Yeah agreed it would be awesome, thankfully there is the "Dell'Arte Della Guerra" also known as "The Art Of War" mod, that takes place in 1460 You can see on the map in their ModDB page alot of different factions like with EU4s map (but with less factions), so even if Byzantium is gone there is still Trebizond and Theodoro (i wonder if the Maniots of Laconia are in too, would be cool to have Cyprus and Epirus as well), you also got England, Novgorod, Mameluks, etc.
I love the armor mod And for those who wish there was a Mount and Blade title in the late medieval period, there is "Dell' Arte Della Guerra" also known as "The Art Of War" Basically it takes place in 1460, where you see many multiple factions from the Mamluks to England, to Novgorod, to HRE to Trebizond and Theodoro (which means you can avenge Byzantium with restoring the Komnenos Dynasty and ensuring the survival of the Crimean Goths, i wonder if Constantine Palaiologos the 11th will be a companion because there rumours spread that Constantine fled and promised he would retake Constantinople with a army) Right now, it's still under development and such, and the map will slowly fleshed out, first it will focus on the British Isles, then France, etc.
What do you think of For Honor? On the one hand, it's like the best Mortal Kombat ever, but on the other hand it's more of an additional game mechanic rather than the pivotal one. Just imagine, asymmetric multiplayer where some players take control of entire armies as in a strategy game like Total War Warhammer, whereas others play as heroes who possess different abilities and they fight squads of soldiers and other heroes. For instance, you behead a rival hero in a spectacular manner hereby boost morale of your soldiers
tbh, i think theres no reason to play it anymore lol, i think the only reason to play it is because the combat is pretty good but hellish quart is 12x better as a fighting game that also uses 100% only real and historical fighting technique, and i think the armor alone makes me not want to play it, thats my honest opinion.
tomorrow or the day after that, its actually really hard to record vids nowadays because of some issues with my pc and obs but i managed to record a good hour or two of gameplay and edit it down and only include the best exchanges out of the recording and make a 10 min vid out of that, i just finished editing and the vid is rendering
I wish they would make a mount and blade set later in medieval history, the armor that gets more developed throughout that time looks awesome.
