You’ve motivated me to put more effort into my cardio and not just my weight lifting. Thank you man ! You earned a genuine sub
Mad respect to anyone who can finish a marathon. I’ve been running for 8 years or so as an adult and my body shuts down around mile 15. The training will improve and I will run a marathon one day!
Train in a weighted vest, walk around in a weighted vest, do everything in a weighted vest from the time you wake up until you go to bed. Even just running in a vest with 5 extra pounds, you will increase your distance and time. Good luck and stay focused.
8:32 Shoes didn't the main problem. Look at your arm at this moment in vid. You have goosebumps, because you're dehydrated. Something goes wrong with fueling. You tried to take a lot of energy in gels and water, but maybe it wasn't enough. That's really hard to do correct. And with this problems you did really good result. Good luck and i wish you achieve the goal on the next marathon!
Love it !! The mental conversations during a race, seeing you battle it in the later miles, emotional, reminds me of turning right into Central Park at NYC marathon and battling the head saying slow down slow down, then seeing the line and starting to get emotional . Keep up the great videos

I clicked on this video because of the title but after a few minutes, I completely forgot about the shoes and I watched the rest of the video because of the motivation and determination and persistence of this guy! About giving up... Sometimes, everything in you will scream at you to give up. You’ll find yourself searching for reasons, for excuses to quit and if you do, initially, you’ll convince yourself that it was the right choice. However, in the long run, giving up will leave you with a sad, disappointing memory. You’ll look back with regret, wishing you had held on just a little longer. If you refuse to give up, you will not only prove to yourself that you can do it but you will also create a memory that you’ll look back at and smile. At the end of the day, memories is all that remains when everything else fades away. So, try to create as many memories as you can that you'll gladly watch back with a smile!
Isaiah, you are an inspiration. I’m 23, and have so far ran 5 half marathons, and a 5K in my life. I plan to do more in the future, and hope to be able to run a full marathon one day! Any time I may need inspiration or motivation for my future runs (either in training, or for the real thing), I’ll come back to this video for it. Thank you, friend.
I am so proud of you! I watched with my eyes glued rooting for you the whole way. I am getting ready to run my first marathon in a month and I so appreciate your inspiration!
Hey man. I just came across your video and it feels inspiring to me seeing you go through this journey. I'm a swimmer in college and I've been trying to reach a sub 6-minute 500 meter freestyle. I spent a whole year trying to reach that goal only to end my season with a 6:00:22, .23 of a millisecond away from my goal. To make it worse, a guy on my team, who didn't even know how to swim, and started a semester later than me, ended up beating my time with around a 5:30, while I felt like I spent my entire life swimming and couldn't make it. It felt humiliating and I've stopped swimming since. This video just felt relatable to me on many levels and I know how frustrating it is to just not be able to achieve this goal you felt like you dedicated your whole life and training to. I hope to start swimming again and be able to achieve this goal but at the moment, it feels depressing to start again. I hope that one day, we are both able to achieve our goals so continue working at it!
Next time man, like you said, nail nutrition, training and keep to a plan, ditch th gimmick shoes and send it Currently training for my first marathon next year and your an inspiration
They are only "banned" for elite runners because they exceed the stack height limit of 40mm. Unless you run a sub 2:30 marathon (there may be rules at the Abbott majors), anyone can wear them without issues.
