Lada 2105 or Lada Nova 1300cc and Lada 2104 with this engine had the belt, other Lada Classic (2101-2107) series engines had the chain. FWD Ladas had the belt at all, Lada Samara 1/2, Lada 110, Lada Priora, Vesta, Kalina and other, SOHC and DOHC engines only with belt. Today only Lada Niva has the chain, because its engine made on 1600cc classic block

@@LADAMoscow yes, i got the new timing cover and the... Umm spinning thingy with teeth, just need the electronics. Something cheaper than buying a megasquirt or similiar unit

spinning thingy with teeth = timing wheel / main pulley wheel. So what do you use as ignition for this engine?
