This felt emotional when I saw it 10 years ago. Now with nostalgia too it's almost too much for me. What a piece...

The love I have received in this world has to be enough to live the rest of my life, whatever may be in store for me. I have been so lucky. I still remember playing this with my partner at the time during the end of a New Year's Eve party in her parent's house. It was then 2020. It was on the big TV and it was just us, her parents, and one of her parent's friends--the woman with the shortcut blonde hair who looked like a rockstar. She thought this was very cool.

This whole video could be perceived to be about what someone feels before they become involved with someone and afterwards, once the relationship is established. (2:40) Especially with the lyrics. The ending of the video isn't exactly the ending of the relationship but more of 'there's some things they need to work out' and angsty emotions. Lol.

As much as I would sometimes like to ignore what those times meant to me, they are impossible to not remember because they tell of the treasures of my heart that I loved long before and shall love long after the particulars of that relationship.

Granny Diner was not on Yellow House. It was on Friend E.P. which came out in fall of 2007.
Sorry to be a G.Bear snob. This video is one of the most amazing things I've seen in a while. It's just...really beautiful. Incredibly atmospheric. And it makes me sad and happy at the same time.

you know you don't need to be on some kind of drug to make artwork like this. creative people are a bit mental already. we go on amazing adventures and journeys every day, in our sleep. i have only ever done marijuana once and that is the only drug, and this is sort of what my dreams are like. so just chill out and let you mind put a show on for you. sick of all this drug talk whenever something unique is created. that's all...

This feels curiously close to a place I called “flexy logic” about 20 min or “2 days” into a ketamine infusion therapy session. If I knew of this 6 years ago I might have saved $10K . And that’s a compliment, if there was any ambiguity
