Thanks for the review and giveaway! All the specs you mention resonate with me! Good pickleball shoes are underrated!
I’ve been using ASICS gel court line… I would LOVE to try/own a pair of real Pball shoes.
Need these shoes because I’ve also been on the hunt for the best pickleball shoe for me. I usually run through shoes every 4-6 months
Hoping to find a pair of shoes for more lateral stability. This might be the ticket.
I have a pair and love them!
Never heard of this brand. Worth a shot

Agreed! As for reviewing Head’s stuff, I can’t seem to get a convo going with them about their gear. 🤷🏻♂️
I need a new pair of court shoes to replace my beat up shoes
A dedicated pair of pickleball shoes just seems like the right idea, and these sound fantastic.
I’ve been looking for a pair of shoes. I use adidas running shoes which aren’t bad but would like a lot more side to side support.
Hey there, any reviews on the horizon for the Fatboy, Apollo and Monarch paddles? I think it would be cool to complete a breakdown on standard or wide body paddles. Thats definitely the trend at the moment.

I have similar problems to yours with occasional plantar fasciitis thrown in. These sound like they could be a good remedy.

I’m pretty sure the other pickleball shoes I’ve seen are just rebadged tennis shoes. Do these guys make tennis shoes as well?
I don’t think so! I believe they are exclusive to pickleball.

i currently wear the skechers pro shoes and i am tired of how poor the durability is!
