Hi! Surprisingly the bag is still alive. It’s holding up pretty well. I’ve even started training punching bare fisted (to develop hand and skin strength) - and the bag is still doing well. :)
Thanks I have coming Few day and thought I would need Sand or Water but Clothes Rags Allot Easier. Prob in 10 mins ready for Gloves Dress and Heels and Dinggg
Think this might be good for beginners and kids but not for someone like me who a power puncher the bag didn't last a day. The bag was small to even be consider a heavy bag tie a rope around the bottom of the bag and weights to try to keep it from swing so much but even with all that about 30 minutes in doing some functional work it started to tear. I used Rice fill up the bag. Don't think this bag able to handle sand or rice and probably should only use clothes like what you did.
Yes you are correct! This bag is for beginners only. :) only for those who want to have something to punch - but not spending too much. If you spend too much money - you might get punched by your wife!! Hahaha. :)
Mine is also the 80 cm model and yes I put in 8 tube socks full of sand... (with part of a yoga mat, and rags)... it's at about 20 ~ 25 keys (that's about 45 ~ 50 pounds) and it seems to be handling the weight okay but it's probably pretty close to it's max... mine didn't come with the paper that usually comes in unfilled bags that says the weight capacity... so I guessed it as standard for a 80cm (4 foot) heavy bag... seems okay so far. Never put pure sand in a punching bag until you understand the exception to that rule... (they do make bags specifically designed for that... some already have a ton of padding sewn in, other's are quadruple stitched with the beefiest webbing/straps you've ever seen ... those bags are for pro's and they serve a specific purpose ... they're hard as rock.) Never put sand directly into the heavy bag... bag up the sand first... I usually put in in a sock that I line with a plastic grocery sack, fill with sand... tie off the bag then tie off the sock... playground sand is common because it's inexpensive at the hardware store, but since this bag was so small that I only needed like 8 socks worth, I literally just stole some from the beach... just sift it first but the sand is in the core... you'd have to punch threw a yoga mat and a couple few rags to get to it... Typically the reasons to put sand are to harden the bag and to add weight, while having too long of a chain is the biggest cause of too much bag swing... it can also be because the bags too light, especially smaller bags like the one we're discussing today. Anyways that's probably more than anyone ever wanted to know about putting sand in punching bags... but knowing this will save people from learning the hard way. Cheers.
@@binaryglitch64 Thanks for the tip! might redo my bag's stuffing... It sways too much with just clothes and blankets... Might add some sand on socks also! :)

How many cm/feet is it in height
Hi! My punching/heavy bag is 80cm tall. It's the smallest one in the lineup of bags I found. If you look online there are also 100cm to 180cm.
@@BuildRestoreRepair thanks for the clarification
You are very much welcome!

This is a punching bag made for toddlers.... you need something wayyy heavier than this for a grown man.
I do agree. After a while, Im already looking for something more stable to punch.. :)
