This episode will be remembered as an artistic masterpiece which pushed the medium of anime and showed its true potential. I am sure the author of the manga will be proud to see this
I read and watched DDD. I remember crying after seeing this part in the manga, but to see how the animators and orchestra preformed to such a higher degree had me sobbing. I’m so glad they allowed this part to sit somberly and quietly with the audience till the very end. I still vividly remember the panel of Acro Silky jumping sadly yet beautifully, yet the animation they did for that part was phenomenal.
This is one of the most brilliant pieces of music ever written. After watching episode 7 I cannot listen to this without tearing up. Such a dichotomy, it crushes your heart because it's so painfully beautiful. Rarely do I consider something a masterpiece but the melding of this song with the story telling and animation from episode 7 are entirely deserving of it. Words can't to this justice.
I have talked so much crap about modern anime. That new anime will never be good as old anime. But now this! OMG. This episode really shut my ass up. 😢❤ PURE CINEMA

I think it's a very deep song, you transmit a lot just by listening to it and while watching the episode it was something spectacular.I hope to soon be able to see this song on more platforms like Spotify, Deezer and more, for the moment I have only found it on UA-cam but it is something beautiful, congratulations! ❤
Me encantan este tipo de escenas donde el soundtrack se va construyendo en conjunto con la historia; no se requirieron una gran cantidad de diálogos, la vista POV que nos daban te hacen sentir parte de la historia que no te preparan para el desenlace tan cruel. Al final supongo que a las personas que tenemos arrepentimientos con personas que ya no estan en el plano terrenal nos pega muchísimo el final y la frase "Ojala hubiera hecho mas por ti". Para mi, una obra de arte lo que hizo este director aun siendo su primer trabajo

Fragile, bittersweet, shimmering with the knowledge of its own fragility. It’s a dance that feels as if it is not truly hers. Every step a heartbeat, every heartbeat a step that is being watched and judged. A life that feels borrowed and unrightfully hers to begin with. A dance as if every step could be her last with this whisper of a life she wishes for the both of them, for her daughter. She pours her soul into this singular moment, feeling its depth as if it could last forever. These moments are the only ones that matters, as shown through her daughter's innocence in taking every day as it is, as long as it starts and ends with her mother. She clings to it, yearning to make it last just a bit longer - but it ends abruptly and so does this piece, slipping away before she could truly hold and cherish it, leaving only the ache of what was almost. Their time, delicate and finite, was cruelly carved by a world that never promised fairness. We wish for a kinder world for them.

I love how this show introduces villains as one dimensional characters and then later gut wrenches us with their back stories on WHY they turned out bad. Like Turbo Granny that is just a regular old granny spirit that weeps for murdered teen girls. 😔. You just feel bad for them.
Please good sir, watch Undead Unluck and release some of the OST's they have there They didn't release officially yet and its so painful because is SO GOOD! The show too, it really gets MUCH better after ep 9 onwards. Kenichiro Suehiro (Re zero) did a superb job there.

The author never really specifically tell what happened to her daughter after being kidnapped. its up to the watchers or readers. In the manga on chapter 17 last page, it just shows mom & daughter holding hands together, There are some assumptions: 1. Mom & daughter both actually died, and their spirits went together to a kinder world. this is likely what happened, but the manga never specifically tell how the daughter died. 2. It's just Aira's pray or imagination screens about them be in peace and goes to a kinder world. it could be the daughter still alive?
