Speaking as someone who is living in the independent music industry, it warms my heart to see gb making such brilliant videos and gain so much respect from their fans. Hopefully, someday, this "hip-hop loving", "auto-tuned", "computerized" generation will pull its head out of it's ass and try and start rebuilding american music. Until then, I am fine with keeping my headphones in, and my radio OFF.

I guess it's to give the music more a fullness and a sort opf soft melodic tone. All those bands you mention are quite whimsically inclined, and some people really like that about them.

Eh, I like the videos these guys have. The fact that they're closer to artistic and directed rather than over-produced and sexualized is nice to see. There's purpose to the video beside something just to watch while you're listening...that's what I meant.

I find with the better Grizzly Bear tunes, it takes me a few listens to really appreciate them but once I do they become an addiction. Right now I'm curled up in the fetal position with a cheap bottle of scotch listening to this song for the two hundred and eleventh time.
