    Have had the same Sig for 2 years now, and I absolutely love it. Perfect tolerances, very reliable and just a pleasure to shoot. Only changes I've made are I swapped the grip scales for Wilson cocobolo ones (look amazing on a stainless gun!) and a Wilson flared magwell. Nice choice!

    • @adambarbara5002
      @adambarbara5002 3 роки тому

      Just bought the same gun, did you replace the main spring housing with the magwell or a grip magwell?

    • @danovichi
      @danovichi 3 роки тому +1

      @@adambarbara5002 Just the grip magwell, attaches to the grip under the grip scales (had to mill out a little of the scale material to make them fit). I honestly haven't felt the need to upgrade anything else on this particular pistol, it has been amazingly reliable (only malfunctions have been with a 10 round mag I have, and only twice, on the very last round each time...).

    I bought a used stainless sig that I believe was previously owned by a competition shooter. Everything was upgraded and now that you mention the stock trigger pull, I believe it had a trigger job done too. The pull feels lighter than the Geissele ssa-e trigger on one of my rifles

      I just put 60% down on this model due to it being pre-owned so I have to wait 30 days in total for the fbi to tell them this gun wasn't involved with any crimes before they can run my dros so it'll be paid for by the time they're allowed to dros it I just hate waiting smh

    So you think this is not better than the Kimber Raptor? I've shot the Raptor and it was sweet, but not sweet enough for me to buy it. The Sig just looks beautiful and different. Sorry for the second comment. I'm just thinking of getting this gun that I keep watching the same videos over and over. I'm also looking at the Springfield Armory 1911 TRP Operator with full rail.

    • @GoldenWebb
      @GoldenWebb  5 років тому

      SAVAGE308SNIPER I have multiple videos on this same gun so check them out! I think that Sig Sauer is the best pre custom 1911s made besides a dan wesson 1911. I’d prefer this gun over the raptor in my opinion. I’d 100% recommend this gun and I would have it 10:1 over a Springfield 1911. Springfield doesn’t hold a match to this gun.

      You can drop the slide on an empty 1911 thousands of times without any ill effect. I have this exact gun and have done so hundreds upon hundreds of times in the 2 years I've owned it, and it is still as good as the day it was purchased. Considering the violence these guns go through every single time you drop the hammer on a live round, there is absolutely NOTHING you can do to it with an empty chamber.
