- In this episode of This is Africa Outdoors, we headed out for an afternoon of Tiger Fishing, at first the fishing was slow, but at the last minute I hooked into a monster on the spook!
Love seeing Sarah and Bruce on the boat!
😂😂😂 yes exactly!
Wow Nice catch!!! 👍Awesome video buddy 👊🎣🎣🎣
Thanks so much KZ
Lovely video and a nice tiger fish at the end.
Thanks!
Hey guys, great video again. Please in future videos, please tell us who is fishing and where you're fishing. Use Google Earth or Google maps of some kind, start each new video like that. Loving your videos and knowledge of fishing and catch and release. Keep them coming. Cheers from the USA.
Thanks for the comments, in future videos we will try introduce everyone, but I still have a lot of old footage to work through, I would rather not show the location of the dam as it is on a private game reserve dedicated to protecting Rhinos and not everyone is allowed access, I hope you understand, if you would like to do your own research the place is called Malilangwe
Well done guys
Nice seeing the whole family enjoying the fishing
Our home waters are the Kavango river between Angola and Namibia and we have a lot of hippos and crocs to contend with.
I believe there with you in the dam is crocs but I don’t see or hear any hippos!
Thanks again for the great entertainment!
Tight lines guys!!
Thanks for the support! Yes we have a lot of hippos in the dam! Around 60 of them, they don’t normally give us much trouble, they have only bitten 2 boats
Nice catch, what type of Lure you used for Tigerfishing?
Plz share the URL of its brand. Or link for its specs.
Cheers from Sudan
Thanks! It’s called a heddon spook most fishing shops stock it, I also have a video on tiger lures too
Used to catch them in Liberia, Lofa river. Huge fish.
Awesome man I would love to fish in Liberia one day!
@@ThisisAfricaOutdoorsshould you do so, use the strongest steel wire leader.
A great fish! Your Top 5 (or more!) lures you’d recommend for tigers please?
I’ve already made a top 5 tiger fish lures video, Check on my UA-cam shorts 😊
Very nice fish!
Thanks
What a great fish
Where is this about? Would love to add this fish to my list
This is south east Zimbabwe
Looks like a beautiful place for a swim haha. Just kept watching the video again and again. I couldn't help noticing that everytime you cast in the water randomly you don't get much but everytime you cast near structures you get bites. Fish love structre just a tip.
That’s a nice tiger boet
What is this river called
Malilangwe dam
Nice tiger josh
Why's the reel on the wrong side? 🤔
😂😂 that’s the side most Zimbabweans use it on
I always say the same thing, Australia, Africa and sometimes South America they're getting better because they have a lot of americans fishing there, but if you come from the states were we are used to having spinning reels with handle on the left and baitcasters with handle on the right it's so uncomfortable to use a reel with a handle on the other side, I went on a fishing trip and the guide had all his baitcasters with the handles on the left it ruined the whole trip, and I asked him why do you have all these reels on the left and he said he got great deal on them, it felt so spastic using them he actually gave us some money back
Where are you fishing
Welldone!!
Thanks 🙏
Awesome tigerfishing, we are lucky if we catch a big tiger like that in a year.
Thank you I’m very happy with it

What knot do you tie on ur trace
Uni knot
You don't use a knot trase has a rubber coating so you melt it instead of tying a knot
Haha, "im saving up for a stella". Yea bud, they are quality .
no one in africa keeping this fish as pets ?
😂😂😂 no
The guy on River Monsters makes these out to be an un-catchable predictor. He fails time and time again. He even starts wondering if it's real! Lol...and here's two kids ripping em' outta the water like carp! Lmfao! That River Monster guy must suck!
I think he really dramatized it for the show😂
Yes but he caught a giant tiger fish. 10x bigger.
He's also got an attitude of a Richard too.
@@dattack1970 yep 5 different species at a minimum.
