RESPECTFULLY... I don’t like this 😤 Putting out 200 products per year based on STOLEN formulas sounds like the definition of “fast skincare”. Like they’re the fashion nova of skincare - which is a BAD THING. And as a skincare brand owner I HIGHLY doubt any of their products cost more than $1-$2 to make - so you’re still paying a 10x markup... Their marketing is brilliant: “we’re the good guys because we don’t do what they do... we steal their formulas, make them cheaper and then secretly charge 10x like they do...” 🤨 I don’t know... I respect your opinions but I would’ve loved to hear you question them about their fast-skincare and formula IP thievery approach because DEFINITELY call out other brands that do this sort of thing. Doubt you’ll ever see this but your integrity over the years (literally been following you for nearly a decade) is what I love about you most, so understand I say all of this with the utmost respect ✊🏾
You seem to understand the industry so I have some questions for you if you have the time. Where was there an IP theft by the company? From what I understand it works in a similar way to the clothing industry. The same quality of clothing, from the same factory has different costs depending on the brand logo that's put on them later (with some customisation). 10x the cost is still better than 30x the cost for the consumer. Why should we as consumers buy the cheaper alternatives. If they are coming from the same factories as other brands then the quality is the same, the labour practices are the same etc. (I assume). What do you consider 'fast skincare'? I assume they don't produce high quantities since they have had issues with things going out of stock (as I've read in different posts). And there is only so many products you can buy every month or two months so they don't really encourage 'over-consumption'. The way they do it would only allow you to buy a couple of products a month at most with a membership discount. I am asking these questions as I was actually trying to decide whether to try the membership with my sister. I would really appreciate your point of view.
Kylie takes other companies formulas A LOT starting with colourpop, but yet she is a queen to some people and some how no one has a problem or calls her out on it so strongly. This company is trying to give good beauty products at a good price and they are suspicious smh the world we live in.
I don’t want to pay $99 a year to have access to “cheaper prices” when I already only pay $70-80 a year on my skincare products alone, which have worked wonders for me. It would be raising the cost for me drastically not saving me money.
I'm so distracted by the popping or tapping sound whatever it is, that I don't get anything from the interview bits as it plays and my head slowly turns. Next thing I know I realize I've been staring out of my window for the last 3 minutes. I am interested in checking this out though!

@@CassandraBankson LOL, Im sorry. You are so nice, I didn't want to say anything., but I saw this comment, and well, did. I really do appreciate what you bring to the table and share with us.
Cassandra I love, love your content it's so informative and I've learnt so much but please please be more transparent about working with brands. Briefly mentioning that you are partnering with them is not enough and you know that. I say this out place of administration and love, just disclose your ads, it really isn't that hard. I would expect someone with such high personal moral standards and ethics to agree with me on this.
I really love watching your videos, as you always have interesting and informative content but could you please stop tossing, flipping, and juggling things around? It’s very distracting and I want to focus on what you are saying. 😊
im confused, youve highly criticized brands in the past for "copying" formulas/products for example kylies spf and supergoop saying its unethical. How is this different? Personally it doesn't bother me, ill take the cheaper dupe anyday. Im looking into this
I think the biggest difference is cost factor. If one brand copies the formula of another for the exact same, minutely lower, or even higher price would be unethical, but if a brand is transparent about using similar formulas but cutting out costly steps to provide more accessible products to a bigger audience ultimately benefits the consumers more than the industry
THIS IS AN AD. Small mention that’s it’s in partnership with beautypie. Also do you have @jameswelsh’s permission to reference him in your promotion in the description. Stop throwing things round as much too, makes it unwatchable.
Amy I am unclear on the difference between ‘sponsored partnership’ and ad, I would think that she’s still paid to do a promotional video this long. The interview with the creator was a bit cheesy. If anything this has put me off beautypie now.
@@helenflanagan6569 generally it’s a sponsored partnership if you get something other than money directly (product, interview content, discount code) vs getting paid directly to talk up the product. The tossing stuff around is driving me bonkers. She desperately needs to add subs to at least the interview I don’t think she needs permission to link someone though, that’s a bit much.
@Yazmin A. Perhaps, but if it’s to make you money or legitimise what you are doing then maybe (morally rather than legally). I’ve checked and he has done a video ad for beautypie too so you are probably right in this case.
Regardless of what kind of ad or how she got paid i disagree with hiding it. I was excited to check this out until mid video when I realized this was some type of undisclosed sponsorship/partnership. Had she been honest i would've purchased to support the channel and try the products. But I hate feeling scammed so I'll pass! Thanks for the info and I agree the bottle flipping was out of hand. I think it was a nervous tick because even she knew this was wrong.
The constant flipping was driving me nuts! Like others, I had to turn off, which is such a shame as I usually really enjoy these very informative videos
Gets excited. Goes to the site. Realises they don't deliver stuff to my country. Cries. But hey, it's really cool that aomething like this exists. It's about time the luxury brands started to ... well, die :D Consumers are more and more educated about the ingredients and the industry and we won't get fooled that easily to buy their overpriced products. Selling products for such a high prices, when the real cost is like only 10% of the price, should be illegal.
I’ve been a member ($10/m level) for few months and I’ve been very happy with most of products. I usually place an order every other month. It’s just fun to to be able to try different products at such affordable (relatively) price. For me, wash off products are where it’s at - they get washed away so I don’t want to spend too much, but i like nice cleansers. Beautypie is a perfect place for that. Please do a dupe video!!
I didn't LOVE her answer about the shampoos, but I'll back anyone who wants to overthrow luxury skincare brands. Enough is enough. There is a multi-billion dollar market resting comfortably on keeping us all feeling unworthy and insecure. It's good enough that 'the rich' can afford luxurious cosmetic treatments and procedures. Let us peasants have a little something, too. We work hard enough for it! I deserve to have good skin AND be able to save up for a holiday.
Cassandra, you give out such great information, but I can’t concentrate on it fully when I’m wondering, “Is she going to drop it this time or not?”, when you toss the products. I have to view with my eyes closed instead of watching your pretty face🌹. Please consider not doing that💕🌹💕
Most of the top ingredients look like filler when I read them. There was even a cream that had fragrance before the list of featured ingredients. Also I’m skeptical of anything that requires a membership. It’s not an MLM but it still seems shady and when you’ve got that many products, how much quality control can you really have? It’s just like those commercial restaurants that have a huge menu but the food is mediocre. Would you rather eat at a restaurant that serves 10 dishes or 200? You’d think focusing on less would make it more quality, right? I don’t love this but it is cool that they wanna make things affordable. Just don’t make me purchase your stupid membership.
Ok...the sound of the interview was bad....but the tossing, her way of speaking and the temper...that‘s her personality...i interpret this as passion and excitement...i don‘t mind that! Be yourself Cassandra!;)
The product tossing was a little distracting. Is this a paid ad? This is like the second or third time I have felt a sense of betrayal at the subtly of advertisements on UA-cam.
The membership levels and monthly limit is confusing. This is compounded since the MSRP and 'actual' costs both factor into the final tally of cost and limits. I'd like to see more transparency in how much consumers pay out of pocket, and how many units we can actually get per month for the membership fee.

Excellent point. Yes. Do this, please. 😁 I'd personally love if you would put a couple lists of specific products together to recommend for different skin types/problems. I have random notes scrawled on misc pieces of mail everywhere because I wrote down an ingredient or specific product that sounded good for my needs... But I keep loosing my notes. And I need a guide for a basic routine for normal to dry skin rather than oily skin. And even if I find all my mail notes, I'm not sure how to turn them into a list of appropriate products without getting a chemistry degree... And I did NOT do well in chemistry class in school!😂😂😲
I believe as time goes by and more millennial and Gen Z people become consumers and get into owning brands luxury skincare will slowly die. Because in our minds its bullshit and everyone should have access to good skincare! Hell yeah!
I have never heard of this brand before. But we Stan for a woman in charge and the values she has. Gonna look into a membership, and definitely use that code. Definitely do a dupes video please!
I don't like that you have to be a member right away when buying a product. If you choose to shop as a non-member it costs $65. For someone who wants to try out the brand for the first time I REFUSE to be a member of something that I don't know works for me or not. I feel like Cassandra forgot to mention that in her video. OOOOOOOOOOOR...... (pls Cassandra don't hate me) since there is a referral link and a creator code, this could potentially be classified as a non-disclosed sponsorship. I hope not, but it does make me question this video. Why else would the CEO of the company spend 45 minutes talking to somebody who has a YT channel? It's for publicity.

Me too, it's sets off my anxiety and epilepsy. I can't watch anymore. So very sad because I love Cassandra
I’m sorry haha!! I love the product flippy flippy but I do appreciate this feedback!! 🥺🦋💕
@@The_Viking_Highlander so sorry, Jessica! I appreciate this feedback and will try not to do this as much in the future. I looovee the product flippy but I respect and appreciate this constructive criticism! 🦋💕🥺
@@CassandraBankson Thank you Cassandra. I know you love the product flippy and once or twice is fine, it's your 'thang', but I've noticed quite a few comments about it being distracting and triggering anxiety. We all love you and your amazing content though, otherwise we wouldn't be commenting! Lots of love from lockdown UK xxx
I had to stop watching coz I felt it's so annoying watching the catching skills.
The product flipping
But I love the flippy flippy!! 🥺
Distracting
@@CassandraBankson It really bothers y'all that badly?
@@laurenbray8314 it doesn't feel professional.
I like it. It shows skills.
Dupes video good flipping not so good.
I appreciate all the research Cassandra does, but does anyone else find the product juggling distracting?
Good lord, now I'm just scrolling through the comments and not paying attention to the video. Too. Much. Flipping.
Yes, very much so. I feel awful because I love the wealth of information that Cassandra provides but the constant product tossing sets off my anxiety and epilepsy. I'm so very sad but I just can't watch anymore!
@@The_Viking_Highlander yeah. I also feel they way she speaks is sometimes immature. Can't quite put my finger on it, though. I'm this close to unsubscribing.
@@kendallstark4302 I agree, and I must admit that I am too. It makes me quite sad though because i really appreciate all of Cassandras advice x
More dupes, less product flipping!! Love you Cass but my god, I felt like you were trolling by the end with like 5 flips in a row!
Omg. I so agree. And I don't get why she does it.. I love her content but it gets to the point I can't watch.
I looove the flippy flippy 🥺
@@aussiepup33 getting there too
@@CassandraBankson it's cute like the first 5 times, then after that it's distracting and then after that I had to stop physically watching so I could listen to you because I was just waiting for the next one!
Definitely will be checking out Beauty Pie now though :) they look super interesting.
@@CassandraBankson I like them too, they are cute and fun. But maybe not 200 flips in 5 minutes. I don't want you to stop. I like when you flip a new product once or twice. Just please, don't abuse the flip! ❤
Cassandra, lemme ask a question. Why do you always throw the products up in the air? Is it to have a quirk thats like unique to you or something? Is extremely odd and im sure its a turn off for some people because 1) we afraid itll fall and maybe break, and 2) like why? And maybe once or twice its fun, but like 45 times a video is just annoying and distracting. Can you please just relax a little bit while sharing your extensive knowledge.
I figured it was the same as fiddling it fidgeting with something but It really drives me crazy.
It's her anxiety 😔
@@sandymywayofcooking1853 she said that?
We all do things differently. I dont get the annoyance at it. Its just a quirk and its part of the fun.
@@helixmoore7636 sure, but u cant really say for me what i find annoying. I find it annoying and thats that. If she finds that she’s willing to stop, great , if not, then whatever. Not the end of the world. Its still going to be annoying no matter how u explain it.
TELL US THE DUPES PLZ! It's what we're all wondering
And cost breakdown would be great too. :)
Please stop throwing things up in the air. It is so stressful and distracting to watch
I really love you. Can you please stop the flipping every other second, I have adhd and autism and it's very hard to stay focused ❤
RESPECTFULLY... I don’t like this 😤
Putting out 200 products per year based on STOLEN formulas sounds like the definition of “fast skincare”. Like they’re the fashion nova of skincare - which is a BAD THING.
And as a skincare brand owner I HIGHLY doubt any of their products cost more than $1-$2 to make - so you’re still paying a 10x markup...
Their marketing is brilliant: “we’re the good guys because we don’t do what they do... we steal their formulas, make them cheaper and then secretly charge 10x like they do...”
🤨
I don’t know...
Please, the product flipping is completely unnecessary & distracting. It seems to get worse with every video
Idk the ordinary is doing just fine for me ;)
Please stop flipping your products into the air. We understand you love it, but it is so extremely distracting :c
I was thinking that 2 annoying
Throw count: 42 (I think)
The information is great but the flipping of the product is way too distracting.
I don’t want to pay $99 a year to have access to “cheaper prices” when I already only pay $70-80 a year on my skincare products alone, which have worked wonders for me. It would be raising the cost for me drastically not saving me money.
Then this isn't for you. I think this is targeting people who buy luxury products
If you were buying products like the ones they mimic, you wouldn't spend only 80$ per year..
Pies have a lot of spice! Maybe they’re not “hot” spicy but they’re spicy!! :D BeautyPie is a SpicyPie!
Heheheeh 🥧 spicy mmm
Apple pie has spices in it. 😁
@@thayerwilliams905 And pumpkin too! Gotta love spicy pies! :D
I'm so distracted by the popping or tapping sound whatever it is, that I don't get anything from the interview bits as it plays and my head slowly turns. Next thing I know I realize I've been staring out of my window for the last 3 minutes. I am interested in checking this out though!
I think it was her earrings hitting against her airpods
I couldn't understand anything she said either.
I literally just watched so I could see how much product tossing there wb. Anxiety! Stahp
product tossing is distracting to me.
I’m so sorry about triggering the anxiety!! I really appreciate this feedback tho and will try to cut the product flipping out even tho I love it haha 🦋🥺💕
The products are not dupes they are made at the same place as the luxury brands.
THIS IS AN AD. Small mention that’s it’s in partnership with beautypie. Also do you have @jameswelsh’s permission to reference him in your promotion in the description.
Stop throwing things round as much too, makes it unwatchable.
I was looking all around for this info. So shady and disappointing that a sub had to share this with your audience.
She desperately needs to add subs to at least the interview
I don’t think she needs permission to link someone though, that’s a bit much.
Please, stop op throwing the products, it's annoying and unnecessary.
Edit: Ok I'm at 4:12 and I can't watch that shit anymore, idc.
The constant flipping was driving me nuts! Like others, I had to turn off, which is such a shame as I usually really enjoy these very informative videos
Man, I really wish Marcia's part had captions. I have no idea what she said :\
Gets excited.
Please stop throwing the products!!
So sorry but thank you for sharing! I love the flip but I understand and will try to cut it out in the future!!
@@CassandraBankson Sorry to have mentioned it but just found it distracting that’s all! Love the content xx
The membership part is too binding for me and could’ve been discussed more in detail. Seems like great products though
I love you but please for the love of God..... stop flipping that bottle 😜
This is probably my favorite series of yours, I love learning about the science and the market behind the skincare industry from you
Cassandra, you give out such great information, but I can’t concentrate on it fully when I’m wondering, “Is she going to drop it this time or not?”, when you toss the products. I have to view with my eyes closed instead of watching your pretty face🌹. Please consider not doing that💕🌹💕
Cassandra, I love your videos but for the love of god, STOP TOSSING THE PRODUCTS IN THE AIR! It's distracting and unprofessional.
What’s going on with the background noise?
Dupe video please 🙏
Ok...the sound of the interview was bad....but the tossing, her way of speaking and the temper...that‘s her personality...i interpret this as passion and excitement...i don‘t mind that! Be yourself Cassandra!;)
I’m sorry, but please stop playing with the product. It is distracting
I disagree. Its part of her fun personality. We cant expect people to be just like us.
DUPES PLEASE! I am sooooo happy you made this video and did the research. Such a breath of fresh air. Today is a good day. 💞
The product tossing was a little distracting. Is this a paid ad? This is like the second or third time I have felt a sense of betrayal at the subtly of advertisements on UA-cam.
Girl same with James welsh. It’s you James welsh and hyram.
Unpopular opinion: I find product flipping like a full stop to a sentence. 😂it's like, "moving on" to next part
The membership levels and monthly limit is confusing. This is compounded since the MSRP and 'actual' costs both factor into the final tally of cost and limits. I'd like to see more transparency in how much consumers pay out of pocket, and how many units we can actually get per month for the membership fee.
With all respect, can you stop jiggling with the products? You are extremely good and I love your reviews. No hate....love u lots
I was interested in trying their products but went to their website and is only available in the US and UK 😭
Please stop throwing the products!!
So, at the end of the day, is this a good membership and product? Tell me now. Your video is too long. Is this worth it?
I beg you to please stop tossing product. I love your info but tossing the product adds nothing and it’s distracting.
Do you have a very soft face, how did you get them? Could you do a vjdeo of your face routine, please?♥️
Yesssss please do a dupes video!! I’m a beauty pie member and I have had some hits and some shits. Would love for you do delve deeper into the products and the ingredients!!! Pleeeease do this (preferably before my next pie day 💋)
I'm 41 and I have extremely dry skin. I have for so many years looked for a lotion/cream that worked and at last I found one that have changed my skin. Soap and glory the righteous butter. Its amazing and ill never look back long as they are available
Yes please! Also, which products are good for us mature gals!! Happy Holidays!
Omg you do it soooo many fucking times, im sorry, but will it be ok with you to stop a little? Like why bro.
As much as I wanted to like Beauty Pie I couldn't get behind the smell of most of their products. They smelled of chemicals
I’m gonna need that dupes video, looking at the site idk where to start and having some familiar products to reference for replacement would be suuuuper helpful
Excellent point. Yes. Do this, please. 😁
I'd personally love if you would put a couple lists of specific products together to recommend for different skin types/problems.
You go girl! Loved this video 😁🙌🏻btw your curly hair looks just lovely today ❤️
Definitely interested in cost breakdown and dupe information.
I will definitely be checking out Beauty Pie!
