I love beauty pie. I have even emailed them asking what products I should buy for my mum who is 57 and they emailed me back within couple of hours. I would love to see an updated video within 6-12 months to see the results x
Thanks for this video Jen! I signed up for BP this year and really appreciate your recommendations. There aren't a whole lot of Y'Tuber's that do BP videos so this could be a special niche for you... and one that I would selfishly enjoy!
You have the prettiest eyes! Pretty shape and beautiful color! I think in your after pictures your skin overall looks more plump and smooth and hydrated.
I would love another update, maybe 6 or 8 weeks from now if you continue to use these products. thank you for all your research and opinions as usual!!
I am a Beauty Pie subscriber and have enjoyed almost everything I have gotten, both skin care and make up! Thanks for the review. Helps me to know which products to pick next order.
I have been searching for a good skincare subscription box just to try new things and really there's nothing super great out there. This sounds SO MUCH BETTER(!) because I get to pick what I want. And holy cow talk about some inexpensive gifting ideas, too! Editing to add that the site states the unspent amount rolls over to the next month. That is awesome!
I wasn't a subscriber to Beauty Pie until I saw your last video on them and now I am:) I used your code (thank you!) and bought the cream contour and a couple of the shadowsticks - skin care next having seen this review. Loving your pink eye look today btw:)
SO excited!! I joined months ago (thanks to you) and/but have mostly been buying makeup, which I love. Looking forward to this report on the skincare....
Your skin looks healthier in the after pics to me. I love the Uber Youth serum too. I use the retinol eye cream and day and night as well, I mix em with one of their moisturizers, Super Healthy or Jeju usually, w a few drops of the sleep oil. The sleep oil is amazing. I love the makeup removing balm. It gets my waterproof mascara off. I also use the ceremonies capsules, but not as often as you do. I like putting my skincare down my neck and on the backs of my hands too. Great vid!!!
Can we talk about how amazing these angles are for the product close ups?? This video was exactly what I was looking for thank you for going so far into detail!! Your skin is looking fabulous btw
I think you Skin is looking great! I can’t wait to see a before and after with longer time in between. I think if I didn’t have so much skincare I would definitely try this Beauty Pie out.
You look marvelous, dahling!! So so pretty in white. I'm definitely interested in this brand... I have an obnoxiously oily t-zone. Seems to get worse as I age. I'm definitely going to go onto their website after I finish your video. Have a lovely weekend!!
Thanks Jen :) I have very dry sensitive skin (though I'm older than you and changes accelerate down the road - eek!) so I was thrilled to find your video. This looks like amazing way to explore luxury items that are usually out of reach for me!
I started using Beauty Pie in 08/2022 and found my extremely sensitive skin just LOVES this product. I have ordered more products and looking forward to a having better skin.
Taking some serious notes during this video because I just signed up for BeautyPie and I have to pace myself since I have the $10 plan. I want to make sure I choose things I'll use and so far those Vitamin C capsules are my first choice!
Thank you for such a thorough review! My membership renews next week, so I've been looking at what to order next, and I was wondering about retinol moisturizer. I have more normal/oily skin, and the Super Healthy Skin line seems to work best for me. The Japan Fusion cleanser is nice but the step 3 moisturizer never sunk in on my skin, so I gifted that line out. Also, in case anyone is wondering about the foot peel...it's only okay. There is a $6 CVS brand that works faster and won't take up your allowance :).
Yes the JapanFusion line definitely seems to be geared toward dry skin! Also I was wondering about the foot peel it was next on my list! Thanks for the suggestion!
Thanks for this. Really loved the before and after photos. I think your eyes in the after picture are way less puffy. Also it’s good to have a skin twin. I’ve always had dry skin....I’m going to look into bp.
Great video on beauty pie. I’ve been a member for a few years buying makeup products and most recently some of their candles. I have a few skincare products from them but haven’t delved too much in that area. After watching this I will be buying more of their skincare and since I don’t buy things from them often the spending limit rolls over each month. Luckily I have quite a bit saved up. I guess I’ll be adding serums, vitamin c and some of the other products you mentioned to my next order. Thanks so much. I’m also new to your channel and have hit that subscribe button!
Definitely definitely looks more glowy in the second picture. I love beauty pie. There's not one product that I have not absolutely loved from them. If you were on the fence, do it. And their lip oil oh my God I have like five
I have only tried beauty pie makeup in the past when I was gifted a one month subscription but I am intrigued by their skincare. I was shocked when you said you were 42, I thought you were no older than 35!
Hi Jen I saw your video and i liked it.I think that it's worth it and you are a nice lady don't forget about this. You are making a good work.see you soon and stay safe.
You might have talked me into beauty pie, after I use up some stuff first. I’m someone who so far has been unwilling to pay high prices for skincare, but my skin is changing, and the other day I was actually considering paying $200 for a small jar of topical retinol. So maybe that’s not completely necessary. I think I’d be better off trying this first. Side note, I’m your age, and I have huge crows feet when I smile. It seems they came all at once when I hit 41. You look amazing. I know you hear that a lot, but it’s inescapable to me since we’re the same age.
You do look more glowy in the after pic. I started the high dose beauty pie retinol, 2 weeks ago and it’s so gentle I’ve been using it every night after moisturising .no issue with it being a high dose I think this is due to it being time released. Enjoyed your video 😊
I've been a subscriber of Beauty Pie for about a year but not found the right skincare products that work for me. I am going to try the JeJu ones as not tried these before and was interested from your review of them. X
I got my first Beauty Pie order a few weeks ago and I ended up getting makeup but next month I want to try some skincare. I might have to raise up my limit after this video!😂🤣
Ok those Vitamin C capsules are genius! I bought the Mae Love Vitamin C serum on another UA-camr recommendation (it was around $30 I believe) and after only a few weeks it was starting to turn yellow and oxidize which means it's no longer at full strength. Where have these been all my life? I'm seriously considering signing up just to get those!
I want to try the capsules too yet you may want to check out Timeless as they recently repackaged their Vitamin C serum so it will not oxidize! The new packaging keeps it fresh for up to 6 months!
I can see a difference in the before and after photos of your forehead. Ita a textural difference though, not just a softening of your expression lines. Not that you have textured skin, as in from scarring, but the skin cell lines are softer, the skin is more hydrated and plumper. Like a child's skin texture, which is even more evident in the overall picture like you said. Having said this, I still think you should use a moisturizing cream after the ceramide capsules at night. It could even be the same one you use in the daytime. That would lock in hydration even better than the ceramides, and prevent TEWL.
Thank you so much I agree that the texture just looks better overall! Also, the Retinol I use at night is a moisturizing cream, and it's very rich, so adding another one would probably be too much. 😊 At first I was layering the Ceramide Capsules under the Retinol but since they have silicone in them I was afraid they would prevent the Retinol and moisture from sinking into my skin all the way, so I decided to use it as a barrier on top instead. 😊
I am interested because I just want more eyeshadow sticks, I want to scribble and smudge my way out the door in the mornings. EDIT: I tried Good Molecules because of you and I am still into it because this stuff never seems to run out lol. The niacinamide didn’t do for me what it did for your skin that I can tell but it still feels nice and my skin agrees with it. So Maybe I’ll like this stuff too. I’m gonna need a serum soon
I have some more recent Beauty Pie finds but they are scattered throughout videos rather than a dedicated one. If you search Jen Phelps Beauty Pie they should come up! ❤️
@@JenPhelps thank you, I’ll go search for them, I have dry skin too and if you say they are good then I’ll try them. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.🦃❤️. I’m back I did do a search but it was all a year ago, I was looking if you had done an updated video of what skincare products you tried that you loved from Beauty Pie, that’s ok I’ll wait on more reviews from you, I watch your videos as soon as i get my notification.
Hey Jen, do you sleep on your right side? I’m trying to train myself to sleep on my back.. I love your channel, love the very informative way you present products!
I sleep on my back, actually! And it's weird that my right eye has more wrinkles because my left side has more sun damage/spots (I think from driving). So it's very strange that the lines are worse there.
love these videos i ve been wanting to try beauty pie but i watched a tic toc video about trouble with returns i was wondering if you've ever had to return anything that doesn't agree with your skin and how they were with customer service. I am going to try some of the ones you mentioned i've bought other products you have liked and it always works out well thank you i hope you get a beauty channel on tv or netflix how fun would that be !
I'm watching this 3-1/2 half years after it was made. Are you still using these Beauty Pie products or any others from them? Since then Beauty Pie has simplified their menbership plan to one membership of $59 per year. I found Beauty Pie a year ago, and have bought a lot of products during that time. I'm loving their skincare products for my over 60 skin. However, I just wanted to comment that their prices seemed to have really gone up over the past three years. The value you get in their products is still good compared to comparable prestige products, but I really question the percentage increased in three years time. For example, the first product I saw someone review which led me to Beauty Pie was the eyeshadow pencils. You stated they were $5.00 each. In February 2023 when I purchased them they were $9.00 each. Now in February 2024 they are $14.00 each. They have almost tripled in price in a little over three years! I have no idea if the Laura Mercier version has done the same.
I gotta say in the first before and after shot, I noticed your under eye coloring seemed better in the after shot. In the second before and after shot of your eye, if I’m being honest, I didn’t see a third wrinkle in either picture until you pointed it out. I did, however, think the two wrinkles were actually deeper and more obvious in the after picture.
I think it might be because that "after" shot was a little bit closer up and it makes the wrinkles look bigger. To me they look about the same but the lighter fine line was gone which was nice!
I got a sample pack of the fragrances and showed it in one of my Sunday hauls a few weeks ago...they were all really nice scents! I haven't tried the shampoo or conditioner yet but I've tried the new Blow Dry spray and really like it so far!
I've been using the Super Healthy Shampoo and Conditioner and the Elastic Repair Treatment for about a month and I love them. They have a very light fragrance, doesn't really cling to hair after drying. My hair tangles easily and the first time I used it I wasn't crazy about it, my hair still knotted. Then I actually read the directions, and it says to use a small handful and the results are fantastic, silky hair, rinses clean. I use the Elastic Repair Treatment about once a week and leave it in for about 20 minutes while I do a facial mask. I started using Beauty Pie after Jen's first review of them and I love everything. I also contacted them and described my skin care issues and they recommended a full day and night regimen for me to try. Customer service is great!
I’m lost with Beauty Pie😓 If I get the $10 subscription per month, I think I’m hearing I get $100 to spend- but I’m paying retail price. If I go over that $100, do I get to pay the cheaper member price?
Sorry it's so confusing! You always pay the cheaper member price if you're a member. They don't actually give you $100 to spend, it's a limit that you can spend up to. So for example if you have the $100 limit, and you want to buy the Retinol serum, you'll pay $12 for it (plus the $10 subscription fee). And since the retail price of it is $95, that's the only thing you'll be allowed to buy for the rest of the month because you've hit your spending limit. I hope that makes sense!
I didn't renew my membership w/beauty pie because I found it annoying how prices kept creeping up every month to where it wasn't a deal anymore. Felt scammed..
I'm trying beauty pie skin care. Would you please help me with the order you applied. Thank you! I have some of the products with my first Beauty Pie order. Lol
I'm a little confused. At 3:30 when you are talking about the spending limit you say that if you're on the $100/mo plan, you can purchase $100 of makeup but at retail prices, not the member prices. Aren't you paying the $10 for the membership? I'm probably not listening well enough ☺
It's super confusing! The $100 a month is what you can spend UP to. So for example if you are on the $100 plan and you want to buy the retinol serum, you'll pay the cheaper price for it (I think it's around $10-12). But because the retail price of it is $100, they won't let you buy anything else that month because you used up your spending limit. So you don't PAY $100 for it, but they apply the retail cost toward your limit so it lowers the amount of products you can buy each month. I don't know if that makes more sense it's so hard to explain. Just know that you only pay the lower prices with membership!
The "tingle from vit C is usually due to the low Ph of a properly formulated product ( Ph 3.5 ) It does get better after a few uses. Don't give up on it! Lol It might be me, but your skin looks irritated in the after pictures.
@@lanaj1107 he's been testing out some new LED bulbs that are supposed to last a long time. The first ones he got started flickering after a few weeks so then he switched them to these. He got them on Amazon, I'll have to see what they're called but so far they're much better!
I completely understand...I know a lot of people avoid it. I don't mind it because it acts as an occlusive and seals all of the moisture in like a barrier. With really dry skin it helps a lot and it's not as greasy as Vaseline or other barrier products. 😊
It usually takes 6-12 months for retinol results, so it would be lovely to see the month by month results 💜
I love beauty pie. I have even emailed them asking what products I should buy for my mum who is 57 and they emailed me back within couple of hours. I would love to see an updated video within 6-12 months to see the results x

You did such a great job explaining how the website works! I can’t wait to hear how you feel the vitamin c works out for you! ❤️❤️
Ahhhh I can see a difference! I want two try this skincare! The retinol and the ceremonies especially!!!
I love the nature in the background, so pretty and calming 💚
Thank you so much Rosanna! :) I love our backyard because it's so quiet and peaceful!

This was perfectly timed! I was on the website yesterday and couldn't figure out what I wanted to do!
Yay!! 🤗🤗💕💕
I think the brightness of your skin Jen is most definitely visible!!!
I’m a Beauty Pie lover too. Great video!
Beauty Pie skincare sounds great! Thanks for the info. 💕
I can definitely tell a difference especially in the overall picture. I’m a new subscriber and I absolutely love your videos ♥️♥️♥️

Wow, there’s a definite difference in your skin!! Thanks for sharing. I’m super interested...and I was already considering it just for the make up.
Can we talk about how amazing these angles are for the product close ups?? This video was exactly what I was looking for thank you for going so far into detail!! Your skin is looking fabulous btw
I’m crossing my fingers that Beauty Pie will start shipping to Canada ASAP! I want to try so many things. Great review as always.
Wow 🤩 you did a great job sharing your results. Thank you so much. This was helpful.
I think you Skin is looking great! I can’t wait to see a before and after with longer time in between. I think if I didn’t have so much skincare I would definitely try this Beauty Pie out.
I'm looking over starting/joining Beauty Pie, and appreciated this look at their products. Thanks!
You look marvelous, dahling!! So so pretty in white. I'm definitely interested in this brand... I have an obnoxiously oily t-zone. Seems to get worse as I age. I'm definitely going to go onto their website after I finish your video. Have a lovely weekend!!
Thank you for the details on how BP works!
So happy you did this video!!!
Thanks Jen :) I have very dry sensitive skin (though I'm older than you and changes accelerate down the road - eek!) so I was thrilled to find your video. This looks like amazing way to explore luxury items that are usually out of reach for me!
Also, I don't know if they changed it, but shipping was about $8.95 to US on my $50 order. I loved mostly everything I tried!
I recommend adding a sunscreen to your morning routine. Especially since you mentioned that you suffer from sun damage.

That's a great choice, they're one of my favorite products and something that not a lot of other brands do, so it's more unique!
Try the japanfusion cleanser, it's awesome. And you will need to upgrade your subscription, their products are really nice and hard to resist.
Thank you for such a thorough review! My membership renews next week, so I've been looking at what to order next, and I was wondering about retinol moisturizer. Yes the JapanFusion line definitely seems to be geared toward dry skin! Also I was wondering about the foot peel it was next on my list! Thanks for the suggestion!
I always use my hydrating creams on my hands too; what a great way to use the ceramides!!
Hi Jen! I'm so excited for a skincare video, you have such beautiful skin and look much younger than your age so I always want to know your secrets!
Aww thank you so much Jenny!
Yes, I've been waiting for this review.
Thanks for this. Really loved the before and after photos. I think your eyes in the after picture are way less puffy. Also it’s good to have a skin twin. I’ve always had dry skin....I’m going to look into bp.
Thank you, this was great video. Very helpful and detailed. Will certainly help with product choosing.
Hi Jen! Your eye look is gorgeous! What are you wearing on your eyes? 😍😍😍
Hi Jessica! Thank you so much! It's the Colourpop Sailor Moon palette. :)
I agree so pink n pretty
I agree too! The pinks really bring out your eye color! Beautiful!

Jen Phelps Ohhh, ok. I get it now. Very good written reply. Thank you! It is confusing!
Soo these are made with the exact same ingredients as the high end?
your face looks more moisturized. Looks softer more supple is what I am trying to say.
Can you stop the suspension at anytime??
I didn't renew my membership w/beauty pie because I found it annoying how prices kept creeping up every month to where it wasn't a deal anymore. Felt scammed..
I haven't been ordering from them much anymore because you're right the prices did get way too high!
I really want to try Beaty Pie, but I live in Russia
P.s you should probably pay dry because wiping the skin like that can have negative affects :)
Can you cancel at any time? If I just wanted to try it out for a month or two
I'm trying beauty pie skin care. Would you please help me with the order you applied. Thank you! I have some of the products with my first Beauty Pie order. Lol
I can see a difference 💕 looks good need to ck it out for sure
Do they ship to Israel?
Where is the metal spatula from?? 10:49
That was from a primer from the new XX Revolution line from Makeup Revolution. 🤗
Is it medical grade skincare?
they need to do Free Shipping!!!
Thank you
I'm a little confused.
You don't look 42 at all.
The "tingle from vit C is usually due to the low Ph of a properly formulated product ( Ph 3.5 ) It does get better after a few uses. Don't give up on it! Lol It might be me, but your skin looks irritated in the after pictures.
I think its just the lighting...it looks a little more "pink". My husband changed the lightbulbs in the house so that's probably what it is.
@@JenPhelps Aha...he's the culprit! I'm trying to figure out whar bulbs to put in the bathroom that don't make me look like a corpse. Any hints?
@@lanaj1107 he's been testing out some new LED bulbs that are supposed to last a long time. The first ones he got started flickering after a few weeks so then he switched them to these. He got them on Amazon, I'll have to see what they're called but so far they're much better!
Disappointing that all their products are chock full of silicones... 🤨
I completely understand...I know a lot of people avoid it. I don't mind it because it acts as an occlusive and seals all of the moisture in like a barrier. With really dry skin it helps a lot and it's not as greasy as Vaseline or other barrier products. 😊
