I’m doing my own ‘Advent’ with a Christmas themed self striping yarn from Must Stash Yarn, doing one pattern repeat per day. Day 1 is already done! Watching the advent videos & yarn opening is so much fun! Maybe next year I’ll join in officially, but one will be enough for me.

I’ve only ever done subscriptions and I always anticipate their arrival. After watching your intro into Vlogmas I’m regretting not signing up for an Advent this season. Although it will be all the more exciting for me next season.

Last year I stumbled upon your Vlogmas and have waited all year long to do a yarny Christmas Advent! So glad you're giving yourself some grace and not getting overwhelmed by advents. I have the Christmas at the Dogwood Cafe advent and the Bumblebee Acres Farm advent. Can't wait to see all the yarny goodness and notions from your advents. Yay Vlogmas!!

I didn't get a yarn advent.. sigh, I'm moving house, just unpacking in the new home now. I thought I'd be to busy/ stressed to enjoy an advent. Silly silly me! What was I thinking?! And now it's far too late.. Excited to see you open yours Kay, Happy Advent Openings! ❤

I love seeing all the knitting advents! I remember all yours from last year and love your idea of using them all in one project. Next year I will definitely get a few advents to open each day in December. It will be presents to myself! Till then I'll enjoy yours and a few others.

I did what you did last year too. I felt overwhelmed. I started making my advent projects in January besides the stripey socks but it was a much better flow. All the best, Kimberly

I have never been much for the holidays but I always look forward to watching Vlogmas. Especially the fiber related vlogs. I feel so much more inspired to get projects made and have so many ideas for new things I want to try each day/ year that I watch 😊

Happy Vlogmas! I've got three advents to open this year, but I'm actually using one from last year (Leo and Roxy 2022 Advent lto knit Ambah O'Brien's Allsorts Cape. I'm looking forward to seeing you every day, and seeing all the goodies - especially the Twice Sheared Sheep. I seriously considered it, but ended up missing out.
Loved seeing from your perspective as you walked down to your podcasting spot. I feel you on the Christmas is different when your kids are older. Mine are 16, 17, 19 & 21 and I feel like I do a lot of decorating etc on my own now. Vlogmas helps fill that little space now. Thanks for sharing your vlogmas joy!
