I still prefer the original with the little splashes of colour, but either way who doesn't love a F91, and after telling Birkenhead they're 30yrs. behind the times I'd keep to your side of the river for a little while....LOL

This is one od 2-3 best designed Casios EVER. Will buy!!! It is THE ULTIMATE CLASSIC! I completly agree with you and dissagre with Math Watch Collector which is not often.

@@JasonTheWatchGuy GENERAL PUBLIC will like it, no dubt. Watch enthusiasts know original version too good and that might sometimes be anti-modern i.e. anti-contemporary.
@@JasonTheWatchGuy No, I generally mostly agre with both of you, and this difference in oppinions is a slight surprise for me. Espexially since he has a lot of Casios (50+) and this one is DIFFERENT. Completely classic in the most classic way. It is different, and for that wellcome! Original version was good for the time, but this is perfect for any time. Ehen I first saw this my first thought was: "Well, this is what I was waiting all along." True story!
I think our differing opinions is exactly the same as the general market will have! He's looking at it from a collectors point and I can see why he has those opinions, I'm looking at it as this will be good for the general consumer and maybe bring in new generations of watch enthusiasts

I own a F91W and it's been sat in my watch box for over a year and that watch has a little more character then the updated one. So not for me.
I love Casios and Gshock were the Gateway watches that led me into this world.
Same here, I love the classics but when this came up I really couldn't deny myself a little review
I must one of only a handful of watch enthusiasts that does not like the F91w. Had a ton of them growing up but I just never gelled with them. These new colors look cool though. Take care Jason!

Won't be buying one as I prefer the W217H (the normal module, not negative display) for my daily digital wear: G-Shock square vibes for no money, great backlight and a bit bigger on the wrist. I did put it on an F-91W strap though. Thanks for the review Jason.

i DONT KNOF IF YOU WATCHED, BUT jODY HAS A VIDEO PROOVING (amongst other things i.e. watches) THAT even the original W91 has in fact 60 meters of FACTUAL (=real!) WR, according to his own pressure test. And that is enough even for a pro-diver, belive me.
I agree with your attitude about the light, but it is stil OK, and a funny relict of the past =)
It's a great light with zero light but an upgrade would have been nice
