great video bud and top channel you have.. so nice to see local african channels.. hopefully ill have some footage of my trip soon for some tiger fishing..
Fished Cahora Bassa for the last 11 years. You can get the odd hit on spinner baits and rapala but the go to is standard spinner. Agreed with one of the previous comments, only caught bigger fish on the bigger spinners. Smaller spinners get plenty hits, with trebbles normally always loose the fish Opened our Fishing Safaris Lodge this year on Cahora, you welcome to visit Joe's Place any time. Phillip Warth near you?
@@ThisisAfricaOutdoors nice. Would like to have you guys with us for real. Season starts September 30th.....Lake is at high record levels, I recon 14kg tiger will dangle this season without question. Phil is a champion 🏆
I'm pretty sure that rebel popper is caller a "pop r"... it is a legendary lure. Check out a video rick clunn did on it.. he shows you a unique way of using it.
I have actually caught a tiger on the Otus, but guess what! The GoPro wasn’t running, but I definitely plan on making a video on it soon, this year has been set aside for fishing and filming so it will definitely get done 🤙🤙
That’s great man, tiger must ruin the tails tho. I’m leaving the uk in the next few days for Zim timing is horrible as they in lockdown but definitely going to get some lures wet when I get there. Tight lines bud
I watch every single video of you and I would like to see a video of those big baits pls and more night fishing and catch tigers on jerkbaits please I would really like those videos if you make it thanks bye
Thanks Alot Josh..Most informative vid on the channel. Ive downloaded nd watched this one countless times when reffering back for info on lures. 🌟👍🏆 On average, what size lures do u use.. 8cm/10cm/12cm/14cm..? (Its a bit hard to judge the size of these due to the camera scaling and zoom.) I recently bought lures online that said 11cm, but the lip takes up 3cm so the body is only 8cm..is that too small for Tiger? Similarly i got a few others with a 10cm body..should these bigger size work better?
I’m sure that that whole size range would work! It’s great to have a wide range of choices because some days the tigers might prefer a bigger lure and other days a smaller lure. I’ve been looking and my ruler and that 8cm size is perfect 👌 also try get some Afrijigs they work really well! Also hooks for fillet fishing
Who dosent want a video about you fishing with big baits
Yes we would like to see you use the pike lures for tiger
